Fun fact about the strider mission: since it blew up, the Liberation front actually docks your pay for that mission, but then Walter covers for you in bonus pay. It shows up if you use the check option in the results screen.
One big reason why Balteaus is so much easier: OS tuning damage upgrades. If you stagger him (which is his gimmick) the one tuning for stagger punishing gives you a damage buff, and that buff gets applied to your kinetic/energy/explosion damage buffs aswell meaning you do a ton of damage to him

But your right, it's mainly just Balteaus being the first hard boss of the game, so when you first encounter him your not really in the flow of the game yet. Your parts are also pretty limited when you first meet him aswell.
If you want to know what battle logs you're missing just go to replay mission and check to see if the mission says COMPLETE or PENDING on battle logs. It says it right above the mission summary I think.
It's crazy how you easily defeat missions I have issues with but I don't have any trouble with missions you take multiple tries on. The mining ship mission took me so long to beat and you just one-shot it!

@@ruikiri One of the STK Sketch logs implies that Carla was Assistant 2 to Professor Nagai at the Institute, and that Walter was the son of Assistant 1 who went mad and invented Coral augmentation, hence all the info from Walter's "friend" not being logged. Walter's friend doesn't exist, it's all Institute data Carla and Walter had beforehand.

Bro if you accept swinburn plea, you can kill him oneshot regardless of his HP, also there's a funny Dialogue from him and Ayre 😂. Also in in mission grid 153 in early mission, if you return to where you land on the first day, you. Meet an New enemy and dialogue 😊
If you think about it the PCA uses mobile suits They have mass produced units and specialized units . With the only thing they can change are weapons but are incredibly advanced Meanwhile ACs are way more customizable but are a little behind in terms of technology
Well without playing NG++ you won’t get whole story picture. Because on NG++ you basically see all of the events from different perspectives and all confusing things are begin to clear out. As examples - these unknown invisible mechs. Will not add spoilers but you will understand what are they only at NG++

The PCA controls the institute weapons. Also the data logs you collect give background info. Carla was a kid when the fire of ibis happened and she was friends with another kid there but he died or is Walter. He never smiled or laughed, and she made Chatty Stick to be like him. So thats why in the mission where you fight them if you get the dialogue where Chatty laughs she thanks you. So yeah if Walter isn't the kid friend of Carla then he is one of the assistants of the scientist who was the head of the institute. The one who created the human augmentation, although I dont think so because that guy was supposedly driven mad by his research.
@@ruikiri They were already there. That's the reason why everyone was trying not to get caught when they arrived. They give the code to activate the ice worm which was an institute weapon. They talk about the closure system being in place several times and the satellite that shoots down your pod at the very start of the game was PCA. Which is part of the same satellite array that keeps shooting at you before you fight the spider.

Here's how I believe this game should be played. 1st playthrough skip all cutscenes. Take missions that pay the most 2nd playthrough watch all cutscenes and save the world 3rd play through do not go past a mission until it's s class Playing through one time is not "beating the game"

Do the Clear Enforcement Squads mission next. Needed forbthe 3rd ending, i believe. Also theres a secret AC fight in the outside portion. Cant remembwr if you did it.
4:10 From Software learned from Chromehounds, which they also made, to never do that again. Cuz the DLC parts Chromehounds got were overpowered, or at least the double barrel howitzer cannon which everyone could buy for like 2 to 5 dollars. Those cannons got nerfed to the ground. And then DLC parts and equipment ( for Souls games) were never again to be put up for DLC. If there's going to be new parts, it'll in the expansions. Parts added with updates would be a first.

I noticed , sort of xb the inital pay was 500k but then the "paid in" became 1 million and i had a penalty of 500k.. ibwas confused xb

Last night I actually managed to S-Rank with 4 OST chips and early game gear 3 times while I waited for a friend to beat him

During Swineburne's ambush, you actually could've 1 shot him if you accepted his deal, and then just attacked him. Ayre also sounds quite perplexed.

the PCA only arrives in force, and sets up in rubicon on chapter 3.. so i dont know, but yeah they do have control of institute stuff so probably :D
