I think it is pretty cool what you have done. You saw a need and figured out how to fill it. Very impressive.
Ok I need one!
This might be the last chance to get one for about 4 years.
something you should probably point out more often is that because of how quiet they are, they're also safer. you can use these around your family, without having to worry about kids or dogs getting close without you noticing. combined with the open cab, you know exactly what is going on around you, making it just safer to use and be around.
That’s true! We also find that you can very easily communicate with people around you. You don’t have to shout over the engine or use a handheld radio.
u got it before the 10% tariff. U saved big time.
You look like a proud Papa with a whole litter of mini excavators.
Love these videos. Hope you build out this business and keep posting videos for us
I hope for a future video where you explore what the process (or possibility) would be to have some of your Nesher equipment sourced, manufactured, and assembled in the US with time and import/shipping/tariff costs considered. I think it would be enlightening for a lot of viewers to show how little of even the necessary part manufacturing is even possible in the US, and possibly inspires some people to start US companies to fulfill some of the needs.
Good to see the company thriving.
Nice video and nice business idea. 🙂
…and it's nice watching how things have grown since that fun boat video. 😄
I’ve been watching your channel for a while. I have no idea whether your equipment would be suitable for my homestead situation here in New Zealand, but I’m watching closely for ideas - and general enjoyment. You’re doing a great job, both promoting your company, and educating on the equipment available etc.
I am living in Dunedin, last year a local builder repave our driveway, he bought two small e-diggers from China, he was very happy with them and planned to buy more, he used to rent from Hirepool.
I'm so glad you are doing this. I've been thinking about buying this type of equipment but was worried about the buying process from overseas. I'll let you know when I'm ready to buy. I'm also interested in a mini crane to lift trusses up to a story house. Maybe one day you will sell does too, lol.
Hey Mica.
Your knowledge and understanding of these machines are awesome
As a new subscriber, I really enjoyed this video on your container full of electric equipment for your company, i.e. Nesher!
I liked how you went over the basic use of the front-end loader.
Well done, Sir!
Dude, you must have a giant strapping collection by now.
I do it all for the free straps
strapping*
He's d Jay Leno of Chinese ev vehicles
@@EbikeSchool can you give us a link for these pls
Standby for tariffs on these !!!
I thought that too
It sounds like your business is really fulfilling a need. The electric motors make sense for this. I love that you are providing this option.
Great job. Always enjoy your kids.
will be needing one sent to Canada in a few years!!
One other very big factor for electric is low vibrations. Vibrations, as you probably know can be extreme and shake everything to pieces causing bearing failures, bulb failures, lights and panels dropping off and metal fracturing through the constant stresses.
Congratulations on your new business venture.if anyone can do it, it's you! Best of luck.
I like the expansion to the Nesher lineup 👍
I would be concerned with the placement of that charge plug on the back of the machine. Usually the back of the machines get scraped up because someone gets up against a tree and churns the machine and rubs the paint off the back. It would be nice to see that charge connector recessed inside the machine a bit to protect it
Well done! They are already worth 10% more than yesterday
The way I remember ISO is:
Left: Swing and Stick
Right: Boom and Bucket.
SS, BB. Nice easy, short..
I love your channel, I need transport badly. Watching from Australia
If you choose a good factory in China, establish a relationship and have quality control processes in place, it is definitely possible to get reasonably good quality products made there. The local support is very important, so I think that your business model works well for the end user. Hope it goes well for you.
Another advantage of electric is that it can sit much longer between uses. You don't need to winterize and if you need to run it for 2 minutes after it's been sitting a few months that much better on the system for electric vs gas or diesel
Trickel charge?
@Barskor1 might be good to keep it plugged in but a good battery shouldn't lose too much charge when sitting a long time, even a year
@@Barskor1 Lead acid deteriorates when it spends time under 100% charge, so trickle charging them is used to extend their life. Lithium batteries deteriorate when they sit above 80% charge, so they work best with no trickle charging, just periodic charging before they go completely flat. If you always have your lithium batteries fully charged they won't last as long as ones that sit at say 50% charge and only get charged up when you're about to use them. And even then if you never charge beyond 80% you'll add many more years to their usable life.
@@Berkeloid0 Thank you!
I have imported machines from China since 2000 and my experience is that many are reasonably priced but the machines are usually not very smooth in their movements, which you can also see in the video.
Hello. I know you've heard that saying, I've been watching your channel for a couple of yrs. In my case, I've been viewing it since ce you purchased your truck. I appreciate the education on the how to. Keep doing g what you do, and I'll keep watching
Are you considering doing a mini electric skid steer? That would be awesome!
Yes, electric is the way to go if you are working in a enclosed environment. No deadly exhaust and minimal noise 👍
Yeah……I dig holes indoors almost daily.
@@chadhelms4907 No need for the sarcasm - there are plenty of industries where they use excavators to pick up and move things inside large warehouses. Scrap metal handling, municipal waste collection, etc. Then there's any sort of underground construction, mining, etc. They all work in enclosed environments and have to specially handle the fumes so as not to suffocate the operators, which is one less thing to worry about with electric machines.
This is very true, we’ve been contacted by several people doing work in basements or reno/demo work in large buildings, etc.
@EbikeSchool I work for a contractor that does a lot of excavation of trenches in hospitals. These battery operated excavators are invaluable to the labor's in this field.
Since you had a loader you could have piled up a dirt ramp in front of the container to make unloading less exciting.
I just saw the Electrek video with your recent Chinese factory tours. Any chance Nesher will begin importing some of those cargo tricycles with the cab & steering wheel?
I love the videos. TY
Thanks for watching, glad you like them!
electric should be the first stop on any farmers check list, with solar arrays they become near free to run
Farm use is probably more than the light duty machines can do,but I'm betting if you are a off grid homesteading person who are going to just use them for a project and stop for a while they would be ideal
Thanks Micah! What a dream to have land like that to play on your tools" Grats Juan P. !!!
Amazing, Micha!
I definitely think going for LFP batteries would be a better option. Then the batteries could last for 20+ years and thousands of cycles. Likely cheaper as well.
He imported better wheeled excavators than his own. With a rotating head and a finger to pick things up. I will achieve great success with it. Good luck.
Love it! May your Eagle soar to new heights!
You also forgot that with gas/diesel you need to maintain the fuel system. If you leave fuel in the system unattended for several months it will go bad and even if it still works it will either immediately or over a few uses will clog your system and damage other parts.
Always intresting to follow a container unboxing ;)
This is excellent
great stuff, love the mission
I love your channel.
If the quality is good enough, I would buy one. Cheap, useful, convenient, and so on.
I want one of those excavators! I don’t need one or have a use for one, but I want one, lol. I would have liked to see some of the attachments being used like the auger. Thanks for the video!
Have you considered machines with a lead acid forklift battery? The extra weight could be useful.
They are so big though 😮
Presumably the lower capacity (compared to lithium) and added weight would significantly reduce the runtime?
Why not using lithium iron phosphate?
Batteries would be cheaper per kwh and life cycle is 5-8times longer. Those machines would last 20-25 years on the same batteries.
Probably makes the machines too light. Lead acid batteries are equal parts ballast and energy storage. Trail builders will add 1000+ lbs under a gas mini ex to keep them stable off camber.
@@dingusflingusso, more kWh LFP, similar price, same weight
Another great video, good to see your lineup expanding. Any chance there will be electric skid steers (tracked) in the future?
~100 watt-hours per hole is pretty impressive. Have you looked at lithium iron phosphate cells? The power density is lower, but they should still offer decent runtime on such efficient machines, and they're rated for thousands of cycles, with lower fire risks. 🤔
I'm still waiting on China to make an electric mini skid steer.
They probably do. Been hoping he would add that to the Nesher collection soon enough. Would be great for all these landscaping companies.
I've been looking at several options for mini-skid steers, but it's hard to find something that I can get the price down to a reasonable amount without major sacrifices. Most of the options I'm finding end up working out to more expensive than the NESHER L880, which has a higher weight capacity and is more comfortable to use. So it's tricky to justify it only on the smaller size, if it ends up being less capable and more expensive.
@@EbikeSchool Have you also considered full-size ones as well? Wondering if you've run into a similar problem there. With a full size, at the very least, you are paying for the more compact size, better maneuverability, and lower weight than something like the L880.
@@EbikeSchool Almost forgot, thanks for looking into it and doing all this with the EV equipment like this. Really glad to see someone do it as it's a very much needed thing. Much respect to you.
Great for Herb farmers. Have u seen those wheel kits to move containers?
Yes! We use EZYwheels to move containers and it’s a breeze
Nice closing credits tune! Ha ha
"tank mode" hell ya!
Haha it sure is fun… though the tank steer can do a number on a nice lawn. I tend to make wide gentle turns to go easy on the turf.
I love ebikes! Here in the Denver Colorado area, there quite a few trails that will save you from having to ride close to cars. They also allow ebikes to travel at the car speed limit if the can.
You need to add a big dawg skid steer and I’d buy it
Just ran across your video, im very excited to see what you have to offer. A question though...i have a gas chinese mini ex and besides being noisy and smelly, it is super jerky when running it. I usually run it at half throttle to reduce the jerkiness. Are your elecs jerky as well? They look to be very similarly designs besides the engine. Thanks!
By jerky, do you mean jerky walking, or boom maneuvering? The walking is pretty smooth, but if you abruptly stop the boom while lifting it up, for example, the whole machine will rock back and forth once or twice from the force. So you still need to be smooth on the inputs to avoid those kinds of jerking reactions from sudden stops/starts.
This might be the fist time I enjoyed watching an ad.
👊
I wish I had a homestead so I would need one of these machines, looks fun to use. I am trying to figure out how to get a trike. Can you do an update your trike videos? I don't trust myself to be on a bike.
What about an electric Skid steer. I really believe a skidsteer is the best machine for most application thats not digging but it does have attachments for that.
We find that articulating wheel loaders are better than skid steers for us. They are more intuitive to drive and don’t damage lawns, though they aren’t quite as compact as a skid steer. Each has its pros and cons, of course.
John Deere with their software license locked machines will hate your products 🤫
First time I see your videos I love I am retired I spend a lot of time at the park with my baby 3 year old pug February 2 2025 I am a new subscriber thank you very much keep doing what you do the best Happy New Year
Hey. Just curious how the whole Tarrif situation might be affecting your business and costs. Any updates on that?
Never a good thing for buyers when prices are forced up at the factory level and then retailers need to potentially pass along those costs to the end-user customer. Tariffs are not paid by the country on which they are levied. The costs are almost always get passed along to the consumer. We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops. Thanks for asking
Very cool to watch your podcast.......even i am not interested to buy one, but cool stuff to watch.....so i can talk to friends about it......thanks man
Nice little business you and your Dad have going there. 👍
Those are nice equipment. Are mini homestead E tractors on the horizon?
New tarrifs aside, have you shipped to Canada yet? My dad would love one of these machines for work around his property.
You might have a future customer here, cause you answered just about everything that I was thinking about, but if I get one of those units I'd prefer that the boom cylinder was on the top side and the thumb also was hydraulic so I can get ahold of logs and put them on my sawmill.
You can still hold logs with the fixed thumb, you just move the bucket instead, as opposed to leaving the bucket stationary and moving the hydraulic thumb instead.
Can't wait to pick up my L1400! See you Monday!
Nice closing credits tunes!
Thanks! I put the song up as a video here in case anyone like its ua-cam.com/video/UoIJuUVxhec/v-deo.html
You make me wish EU was part of USA, man.
I should buy a full crate of different dirtbikes
sounds like you have more money than sense.
Sheeeee!! Edwin on E-bikeschool lol. Such a different vibe here than your content. Snowed in was sickkkk. Love you man. I shared your reaction about that Blackhawk ride. Man what an experience for a lifetime
How will the tariff war affect your business of imports from China?
How long does it take to charge?
9kwh / 2kwh = 4.5 h
I come here to learn what is possible, what works, what doesn't etc. in the whole EV spectrum. You deliver! I also come because you and your dad are just regular folks, making a living, and being good people. I think most of the people on this channel appreciate your honesty, and the see through nature of your business.
I hope we can keep all the politics out of this channel, as I come to learn, nothing more.
This feels like an ad now, not just a review.
Wow thanks for sharing another great and informing video. 👍😎👍
What about terrain? It looks like it needs smooth level terrain to operate. My acreage is pretty lumpy with some rock.
Same issue for any micro excavator. You would need to evaluate the applicability based on your knowledge of your property
They need to make a dual motor scooter with a seat
Yes more just in time:)
How much did you pay on tariffs compare to the last time?
You should get one of these to Andrew Camarata
7:11 - is this a _male_ CEE 17 plug used to connect the charger to the battery? What is the voltage used to charge the battery?
Way cool !!
That isn't any extension cord plug i recognize, where are you from?
Informative.
mini skid steer next?
Now build your own battery package and a solar off grid recharge trailer like Edison motors, and you will have a product filling a niche nobody else is filling
I know this seems like going backwards but I'll be moving to Thailand do you have a way to effectively in cost-effectively ship ship to Thailand?
You say the price is $19,600.
Is that what you pay or is that what you charge when you sell one?
If that's your cost how much do you sell them for?
sounds like its time to expand the solar system for all this
Is the thumb an option? Looks like it shipped with it?
Thumb is an option
Still love my diesel.
What are you going to do about the new tarrifs? Just raise the prices or find a manufacturer in the US?
There are no US manufacturers for these types of electric machines. We are studying the implications but we may be forced to raise prices if we can’t absorb all of the price increase on us.
How do you become a dealer or authorized retailer? What about certified mechanic?
Or a certified technician
We were trying to do the exact same thing here in Alaska. Git caught up medical problems. I wld have been just ahead of you on the Loaders. Hoping to buy at least 2 Loaders and 2 Excavators. Yes of course they will have motors. Im no longer a fan of Diesel engines for small equipment after seeing your Machines. My wife and I have been watching. We want to do the same business here also. Thanks much for the Info and All you do to Improve the Worlds Economy and Clean air and Soils. May your Family Be Blessed.
Good on you for making it infinitely easier to purchase and maintain these machines.
Why electric? You answered that perfectly. Any one of those reasons is enough to go electric. Combined they are a no-brainer. Sadly those obsessed with money have prevented Humankind from having better tools and products like these that are friendlier to us and the environment while performing better.
Constructicons unite to form DEVASTATOR! 😂
How fun and where are you located I want to play and I am serious that's a big kids playground in a container
i wanna see if the arm can pick up a big block v8 cast iron engin
I actually have one of those. But no need to pull it right now
