I travelled to Mainland China again to celebrate Chinese New Year with my friend in her hometown (Meizhou). I got to meet her whole family and so many of her friends during my trip and made the most unforgettable memories. This is Episode 2 of the new mini series of my CNY celebrations in Mainland China. Squatting toilets and smokers.
Houses throughout Asia have squatting toilets. All old houses in my town Kuala Lumpur, home to the tallest twin towers in the world, have them. It's a legacy of the past. As they say, those who forgot the past have no future. And those who look down on people will be destined to be reborn as animal. As we Cantonese say, "dog will look down on people with their eyes". i.e. unbecoming of a human. 😂
Btw, they are now much ahead of/advanced than you guys and millions are more affluent than you guys. Should they look down on you? 😂
During CNY, everyone has to watch his/her weight 😂
