📜 Video Description 📜
Taking advantage of a bonus rakeback offer, Mark has temporarily moved up to the dizzy heights of 100NL on ipoker. How did his first shot at this higher stake game go and did he manage to keep it together? - Ігри
I vote for keeping getting Mark coached for FREE!!
Found Mark’s alt account haha😅
@@crzytimes1 😂
Hahaha
whenever Pete asked him what he thinks, I pause the video and prepare my answers before resuming, so yeah you are coaching all of us in a sense. thanks for the good content.
This is the greatest poker series on youtube as far as i'm concerned. Mark is a great student and Pete is an incredible teacher. I see alot of my thought processes in mark and i'm amazed at how psychological learning to play well is. No amount of studying is going to help without someone there to break you out of these habits. The lessons are exponentially more powerful in contrast to how not to think about poker. Kudos for this series!
Best of luck in your games Kyle!
I enjoy yelling in the forest, swinging from branch to branch, limp-min-4-betting, and "misclick"-min-raising my AA after posting dead off my 50bb stack. My heart is filled with pure joy when I stack QQ in this manner. In live games, when this happens, at showdown I shrug and shake my head. I make a little pouty sad face, wait for the guy to table QQ, then raise my eyebrows in mock surprise and look at him like "oh! you're *that* light? ONLY queens? you didn't flop a set like you should have when all the money went in pre?" Then I tap my AA on the table vertically, finally turn it over, then sigh and slooooowly, lazily, rake in the pot, and pretend to be texting with a confused expression on my face for five minutes before actually stacking the guy's chips. I enjoy bananas too.
The cover image for this video is Just NUTS. Love your humour Pete. Mark is super cool as Always
14:30 Only a seemingly minor thing but I love how Pete just sees it's a cooler vs aces and it's onto the next hand no worries. This is something that I need to keep incorporating into my game. I used to feel sick when I lost QQ or KK to AA and always thought how "unlucky" I was, now it's just a cooler and it's onto the next hand.
Pete is the Simon Cowell of poker training. Love it!
At 3:45 the point about having the diamond is wrong. If he had the queen of clubs, for example, then the queen of diamonds gives him a boat. The side card blocks a diamond out no matter what because hero boats up. We would rather the blocked diamond be an out to a boat rather than in our hand so that boat over flush become possible. The solver confirms the diamond slightly lowers ev.
I've started hearing Pete's voice in my head while I'm playing. Last few sessions I've gone to auto click some terrible bet and physically felt my hand stop as 'Pete' takes over and grabs the wheel.
Keep this site confidential , thank you :)
I really loved the baboon spotting discussion. 😂
What the heck boys, what happened in the kings hand at the end?!
Im binge watching this series like a Netflix original
i love it....im at 50NL and i would cut off my finger to get some help from you especially for free. Loved Grinder's Manual too and keep this going, put me on the list next
Look Pete, we know we shouldn't be results orientated.. but for the love of god what happened in the KK hand!
Love the series. Was genuinely excited when I saw 100nl shot
Another great episode. Count me as a vote for continuing this series!

Enjoying the series
Hilarious thumbnail, great jam on the end
Great stuff, keep going
great stuff again!
Belter of a series. Keep it going 👏
Thanks again guys!
Can someone explain the last hand more to me? The one where Mark 3bets KdKc, flop 5h5h3s cbets1/3, gets raised 3x and jams over the top.
I don't understand why we think villain is raising his overpairs here? Is it because they want to deny equity to our non-overpair hands (which are basically all gonna be two overs to their overpairs)? There's a lot of better hands that can call (AA-TT) and not many flush draws to charge. Also, if we jam, how often are those overpairs calling? We only have half a dozen natural bluffs (AK-AJ,KQ-KJ of hearts) which have a tonne of equity against them and then all those overapairs.
I think mark's thought process was ok for the J high flush draw, he said his hand has "a lot of useful fold equity", all he needed to do was finish it off with "and pool/villain will inadequately defend".
thanks, great video
what did villain have in the last hand???
Would love to see some more baboon spotting!
Good stuff
good stuff
When I was in my youth, I always wanted Gordon Ramsey to criticize my sexual performance as though I were cooking a beef wellington, but badly. Now, in addition to this desire, I would like Pete Clarke to be present, characterizing my performance as "a complete atrocity, an abominable action, a reprimandable, truly abhorrent action... but that doesn't mean it's not happening."
I cannot hide from you, I am a baboon.
3:45 I would think here not having the diamond is better on the paired board, bc we want villain to make a flush when we make a boat
Hi Pete got a question. 9m55s what You think about going all in vs that donk bet do You see it too as higher ev play ? What You think unkown weaker player/recreational would call there on averge as bottom ?Thanks for the series i really like it.
Would the kq not be the best jamming combo on the river?
On the J6dd hand...
I think people are way too passive in general and will fold river even to block bet when the flush draw comes in, so I am not sure if this is an exploit deviation, but I would definitely be betting on both streets.
Even though that isn't the best flush hand, trying to get any sort of money out of these nit lords is extremely difficult and you will have a hard time getting any value out of made hands.
Honestly like you said the button clicking fish that min raised the AA makes you sick, these nits make me sick.
Ffs what did villian have in the last hand when Mark had KK
what about shoving the river with KcQd?
KQ hand easy shove river, you have all the AA/AK/TT/44 and he usually raises flop or turn and you block KT, the hand that is most prone to xc flop and turn. The fact that you block the nut flush is kinda meh, you'd like him to b/f QT of diamonds but he could think he is too high on his range. So if he mostly has lower flushes he's screwed
The guy was a fish, don't try get a fish to fold a flush here! We don't need to turn a hand like this into a bluff
Why is 234cc ok to small bet or hybrid check shove, but 234hh is big bet?
wow
Can I ask how old you are Mark? I'm 57 and still learning lol
I’m 47 now Andrew, and still learning every day!
what site is he playing?
I would also like to know this. For reasons.
Playing on iPoker
In the last hand i dont agree with that SB has a big nut advantage and not even a range advantage. CO has sets, a2s and 67s which is not is SBs range. Maybe som frequencie of A2s is in SBs range. But i think you mainly check this board and bet like a 30% of ur range. The specific hand is most likely a mix of check or bet. More with Kh
What site is Mark playing at?
