Another nice thing about the Women’s North American title is it creates a sort of fast-track to the main roster. Take someone like Lola Vice who’s gotten over fast and is already showing talent well beyond her experience level, but doesn’t really fit into the current top title plans. Give her a solid run with the North American title to cement her as a big deal, and she’ll be ready for a call-up by the next Royal Rumble.
This might be something possible once RAW goes to Netflix next year. All the censorship is gone once this happens, so Netflix would be more than open to WWE having a serious Hardcore Division again.

There's a good and bad pair of reasons for why a women's midcard belt is only viable in NXT right now and not in any other promotion. NXT gets 4-5 women's segments per show. WWE main roster, TNA, and AEW get 4-5 per week across all their 2-3 shows. NXT is the only brand in major American TV wrestling that is capable of sustaining a women's midcard championship. The other shows need to catch up to that level for sure.

My main thought about speed is "whose push is this gonna be for?" Thinking about it through a kayfabe lens: the concept of this program is basically people training to be Goldberg & being able to squash any opponent very quickly, so naturally someone who ends up excelling on here would (barring any differences in rules outside of the time limit) have no reason not to translate that ability into main show matches, and no reason to not immediately challenge for & win a world title.

As a wrestling fan, I love championship belts and different kinds of concepts. I'm personally excited that the NXT Women's are getting a second championship in the North American Title, after the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles were eliminated there wasn't much opportunities for the ladies on NXT. The Speed Championship title is a bit of a unique one, since this one will be defended on social media it will make it even more unique. I wonder what other championship surprises will come our way soon, maybe Triple H might bring back some old titles lost from 20 years ago perhaps, or retired thanks to the old man erasing Trips previous good work.
I feel they are returning the original naming, RAW being World titles and Smackdown being WWE titles. This started with the return of the World Heavyweight Championship and recently the Raw tag titles being changed to the World Tag Championships. I haven't noticed Cody saying Universal in his promos lately and just calling it the Undistuped WWE Championship which was the name of the longest reiging title pre-merge with the Universal. Will have to wait and see on that if the Smackdown tag titles get changed to be WWE Tag Championship or not. With the speed it seems to be something to replace the gap of missing crusierweight title.
I think the future of the wwe main roster women’s division is to have two women’s titles on each show. Each brand gets their world title and one of the two secondary titles. You can have the women’s tag team division be a feature of one specific show and move all your tag teams to that show and have a secondary singles title be brand exclusive to the other main roster brand.
I love the idea of a women's secondary belt but I would've loved it being different from the men's in some way instead of just being a women's version of the men's belt. Even a different color than a white strap would've been nicer, something like a light blue strap to mirror the dark red/maroon of the men's north American.
IMO, there needs to be at least one storyline running parallel to every title, ideally two. And there needs to be something on TV every week to support every one of these. That way, when one title feud is over, the next contender is right there. Keeps things rolling smoothly without needing to do a tournament or gauntlet for a new #1 contender every other week. So, to support 5 belts there should be matches/promos/backstages/whatever involving a total of 10 different story lines each show. At a minimum. NXT runs things a little tighter than main, but thats a stretch even for them. What I'd like instead of the NXT NA titles is a cap on how long your title run can be in NXT. Say 90 days. After that, you vacate the title & become a free-agent for main. This gets top stars to move on, freeing up space for others to win the belts. It also gives those former champions a little bit of cachet when they do get called up.

WWE Speed is trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist, at least in terms of wrestling. You don't *need* a specific show/title/excuse for matches built around extreme speed to exist. Just put them on your show if you want them to exist. It's fine. Maybe it could even become someone's actual gimmick. The European Champion was the bronze medal of men’s wrestling in the Attitude Era. It great that the IC and US titles are closer in status to the world title, but the downside is, as a lower main event belt, guys who aren’t already popular or being fast tracked to the main event are unlikely to win it, this robs WWE of an important story telling device, a pure mid-card belt.

Also bring back the women's NXT TAG TEAM BELTS
Not enough tag teams in the women's division when it comes to NXT. That's the reason why they unified the tag team titles so the women that's holding the titles can defend them on Raw Smackdown and NXT.
If NXT is given more emphasis it could be used to develop and utilize the women better than any of the other shows can.
Speed just has a ceiling. This tournament could be exciting, and regardless of what it is, people like seeing new champions being born. But once the dust settles this show is either going to garner no viewership or it just becomes boring watching 3 minutes matches all the time.
Love the vids!
Or have they?
Angel vs Tyler Bate is the last match
❤
Could they cut it down to like five titles? At this rate, there'll be more titles than wrestlers
I'm still pushing for the woman's European championship
And why does Becky need a belt then
just make a intergender title either tag or singles, with lets say a handicap for a men having one arm tyed behind his back.
nah bad idea
I clicked off the second Corey Graves was mentioned.
How dare you Tom. I was not looking at that pop up in the corner! I may have been prepping a pot of tea though...
Love the idea of repping the Women in wrestling as deserving of the same attention as the Men, and Speed looks like it could be a novel concept, something that can give more performers a chance to play to their own strengths in front of an audience, never a bad move really.
Lastly, appreciate your work! Thank you good sir!
I wish they wouldnt have just repainted the NA title for the women. Make something new?
More women's titles is cool but they only have like 3 matches each show lol
Wren Sinclair??? Huh???
Its a good change and i just hope they return some old title like europian championship and light heavy weight championship title to spicy up things
Speed title is just goofy and gimmicky. Women’s midcard was much needed though.
Lmaooo hardcore belt only one we need back
