I love the hate this man's getting for speaking facts. Class manager
What hate is he getting and who from?
@@dalj4362 some of the comments going around
@icyveins21 So, a few comments is classed as getting hate? I've not seen any lol
@@dalj4362 then you not social media savvy mate. I'm not doing a back and forth with you about something you clearly don't notice.
I love the hate?
"Is this your first press conference Charlie"
Haha love him
I wish people would stop bagging him for not being in a top league beforehand. He grew up in a country where football(soccer as its called) is nowhere near the main sport. He had to do it the hard way by dominating in Australia, Japan and Scotland to get his big break. 5th in his first year with a club with a losing culture is pretty impressive.
5th is pretty impressive, but finishing 5th isn't anything unusual for this club, losing culture and all - these guys aren't Everton
He’s an actual professional and competitor and doesn’t want to just lay down and take it. Love it.
Theres a loser mentality embedded deep in Tottenham since before Mourinho even arrived...the team will walk off after a 1-1 draw with Brentford laughing and joking, patting each other on the backs....that's unacceptable, 2 points dropped, not 'yas 1 point gained'
Talksport is trash journalism totally clickbait and misinterpreting what he was meaning
Tottenham fans fear of Arsenal fans banter was greater than their ambition and desire for their club to win, even the strong possibility of achieving Champions League. If the fans had been behind Tottenham on Tuesday night very likely they would have beaten City.
They would have then arisen above the bitter depressing noise and chatter around them. Their manager is clever enough to get it, he knows that mentally it could have been the biggest boost ever for Tottenham going forward ✌🏼🙏🏼
Well said

@@familyread7889 have should have won before and it shouldn't have come down to it but for first sentence has some weight
Well said Ange
How can Gio get a knock when he played for about 10 mins.
Man is made of straw.
Sam you’re bang on mate! Spurs fans bottled CL qualification and camouflaged it by saying they wanted to fail to stop Arsenal. Stopping your rivals as a byproduct of success is a bonus. But to welcome failure just to dent your rival achievement is weak.
Such a shame he's at a small club with a small club mentality. He needs to move to an ambitious set up
Since beating Villa 4-0 villa spurs have won 10 points. 9 against burnley, luton and forrest. A point against west ham. And been soundly beaten in every other game.
I didn't care one way or the other against City because the players and manager haven't shown anything for months. Ange can get off his high horse.
Ahh Spurs fans, couldn't recognise a winner if it was sitting on their face.
Mistake the desire to win for arrogance, then whinge about losing a few games at the same time they're wishing Champions league away because they're too scared of banter from Arsenal fans 😂
Truly, deeply cooked.
Yet during all those games Ange wanted to win.
Yeah he's spitting the dummy a little. He's warning them. You've got no bargaining chips. Look at their last managers records
Spurs are a nothing club, ive said it for years, the biggest thing for their fans is finishing ahead of Arsenal, no league title since 61,not even close. I know the chairman of a Celtic supporters group,he can't speak highly enough of Ange,he reckons he'd be really successful in England at a proper club
He’s gone from a club that won’t tolerate losing to a club that celebrates it. English football is truly the worst kind of football
Yup Celtic would love to help Rangers win the league whilst they finish 5th regardless 👍
You are talking about one team in the whole league who celebrate mediocrity. The EPL is the greatest and easily most competitive league on the planet! Scottish teams would literally move their clubs here to a part of it and comments like that just prove you are only fueled by your own pathetic agenda rather than facts!
@@jn1703 Celtic wouldn’t celebrate losing a game of football.
@@JamesWilsonMD it has all the money and some fantastic players but it’s Mickey Mouse stuff, half and half scarves and stadiums full of tourists, the soul has been ripped out that league.
@@patismaximus94 Yes that's because all of the worlds best players flock to our league and we have all the best managers too! I love when the Scottish come at the EPL for being overrated when the SPL is a glorified pub league for all concerned! Sorry!

Big Ange's ex club Celtic has won more trophy's this week than Tottenham has in last 15 years
@@ScottishRoss27 they only have one team to compete with though, i'm not being disrespectful it's just a fact. 108 titles shared between them both almost goes back to the existence of football, so your argument is as pointless as your point.

You better get a clean sheet against the team botton of the league, if chelsea after their horror season finishes above spurs, he should resign
What about the home defeat to arsenal
It was an honest loss, unlike match fixing that happened on Tuesday. If it comes out Spurs' staff wanted them to lose, they should be sent to championship or league 1.
didn't have the supporters cheering on a loss like the pathetic fans they are
Imagine your own fans celebrating when you are losing. At home. 🤢
The problem Spurs fans don't understand, there is different losing when your supporters behind you and losing when your own supporters cheering the opposite
Arsenal dropped 2pts to spurs at the emirates. They’d be level on pts with City right now.
Very possible Tottenham finishes below Chelsea in the conference league. It is nice to see Tottenham fans admit they have no place in the champions league though.
that was gone before the game. spurs needed to win their last 2 games one against the champions and hope villa cant pick up a win in the last 2 games. plus uefa isnt so bad. spurs dont have the squad for Champions league. look whay happened to newcastle

It's almost a once in a lifetime event that your main rival's title hopes or champions league falls to you. Ange needs to remember how the fans are the other 99.9% of the time. Some of our early games against united and liverpool were as good as anywhere in the league.
Small club mentality
@oppsggfccchh The same mentality any true fans would have against their rivals. Seems like some people should watch MLS instead. 😂
Yes because true fans don't want champions league they'd rather have the proxy joy of a far better side finishing second. That's how terrified we are of banter ftom Arsenal 😂
Beyond pathetic.
Hope Palace smashes Villa.

@oOZingS 🥰 If reality is trolling 🧌 it's probably a sign you've gone off-road a ways back. But nah, seriously. We all want Spurs to succeed.
We can think what we want as supporters. I have been a bit too heavy oozing the troll sauce the last few days, just trying to suss people out. No hard feelings.
Ange is addressing a general glitch in club mentality, which is kryptonite to success, not slagging off the fans. But it was plain to see he doesn't understand or respect that Arsenal-fearingperspective.
He's only soeaking from the perspective of a man in charge with changing a culture, and then winning everything. He's doing this to tease the kryptonite to the surface and pop it like the gangrenous mega-zit it has been for years and years, festering on the rear-end of the Spurs.
I mean that's not debatable is it? You can't be that unlucky for that long.
It has been brought up in different ways up by several top class managers, and that zit is the common denominator, but the difference is Ange and them is that at least two of them thought Tottenham WAS the zit. Ange thinks it's just a zit, and it hurts to pop it, but it'll be a sizzling fine hiney once the stitches cone out.
Can't wait.
Bring on the summer garage sale, bring on 24-25.

He'll regret these comments because when results turn you need the fans on your side.
Fans that want their teams to lose to the treble winners. A win that could give the team the confidence to know they can beat the best
He didn't say all fans and sure, some fans at all clubs (except Chelsea) are hard to like. At Chelsea, all fans are hard to like.
If results turn that would mean we're winning and then the fans will be on his side. No one will care about this by the time next season comes around
@@FredEmberg4444 you're right but that's not how emotions work, you need the fans on side and he'll have lost a few with this. Look how klopp showed the Liverpool fans love and begged them to be better, rather than demanded it. They worship him.

When spurs lost Kane and finished 8th how did you think they would go? I swear ppl like you are ruining the game
So getting battered by Arsenal and 4 games in a row is ok and made him feel nothing? 🤔
As a Chelsea fan spurs fans were in the right to support city beating them. Anje doesn't understand rivalry
Ange is the biggest actor mate.
He should be on ‘Home & Away’
He understands the rivalry and how pathetic it is. Spurs fans should want to see their club achieve something rather than living for the failure of "rival" clubs. It's not just spurs fans either it's a lot of fans. What's the point in being a football fan if the only joy you get out of it doesn't involve the team you support but the failure of others. The toxicity in football is baffling and pointless.
If you seen him at Celtic, you’d know he understands rivalry pretty well

No, just Tottenham.
Fans who'd rather hang onto their dirty thoughts at a peephole in Woolwich than qualify for Champions league.
Man U fans, who remember winning, played Arsenal a week ago and it was a sane crowd, supporting their team, wanting to win.
Unfathomable to half of Spurs fans.
Win? What is win? What would I do with win? Can I fit it up my Arsenal?
Why didn't Spurs fans want Spurs to win? Because they're more afraid of Arsenal banter than they want to win.
It's not rocket science to see why Spurs can't belong up the top, no matter how big they get.
Too cool to try.
So why whinge about a manager if you have no desire to win anything?
The only reason you're upset is because he showed you the mirror.
