    It's super easy, and helps support my channel!
    I am excited to try out these new silicone breast milk storage bags with my second baby. We used mason jar storage with my first child which led to much heavier and bulkier transporting and storage. These bags are easy to use, leak-proof, and have a large storage capacity!

    How many bags did you find you needed. I am a stay at home mom so i only pump and store if i feel really full and need release till feeding time. I do produce really well in the beginning till my body regulates what my babies need. I hate to loose all that extra milk, but bags are on the pricy end to invest and want to know what i should work for. I then use for future oatmeal, or baby food.

      Hi Giannie! So sorry for the late reply!! I’ve been out of town and not checking my phone as often!!
      And I actually only have 3 of these Junobie bags and used them for milk my child would be taking that day! If I needed more, I just used my previous storage method which was little 4 or 8 oz mason bottles.
      I wish I had a better answer for you, I just didn’t invest in 20-30 bags to use for freezer storage bc I already had tons of the mason jars from my first breastfeeding experience.
      I also was a working mama when I used these last time around. I am now a stay and home mama and expecting baby #3 and will probably do more like what you described this time. Only pump when I need to between feedings and store that way for future baby food/etc.
      If this were the case for me, I’d prob start with 10-12 bags and just see how far that goes. It’s really going to just depend if you pump everyday between a feeding. Even just once a day would add up a lot of bags really fast
      That’s what I mainly just used them for daily milk storage with my last baby.. not long term freezer!
      Again I’m sorry that’s not much help! I do have some videos more on how I use mason jars for long term freezer storage if you wanted to look into that! It is more economical and still very, very safe like the silicone bags!

    Do you need to dry this before using? How? Can this be put in a steam sterilizer?

    • @AmmieHarris
      @AmmieHarris  2 місяці тому

      @@dashandsisi I let them air dry on the counter propped open before using them. And I’ve never had a sterilizer so I don’t have experience there!

    Did you find the attachment that lets you pump straight into the bag?

    • @AmmieHarris
      @AmmieHarris  3 роки тому

      I did but will admit I haven’t tried the adapters out yet! I linked them in the description box for you!
      I use these bags just for when we are on the go mostly not when pumping! But they are amazing!

    Silicone is prohibitively expensive for this storage application. Still, you opted to not use mason jars as storage ... and still use mason jars as baby bottles? I'm baffled.

    • @AmmieHarris
      @AmmieHarris  Рік тому

      No I actually did ( and still do) use mason jars as storage for breast milk.
      I only had 3 of these silicone bags and used them on-the-go to save space in diaper bags. It was not a full storage solution thing. I don’t know many family’s that do solely use these for milk storage
      I have many other videos sharing my pumping/storage routine and solutions, this was just one option I tried and shared about.
