Tight man. Nice video had my attention the entire video. This is how it's done
Thank you👍
I have a BNIB Original Climate control Bought it in 2007 along woth alot of other OEM interior rear parts and a sunroof panel.
cheers
Rob
you're sitting on money ! lol
Really nice video, man! I watch pretty much all your videos when they come out because I like the combination of explaining how you troubleshoot things and really think through the problem, how you are doing this with generally “regular” tools and not some Uber garage, but your CRX videos are the best because you take a little extra time on the little edits which are all awesome (and yeah, they are noticed!). You are clearly a busy guy, so thanks for taking the time to share 👍👍
Thank you for watching my videos! Its nice to hear my hard work and attention to details doesnt go unnoticed. Thank you brother
Bravo! I had my doubts at first but damn, what a great job you did. CRX love!
Looks great Jonathan! Well done you! ☺️ That 3D printing still amazes me! 😍
I'm huge into details so this was very satisfying to watch. It's not always easy and details take the longest sometimes but the results are sure nice. Great job.
Thank you wyatt , this video has been sitting in my computer for a while since i kept getting held up. The upside to that is it gave me time to iron out the video and make sure it came out the way i intended. The details can make or break a video
Thank you so much on taking us on this build voyage I can tell you work very hard on your videos. 👌👌
Thank you. I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment
Thank you for this awesome video of installing the 3d printed HVAC control!
Thanks for watching
3D printing will be the only way to keep old cars like this on the road. Cool, to see a completely new aftermarket industry pop up to fill a need. Excellent video, made with precision and care.
Thank you for watching. 3D print can do some impressive stuff. It turned out great
Thanks so much for taking the time to upload this tutorial/diy.
You're welcome, thanks for watching
I got recently a CRX ED9. By watching your videos I get so inspired to work on her! Keep the good work!
Good to hear! Enjoy the car 💪
Wow that is amazing, I need to get one of those for my Crx! Love the keychain too.
Thank you 💪 I see you noticed the keychain lol not many people spot that .
Excellent tutorial video ! I gotta do this soon to mine ……. This video will help for sure !
You're welcome. Thanks for watching
Dude, the new die-electric grease and ESPECIALLY the adjustment screw on the slider got me in the feels!! She's got to fell so good now!!!
Good work man!
Its so much better! Its crazy how something as simple as a climate control has me all geeked out as i drive. Its my first crx where the climate control isn't broken! I cant stop starring at it lol
Working on it right now with your video playing in the background 😄
Done! Works great, thank you for all the little tips 🙂
Nice! 👍
I've never seen this problem part available as a 3D printed replacement before. Killer detail and editing with this video! #Subscribed
I just found out about it myself. It fits perfectly and looks great!
Looks so good with all the lights working and crack free! Great video man
It sure does! Thank you
Love the detail and love old skool 3d print changing the game !
It sure it. It's amazing
Awesome job! I wish this was available 5 years ago when I had this problem, instead I just swapped an eg civic climate control in its place worked perfectly.
Thank you and yeah thats one way to fix the problem
That printed part is awesome. Great job on your repair.
It turned out very nice! Thanks for watching
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching
That's badass! The whole thing.... great video for sure!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you. It turned out great!
@@themechanic6117 yeah it did! Sharp bruh!
Hats off to you bud for creating very unique content with excellent shots and commentary.
Thank you Steve. This video has been in the making for a while. I got held up on many things but it gave me time to be able to work on the details and get the video to flow how i wanted it to.
That looks like alot of time and effort but totally worth it,looks great👍
It costs over $100 and i say its worth it considering the hard work that went into making this part! It turned out great
This is the first video I've seen of yours and i immediately subscribed and liked it. Your execution is perfect, great visuals, clear instructions, just overall great job and your climate control now looks new, amazing.
Thank you 👍💪 check out all my other crx and engine build content if you're interested
@@themechanic6117 i def will
omfg I just spent an entire week modeling and printing one of these to find out someone already made a better one. That's a really high quality looking print
Sorry to hear that. The one I have really is a great product
Out freaking standing!!! You inspired me to restore my gauges on my 30 and 40 year old cars...!
Well worth the effort 💪
Nice install! I wish they had the 3d printed piece when I repaired mine.. I used a steel plate on the frt with 2 sided tape after I "rebuilt" my broken unit with fiberglass and epoxy.. It was definitely a b***h to get out also! The frt plate covered all the cracks and made it look OEM again..
Great Job, thanks for the link to the 3D print site. I was going to use a faceplate but after seeing the video I'm def going to purchase this to replace mine.
Its a bit pricey but is the only way to go if you want it to look 💯💯
It turned out amazing man ! Well wroth the effort and time ! Im too lazy to replace my cracked unit lol I will someday
cheers
Rob
I'm super happy with how it turned out . while im driving i keep looking at it ! maybe its because ive never owned a crx without a broken climate control lol
Man that looks AMAZING! 😍
Thank you. Yes it turned out great!
Honda climate control bulbs are crazy expensive! Great video. Don’t know if I’d have the patience to get that done.
Great solution!
yes , it turned out great !
Great video
Thank you
wow amazing content!!👌🔥
Thank you. Be sure to check out the crx playlist
Love these types of videos man, you can really tell you took time and care into everything you did in it.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it
Certainly a fidderly job, but the end result was worth it. Nice touch on the stereo saying subscribe 👍
Lol i see you noticed that 😂it sure does look better now that its not broken.
Another banger thanks man
Thank you 💪
Thank you from France !!!
Thank you for watching 👍
That's a great looking part
Also, killer instinct was my jam
Yes its was nicely made! Killer instinct gold on N64 was the shit lol
Pretty sweet Jonathan 👍👍👍
Thank you . it turned out well 👍
Very nice.
Im happy with how it came out. Thank you for watching
Dope bruh!!
Thanks for watching 👍
ORDERED the 3D printed climate control came in less than a week fits perfect and have it in and works great......thanks for the heads up...... but didn't get the keychain....
Great to hear. Mine still looks great, I love it
This is a great video! Very clear on all the steps. Question tho.. Do you have part numbers for the correct light bulbs you ended up getting?
Sorry i dont. I cant confirm the ones i bought because i havent tried installing them yet
Seems like you didnt take any of your own advice with keeping your finger on it, so it doesnt go flying 😂 love the content especially the CRX content. God bless and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years man 💪🏼
The voice is me from the future, explaining things so others dont make the same mistake! 😂😂 thank you for watching
@@themechanic6117 I'm always watching and waiting for the next video man. Waiting till 12 for my birthday to open some gifts I got and I'm drinking a couple beers.
Happy birthday! Enjoy those beers 👍💪🎂
@@themechanic6117 I appreciate it bro you have a good night looking forward for the next video.
Thank you! Theres always plenty of crx content. It just takes time
What do you use to remove the glue from the stickers?
Awesome work! Congratulations!
Nice work! I don't think I have the patience to do this.
Its not too bad of a job
Hahahahaha interesting song on the radio. I can tell you put some work into editing this video, nice
😂😂thank you. Yeah this video took some time to put together
Where did you get the small bulbs and do you recall the part number.......love the vid gonna order one of those
One of my fears...bubble wrap....endless bubble wrap!! Thanks Jon.
😂😂not sure who would notice that lol
@@themechanic6117 great bubble wrap editing!
Hey hey Thomas!!
@@themechanic6117 pull it out again to change the light bulbs!!!
I'm still waiting for the bulbs to come in.... Snail mail lol
Looks good dude!
Thank you
@@themechanic6117 np im doing the accord swap on one of mine and repaired my other one with carbon fiber lol keep these gems on the road
Nice! I've heard of that mod using the accord part
@@themechanic6117 yea its much stronger imo hopefully i will have a video soon on it
Hi there and great video, very detailed and you didn't miss anything. Thank you so much. One issue though. The weblink to purchase the 3D printed fascia does not work.
Thanks for watching. Just like 2 days ago i clicked the link and it still worked. It seems like the website is down. Theres nothing i can do about that. If theres a new website ill update the link
Awesome video! Just one constructive criticism: the auto-focus jumped around a lot and made the video a little bit difficult to watch. Is there a way to make your auto-focus less jumpy? Maybe you could disable it altogether for shots that are going to be sped up. Regardless, I enjoy your videos a lot. 👍
Thank you for watching, the camera was new to me at the moment of this video. Sorry for that issue, I noticed that also while editing. I mainly stick to manual focus now .
@@themechanic6117 oh shoot! I didn't realize this was a 2 year old video. Sorry about that! I'm binging your content at the moment and didn't think about when the video was released. Sorry about that!
No problem. I appreciate you watching and glad you're enjoying the videos
That the same one I got two best fix ever
It's definitely worth the money!
its been two years. did you ever change the bulbs? and how is the 3d printed part holding up?
Thanks man !! I ordered one. What sizes are those bulbs ? I know there is one different as well.
The larger bulbs are T4.7 / T5 neo wedge bulbs. The smaller bulbs i still havent figured out what they are .
Finally back with the crx video follow my Instagram page Ek_disciples
No more site………. I can’t even get this part??
Great video! I would like to buy the part you used to repair the climate control. I understand it comes from Poland. I sure would appreciate the email address to buy one! Regards Alan
I updatedmy description onhow you can buy the parts
Hey, just fyi, the link to the 3D part doesnt work for me. Idk if it works for anyone else
Message Lukasz Mlost on messenger or Facebook. He's the guy who sells them. His website is down but you can buy through him.
Where can I buy the housing I clicked on all of your links and it don’t and me to the right place
May i ask where did you buy the 3d print climate control? I was lucky to buy a second hand a couple years ago but they don't come by very often. my hats of to you recovering the crx, i have own mine for 20 years.
I provided a link in the description to the website. Thank you for watching and hold onto that crx 👍💪
thank you ,don't Know how i missed the link lol.crx won't go anywhere to many memories and sentimental value money can't buy.
Wow what a difference, and where the hell did you find a CRX .? Does buttons were like the ones I had on my honda prelude, I really miss that car...it had the flip up lights 🥲👍
Someone in Indiana was selling it. Its a massive difference. This is the first crx ive had that now doesnt have a broken climate control lol
Where can i find this 3d printed clinate control
damn i wish i knew about this sooner
what size where the light bulbs?
I'd like to get normal bulbs, I hear that LED will cause bluish lighting. I think there are 3x T5 bulbs, and 1x T4 bulbs, and 2x T3 bulbs if you have the A/C button. Got any tips for bulb purchases ?
Any bulb model numbers for me 🙏🏻 ?
Sorry I haven't been able to find the correct bulbs myself
Your suppose to bend the metal tabs on the cage to remove the climate control assembly.
cheers
Rob
hmmm did not know that . ive been seeing your comments popping up but every time i click on them it says comment deleted . i just found all your previous comments in my "spam" section and i had to approve all of them . thats why I have been replying to you. youtube thinks youre a bot on my channel.
@@themechanic6117 maybe cuz I have no videos ? Its messed up.
Dont know. It is messed up. I have to approve this comment also. And i can only do it on my pc. Dont see options for it on my phone. So im not ignoring your questions, its just UA-cam
Does that link still work for you by any chance I tried to click it and got an error.
I updated my description on how you can contact the seller
Do you think this ends up looking better than putting those metal faceplates over the cracked original casing ?
100% better, it looks factory. I'm not a fan of those faceplates
@@themechanic6117 thanks, I think that makes sense. Ordering now ! :). Will be back to this video when it gets here.
Would a heat gun or hair dryer help on those sticker parts?
On low heat im sure it would help
Well played dude. Would love to get ahold of a printed housing
Sadly your site is not secure at all
It's not my site. I don't think his site is even working. You have to contact the guy via Facebook messenger
@@themechanic6117 thanks. Have 3 crxs one being a jdm sir.. all have cracked controls. Think the later was my ex breaking it though.
im now so grateful most of that in my car is mechanical... still a mad video tho
Thanks for watching! 👍
Hi, where can I download the 3D model?
I don't think there is one. The maker of it just sells the part ,not the 3D model
Who prints this and how much?
I just updated the description. There's a link
Who did the 3d Printing ?
Looks like the part is no longer available the link provided above doesn't work.
You'll have to msg the creator on Facebook messenger . It's
Lukasz Xrc
Is there a cad model?
I don't think the maker of this gives out that information
How does this do in heat?
So far so good
Where i can find the 3d map ?
You'll have to contact the person who made it. I doubt he'll give out the map since he's selling these products
@@themechanic6117 It would have been fine, so people who live far away and cannot pay hundreds of dollars in shipping costs, we could do it, although I understand that it will charge for the map
How much and where do I buy one at?
Check the description of the video
Is this website still running?
Don't think so. Messenger the maker on Messenger. I left his info in the description
"Screw it!" Then proceeds to use screw driver... You're a Don Jon lol
I'm a man of few words 😂😂
try bending the tabs out of the way of climate control then you can just pull it straight out. :). or cut the steel band that runs under climate control and you can just drop it. to pull it out . great insite of the 3 d printed one. keep up the awesome content. ig 88_89_crx
Thanks for the tips. I may try one of those when pulling it out again
Who printed it
Read the description
