The Auckland Rail Scene (ft. DH 2845) ~ 22/07/2024 (HD)

Railfanning at Sylvia Park and Fruitvale Road stations on the Auckland suburban network. This was only the second time I had ever gone to Sylvia Park, and by chance, I saw KiwiRail's DH 2845 collecting some wagons from an industrial siding. The little GE U10B was fully overhauled earlier in 2024.
We'll also see the 'DFB' locomotives on the Northern Explorer and Te Huia passenger trains, and plenty of the 'AM' electric multiple units to boot.

There has been a time where I've seen a corn cab DH at Penrose, although I have absolutely no idea why was there
Also, one of my favorite locations to film trains (the Kingdon St crossing at Newmarket) has been ruined because the crossing has now been removed :(
