To me at the end, Tord sat there looking at them for a long time. It felt like he was looking back at them one last time before he has to leave again.. it gave me the idea that Tord cut their ties so they wont be associated with him anymore. And the symbol, you can see it on plane in "fun dead" and even the NØR5K1 (plate on his car) on the same plane. The symbol appears in "the end" multiple times, but most importantly, inside of the robot. So yeah

Sorry for taking so long with this one. Life's been busy and I had to scrap a video for a number of reasons. It's still sat on my hard drive, may release it properly some day. I think he wanted to save the robot until he had fleshed out his army, so he left to make it easier. He came back to get it it once he was done, and just like he had planned he had something to fall back on when the plan failed. If it weren’t for him leaving the red army would have ended very prematurely
From what I can tell, Tord either keeps changing his mind about what hes going to do to the house and his old friends. Or planning his ultimate attack on them. Tord gave himself the time to watch the same movies with Edd and Matt, gave the time to go on a adventure. But then decided to finally cause the ultimate attack only to get interrupted. Gets angry at his old friends, and right after that. They go to buy ice cream. And they most likely spent atleast half an hour at the store. But then suddenly, Tord decides to run back home. Its as if, hes too scared to cause the ultimate attack. And keeps attempting to have some final moments in the house with his old friends. And even go on adventures with his old friends, before he shows his evil side. When he hit Matt, he didn't have much care at all. But when he was with Edd, its as if he wants to stick with Edd more than anyone else. He caused Tom to leave, so that he could be with Edd. But at the same time, he knows that Tom was the person who was the most sensible and logical out of the friends. Which supposedly makes it easier for his attack on the house and his old friends. Another thought I had, was that Tord was on a given time limit. And had to get it over with as fast as possible, but at the same time. Want to have final moments with his friends and his old home. Tord's true motives are completely unknown to this day, so we don't really know what Tord's thoughts were towards the entire ordeal he caused.
My theory: Tord Started the project when he started building things, he slowly started to become more and more evil, which effected this robot of his, giving it weapons and such. He then left because he didn’t want the others to catch on but met Paul and Patryk. They all bonded and helped build the giant robot together by sneaking in while the others where having fun. He was building stuff on the plane when it crashed so he grabbed a parachute and deployed. He noticed his bounty and decided to go back and get the robot so he could take over the world, but failed. Paul and Patryk saw the robot be destroyed and ran over to hell Tord. But they saw his arm and robot one, knowing he wanted a replacement. So he healed up his arm and grabbed the stuff to fix the robot and replace Tords normal arm.
I would look at Eddsworld What Now? because, it had some explanation for why Tord acted the way he did. Even if it’s fanmade, it’s still pretty interesting.
Its definitely interesting, because leading up to the two The End episodes, the first and second options would make the most sense-- but with how tord acted so independent in those final two episodes, his waiting to retrieve the robot despite being part of the red army for so long, it all works super well with the third option!! i will have to think more abt this...

My Theory: Tord met Paul in Moving Targets, and decided to join the enemy base. So before he left he was already working the robot for like- weird purposes, then left to the enemy base, not wanting to take the robot with or Edd and the others will be suspicious. Also, he then meet Patryck (explains why in Fun dead you see Tord's shadow plus his hair if you look closely with Paul and Patryck, plus you see his car number on the plane, also, You see Paul in the back of Tord's wanted paper, and finally see him dropping the plane with Paul and Patryck.) So in conclusion Tord was never sane since Moving Targets.

So i did the math Basing this off of the video the end (complete) Subtracting the intro (46 seconds) the video comes out to about 18 minutes and 21 seconds long. 18 x 50 equals 900. As in 900 minutes (15 hours) 21 x 50 equals 1050. As in 1050 seconds (17.5 minutes) Rounding 17.5 up to the nearest minute gives us 18 minutes. Based on the average life span of an adult male. (72 years) I may be wrong but I estimate Tomee bear has spent roughly 0.2503 percent of his life watching the end. 😃
At first I thought it would be absurd that Tord met Paul and Patryck on the hill but after you explain it it actually made sense to be honest I feel like that's the correct answer but everyone can have different opinions on what really happened in the end episodes
I have a theory, Tord being addicted to hentai. Potentially made a mecha robot in secret. And when he returns, he works it into a super fighting robot. Due to him sneaking around in the End. (Also, in space face, Paul and Patryic can be seen in the begging for a moment so they may also be clones.) He needs to finish. This is all I can think of. Also theory 3 can be debunked by The Snowgre. Paul and Patryck's plane has Nor5ki(Tord's license plate) on it.
My theory is that Tord was on his way to the big city when he met the two and decided to join them. He spent some time with them, fighting and bonding, until he remembered his robot, which was built in separate parts over time as a passion project. He left without a trace, prompting his new comrades to make wanted posters. They saw the robot and immediately thought it could be Tord, and it was.
Edd was friends with Paul in real life, and he was a consistent background character, and Paul was involved in Eddsworld a lot, being the lead animator for Part 1 of The End. So it’s just a way of saying, “We appreciate and love you, Paul!”
I honestly think that Tord already knew Paul and Patryck before he left, because if I recall correctly, in the PowerEdd eddisode during Edd's flashback, we see Eddsworld character as kids, and Tord and Paul are RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER... Also, I know that this is a stupid question, but who else cried during that one scene in The End Part 2? You know, where Tord is sitting on the edge of the cliff and regretting his mistakes? A potential explanation for Theory 3's flaw: They had met before The End, but Tord just saw the duo- and all his men- as just soldiers, and nothing more. After the robot explodes though, that's when he decided to become friends with the two soldiers closest to him.
Back after a few months because I thought of something that somewhat makes sense, so just lend me your patience real quick. So we all know that there must have been a period of time where Tord had devoted his time to making this robot, but when? You could say that he had really never left, however that theory should be ruled out by the fact that if he really did stay behind, then why wouldn't he have just used the robot sooner? Why bother telling Edd that he was returning? From what we know about Tord he's not stupid, obviously smart enough to create a robot numerous stories high. So then why would he bother waiting, for suspense? For what? There's also the theory that he had made it beforehand and left to "make it in the big city", though otherwise we know nothing. This particular theory is closer to my thoughts, though it does not exactly fit in with it, nor does it dive deep enough into details, so here's what I've got for you: Tord has always shown chaotic tendencies, traveling all the way back to the first eddisode. He shows a clear love for guns, weaponry, the army, murder, and the list only goes on. I think that during the time Tord had been in Eddsworld, he had been plotting the Red army, as well as the giant robot. Think about it; he's always given clear interest of things like these, and does it really seem farfetched for him to have planned and thought about the army, the robot, world domination, and overall communism and power? If anything, the idea of a robot probably got him hooked onto weaponry and armies, and he probably had been starting to plan it out since he was a late teenager. I believe that Tord formed the idea of taking over the world, making a robot to help, and create his own army all before The End 1 & 2. He most likely decided that the first, and most important thing to do, was to make a secretive room. Tord couldn't just make a big fucking robot out in the open, otherwise questions and suspicion would be provoked, so instead his first plan was to make a personalized secret base, which was located in no other than Edd's house. He created the lever-activated room, then began to create an underground bunker of some sort for the robot to take place in. So from there, he created the robot in almost any free time he had, all while keeping suspicion levels low, and sliding materials under the radar. Once he had finished the first real part of his plan, he now had a bigger challenge to face; making an army. Now making a robot is no easy task, but to create an army? That's not an everyday ordinary thing, you know. And it's typically not for good intentions, either. This meaning he couldn't tell his friends, there would be no way they wouldn't catch on, considering his public malicious intentions. So it would have just been easier for him to lie and say he wanted to "make it in the big city", taking part in the last time he is seen for years. During the time he is gone, he begins to realize that world domination is no easy task, and he would probably need a bit of help with his overall idea. So, upon meeting a particular set of friends, he discovers that they too share a familiar thought process with him. They may not have known which direction to begin in, but with Tord they could now achieve their dreams. Tord agreed to help them get to where they want if they obliged to being his bodyguards and overall be his servant-ish. They agreed and from there on he had now formed what I believe to be an accidental friendship. Though from what I can remember, Eddsworld never actually shows that Tord, Paul and Patryck are friends, however I still like to imagine that they started out as people with similar minds and hunger for power, and ended out forming a tight bond. So now, Tord begun his work on creating an army. I suppose he had to purchase land of some sort out away from everything, and start making bases and creating roles and getting people to join. It would have been a tedious but patient thing to do, to gather people and put them to work on an army that may never really make it. However after a few years, he most likely had gotten to a point that he had appreciated. In what I envision, Tord had managed to create bases, assign roles, recruit people and make his army known, get in a bit of trouble with the law, and keep his dream in clear view all during the time he's away. And now that he was pleased with himself, he figured it was about time to take back what was his. So, Tord called up Edd beforehand and stated he were to be "moving back in", and not long after returned. He took a bit of time to enjoy bullying Tom while also hanging with his friends, which I honestly think he privately missed, whether he admits it or not. Tom probably was automatically suspicious of Tord, being they were already at each other's throats to begin with, so Tord needed to get him out of the way. He basically just pissed off Tom until he couldn't take it and left in an angrily manner, giving Tord the perfect opportunity to take control. He stayed watching a movie with Edd and Matt for perhaps a quarter into it, then stated he had to to something, never specifying what. He returns to where his old room was, where all his dreams were accomplished, and gets only a button away from getting what he wanted; then Edd and Matt screw it all up. They toy with practically everything in the room, pressing buttons that make Tord aggravated, however he draws the line when Matt goes to press his button (Tord in that moment: It's my turn to press it D:
I've been so fascinated by the concept of Red leader and Paul and Patryck. Personally, I think that I think Tord was "evil" before he left because of when bumped into Edd in moving targets and made him press the button that launched that into the enemy base (also he had that jetpack and its just like how??why?? lol) and also since he has pictures of Paul, Patryck, him, and some other x'ed out person that kind of looks like the blonde guy in moving targets in his secret lab in The End. I'm still looking for clues, but also there was another picture of Paul in Edd's house in Trick or Threat so maybe Tord wasn't friends in secret with him or Edd knew him?? idk abt that I think the animators might've left it there for fun but I'm still looking. Theory: Tord wanted to betray them in the first place when they met because of a "cool trend" that was going around at the time they met that was about revenge and robots. Tord had known Paul and Patrick ever since childhood and they loved army talk. In 2008, Tord finally finished the robot after 1 year of 3am work. He finally wanted to fuffil his dream and create the red army. He packed up all his stuff but the robot wouldnt fit so he dug it underground the house. During the final scene of Paul and Patrick helping Tord, Paul and Patrick drove to RA base and then Tord got a robot arm due to heavy bleeding. Evidence: In Power Edd, during the flashback, Paul and Tord sat next to each other. This proves that they were friends. How could you fit a giant robot in a car? This is why the robot was underground. The future Tord look has a robot arm so obviously that is why Tord has the arm. Most kid movies back then were creepy like in the 80's or 90's when the actors were kids. At least I think so. This is why Tords dream was RA. The 3am work is because everyone is asleep. My head cannon for Tord is that he left having big plans, but didn’t yet have the idea of taking over the world. I like to imagine he met Paul and Patryck on his hiatus where he began to realize what he really wanted, and founded the Red Army.
Theory: The other 3 knew about Paul and patryk but only thought of them as Tord’s friends, that’s why they didn’t care when Paul’s picture was hung up, and tord has been working on the robot since episode 1, it’s creation spanning across the entirety of Tord’s original presence and he was finished before 25ft under the seat, he left so that the 3 wouldn’t expect anything from tord, making it easier for them to warm up to him and give him all the access he needed
4:14 Wait when Todd entered his weapon room, There is a blue poster with the monster than presumably possesses or maybe has relation to Tom. Also the third possibility isn’t possible as we can see in the room to the right we can see Ford and his friends, meaning Ford knew about the monster and hid friends when he burst the room.
This is my theory: When Tord left to the big city, he got brainwashed to become evil then was commanded to go back and get the robot but then got shot down and Paul and Pytric went to get him back.
the 3rd person in Snogre IS Tord, in the Legacy Documentary while Eddie is saying “Theres a series long soft-arc” it flashes by the vigilante scene in Fun-Dead and also the Snogre cloud-berg scene.
Well ... Now we know that Tord knew those guys before and was planning to do the Red Army. But I think Tord wanted to include Edd, Matt, (and probably) Tom in the Red Army as they were friends and it seems that he liked being friends with Edd, Matt and Tom and enjoyed the adventures he had with them. But when he saw how "childish" they were and started messing arround in his secret room, he changed his plans.
(I didn't know you pointed this info out already) I bet this isn't the first time Tord met the Red Army. Wanna know how? Well, We can see a Tord shadow in the news in the episode Fun Dead while the Red Army is fighting off the zombies. In the episode The Snogre, we can see Tord's number plate (N0R5K1) painted on the side of Paul's plane. The same plate number also appears on Tord's car when the flashback or Tord leaving appeared. And the Read Army icon can be seen on the plane, on the wall where Tord is opening the secret door in the wall in The End. And, Paul and Patrick has Tord's red car.
5:33 In the episode when the eddsworld was bad, tord did not have a badage in his cheek, but when he meet ed and matt and tom, he had a bandag, and I think he got it when the his airplane hit the cloude burg, he got a wound and there were three of them, so I don't think they haven't meet befor.

Tord knew them before he left. He has photos of them in his secret room, and the red leader symbol on the lever imply he was already evil BEFORE he left...
The Red army symbol is seen in Tord's lab, and on the mech, meaning Tord must have been part of the red army when the mech was built. What if he was with the red army for a while, even during his stay at the house, but then left the house for the big city to try to get away, but ultimatly fell back in.
I think the 3rd option is the correct (but instead of meeting them for the first time he has been working with them for years) I think after the final battle with Edd Matt and Tom he realised how powerful friendship was and decided to become Paul and Patrick's friend, and maybe during the next few years after a lot of healing and therapy Tord code name Red leader, Paul and Patrick desided they wanted to make an army of rebels to take over the world for good intentions (they probably didn't succeed), eventually he also could of made up with Edd Matt and maybe Tom (also Tord could if given tom and matt the cybernetics on the faces due to toms cancer and matts possible illness or injury) but didn't rejoin the group due to him being leader of his army (but would still stay in contact with them) , and eventually he gave Tom and Matt the second time travel device to stop Edd from killing his younger self
my take on how Tord became a villain: In Moving Targets, the characters go into the army and face another army that wears similar outfits to the Red Army, which makes me think that Tord saw the Red Army around this time and became interested, so by the time he left the show, he lied that he had gone to the big city, but in fact he went to the red army and rose through the ranks until he became the red leader, which is a title given to the leader of the army, Tord had so much power that he ended up being blinded by everything he achieved, so he ends up stopping caring about his friends and starting to care only about power, in The End Tord had returned to get his old giant robot that he had forgotten when he left, the robot would be a good weapon for the army, that's why he went to get the robot, we all know what happened next...

I noticed Paul on Tord’s wanted poster, so, back in the day, I had just assumed that they’d always known each other. But hey, maybe he just saw Paul and Patryck as workers for him, but after literally getting blown up, he actually decided to have friends by his side.

I think he wanted to save the robot until he had fleshed out his army, so he left to make it easier. He came back to get it it once he was done, and just like he had planned he had something to fall back on when the plan failed. If it weren’t for him leaving the red army would have ended very prematurely

From what I can tell, Tord either keeps changing his mind about what hes going to do to the house and his old friends. Or planning his ultimate attack on them.
Tord gave himself the time to watch the same movies with Edd and Matt, gave the time to go on a adventure. But then decided to finally cause the ultimate attack only to get interrupted. Gets angry at his old friends, and right after that. They go to buy ice cream.
And they most likely spent atleast half an hour at the store. But then suddenly, Tord decides to run back home.
Its as if, hes too scared to cause the ultimate attack. And keeps attempting to have some final moments in the house with his old friends. And even go on adventures with his old friends, before he shows his evil side.
When he hit Matt, he didn't have much care at all. But when he was with Edd, its as if he wants to stick with Edd more than anyone else. He caused Tom to leave, so that he could be with Edd. But at the same time, he knows that Tom was the person who was the most sensible and logical out of the friends. Which supposedly makes it easier for his attack on the house and his old friends.
Another thought I had, was that Tord was on a given time limit. And had to get it over with as fast as possible, but at the same time. Want to have final moments with his friends and his old home.
Tord's true motives are completely unknown to this day, so we don't really know what Tord's thoughts were towards the entire ordeal he caused.

My theory: Tord Started the project when he started building things, he slowly started to become more and more evil, which effected this robot of his, giving it weapons and such. He then left because he didn’t want the others to catch on but met Paul and Patryk. They all bonded and helped build the giant robot together by sneaking in while the others where having fun. He was building stuff on the plane when it crashed so he grabbed a parachute and deployed. He noticed his bounty and decided to go back and get the robot so he could take over the world, but failed. Paul and Patryk saw the robot be destroyed and ran over to hell Tord. But they saw his arm and robot one, knowing he wanted a replacement. So he healed up his arm and grabbed the stuff to fix the robot and replace Tords normal arm.
I would look at Eddsworld What Now? because, it had some explanation for why Tord acted the way he did. Even if it’s fanmade, it’s still pretty interesting.

My Theory: Tord met Paul in Moving Targets, and decided to join the enemy base. So before he left he was already working the robot for like- weird purposes, then left to the enemy base, not wanting to take the robot with or Edd and the others will be suspicious. Also, he then meet Patryck (explains why in Fun dead you see Tord's shadow plus his hair if you look closely with Paul and Patryck, plus you see his car number on the plane, also, You see Paul in the back of Tord's wanted paper, and finally see him dropping the plane with Paul and Patryck.)
So in conclusion Tord was never sane since Moving Targets.

I have a theory, Tord being addicted to hentai. Potentially made a mecha robot in secret. And when he returns, he works it into a super fighting robot. Due to him sneaking around in the End. My theory is that Tord was on his way to the big city when he met the two and decided to join them. He spent some time with them, fighting and bonding, until he remembered his robot, which was built in separate parts over time as a passion project. He left without a trace, prompting his new comrades to make wanted posters. They saw the robot and immediately thought it could be Tord, and it was.
Why does edd have a picture of Paul in his house?
Edd was friends with Paul in real life, and he was a consistent background character, and Paul was involved in Eddsworld a lot, being the lead animator for Part 1 of The End.
So it’s just a way of saying, “We appreciate and love you, Paul!”

I honestly think that Tord already knew Paul and Patryck before he left, because if I recall correctly, in the PowerEdd eddisode during Edd's flashback, we see Eddsworld character as kids, and Tord and Paul are RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER...
Also, I know that this is a stupid question, but who else cried during that one scene in The End Part 2? You know, where Tord is sitting on the edge of the cliff and regretting his mistakes? Well, yeah, I always cry when I watch that scene... So many years together... And now it's just never gonna be the same again...

A potential explanation for Theory 3's flaw: They had met before The End, but Tord just saw the duo- and all his men- as just soldiers, and nothing more. After the robot explodes though, that's when he decided to become friends with the two soldiers closest to him.

Back after a few months because I thought of something that somewhat makes sense, so just lend me your patience real quick.
So we all know that there must have been a period of time where Tord had devoted his time to making this robot, but when? You could say that he had really never left, however that theory should be ruled out by the fact that if he really did stay behind, then why wouldn't he have just used the robot sooner? Why bother telling Edd that he was returning? From what we know about Tord he's not stupid, obviously smart enough to create a robot numerous stories high. So then why would he bother waiting, for suspense? For what?
There's also the theory that he had made it beforehand and left to "make it in the big city", though otherwise we know nothing. This particular theory is closer to my thoughts, though it does not exactly fit in with it, nor does it dive deep enough into details, so here's what I've got for you:
Tord has always shown chaotic tendencies, traveling all the way back to the first eddisode. He shows a clear love for guns, weaponry, the army, murder, and the list only goes on. I think that during the time Tord had been in Eddsworld, he had been plotting the Red army, as well as the giant robot. Think about it; he's always given clear interest of things like these, and does it really seem farfetched for him to have planned and thought about the army, the robot, world domination, and overall communism and power? If anything, the idea of a robot probably got him hooked onto weaponry and armies, and he probably had been starting to plan it out since he was a late teenager.
I believe that Tord formed the idea of taking over the world, making a robot to help, and create his own army all before The End 1 & 2. He most likely decided that the first, and most important thing to do, was to make a secretive room. Tord couldn't just make a big fucking robot out in the open, otherwise questions and suspicion would be provoked, so instead his first plan was to make a personalized secret base, which was located in no other than Edd's house. He created the lever-activated room, then began to create an underground bunker of some sort for the robot to take place in. So from there, he created the robot in almost any free time he had, all while keeping suspicion levels low, and sliding materials under the radar. Once he had finished the first real part of his plan, he now had a bigger challenge to face; making an army. Now making a robot is no easy task, but to create an army? That's not an everyday ordinary thing, you know. And it's typically not for good intentions, either. This meaning he couldn't tell his friends, there would be no way they wouldn't catch on, considering his public malicious intentions. So it would have just been easier for him to lie and say he wanted to "make it in the big city", taking part in the last time he is seen for years. During the time he is gone, he begins to realize that world domination is no easy task, and he would probably need a bit of help with his overall idea. So, upon meeting a particular set of friends, he discovers that they too share a familiar thought process with him. They may not have known which direction to begin in, but with Tord they could now achieve their dreams. Tord agreed to help them get to where they want if they obliged to being his bodyguards and overall be his servant-ish. They agreed and from there on he had now formed what I believe to be an accidental friendship. Though from what I can remember, Eddsworld never actually shows that Tord, Paul and Patryck are friends, however I still like to imagine that they started out as people with similar minds and hunger for power, and ended out forming a tight bond. So now, Tord begun his work on creating an army. I suppose he had to purchase land of some sort out away from everything, and start making bases and creating roles and getting people to join. It would have been a tedious but patient thing to do, to gather people and put them to work on an army that may never really make it. However after a few years, he most likely had gotten to a point that he had appreciated. In what I envision, Tord had managed to create bases, assign roles, recruit people and make his army known, get in a bit of trouble with the law, and keep his dream in clear view all during the time he's away. And now that he was pleased with himself, he figured it was about time to take back what was his. So, Tord called up Edd beforehand and stated he were to be "moving back in", and not long after returned. He took a bit of time to enjoy bullying Tom while also hanging with his friends, which I honestly think he privately missed, whether he admits it or not. Tom probably was automatically suspicious of Tord, being they were already at each other's throats to begin with, so Tord needed to get him out of the way. He basically just pissed off Tom until he couldn't take it and left in an angrily manner, giving Tord the perfect opportunity to take control. He stayed watching a movie with Edd and Matt for perhaps a quarter into it, then stated he had to to something, never specifying what. He returns to where his old room was, where all his dreams were accomplished, and gets only a button away from getting what he wanted; then Edd and Matt screw it all up. They toy with practically everything in the room, pressing buttons that make Tord aggravated, however he draws the line when Matt goes to press his button (Tord in that moment: It's my turn to press it D:

I've been so fascinated by the concept of Red leader and Paul and Patryck. Personally, I think that I think Tord was "evil" before he left because of when bumped into Edd in moving targets and made him press the button that launched that into the enemy base (also he had that jetpack and its just like how??why?? lol) and also since he has pictures of Paul, Patryck, him, and some other x'ed out person that kind of looks like the blonde guy in moving targets in his secret lab in The End. I'm still looking for clues, but also there was another picture of Paul in Edd's house in Trick or Threat so maybe Tord wasn't friends in secret with him or Edd knew him?? idk abt that I think the animators might've left it there for fun but I'm still looking. I gotta say that I love this channel so so much ty for posting your videos they're always so thorough and fun

Theory: Tord wanted to betray them in the first place when they met because of a "cool trend" that was going around at the time they met that was about revenge and robots. Tord had known Paul and Patrick ever since childhood and they loved army talk.
In 2008, Tord finally finished the robot after 1 year of 3am work. He finally wanted to fuffil his dream and create the red army. He packed up all his stuff but the robot wouldnt fit so he dug it underground the house. During the final scene of Paul and Patrick helping Tord, Paul and Patrick drove to RA base and then Tord got a robot arm due to heavy bleeding. Evidence: In Power Edd, during the flashback, Paul and Tord sat next to each other. This proves that they were friends. How could you fit a giant robot in a car? This is why the robot was underground. The future Tord look has a robot arm so obviously that is why Tord has the arm. Most kid movies back then were creepy like in the 80's or 90's when the actors were kids. At least I think so. This is why Tords dream was RA. The 3am work is because everyone is asleep. Theory: The other 3 knew about Paul and patryk but only thought of them as Tord’s friends, that’s why they didn’t care when Paul’s picture was hung up, and tord has been working on the robot since episode 1, it’s creation spanning across the entirety of Tord’s original presence and he was finished before 25ft under the seat, he left so that the 3 wouldn’t expect anything from tord, making it easier for them to warm up to him and give him all the access he needed

This is my theory:
When Tord left to the big city, he got brainwashed to become evil then was commanded to go back and get the robot but then got shot down and Paul and Pytric went to get him back.

the 3rd person in Snogre IS Tord, in the Legacy Documentary while Eddie is saying “Theres a series long soft-arc” it flashes by the vigilante scene in Fun-Dead and also the Snogre cloud-berg scene.
Theory: He met them before, betrayed them in the same fashion as his old friends, they followed him and they got back together
Well ... Now we know that Tord knew those guys before and was planning to do the Red Army. But I think Tord wanted to include Edd, Matt, (and probably) Tom in the Red Army as they were friends and it seems that he liked being friends with Edd, Matt and Tom and enjoyed the adventures he had with them. But when he saw how "childish" they were and started messing arround in his secret room, he changed his plans.

We can see a Tord shadow in the news in the episode Fun Dead while the Red Army is fighting off the zombies.
In the episode The Snogre, we can see Tord's number plate (N0R5K1) painted on the side of Paul's plane. The same plate number also appears on Tord's car when the flashback or Tord leaving appeared.
And the Read Army icon can be seen on the plane, on the wall where Tord is opening the secret door in the wall in The End.
And, Paul and Patrick has Tord's red car.

The Red army symbol is seen in Tord's lab, and on the mech, meaning Tord must have been part of the red army when the mech was built. What if he was with the red army for a while, even during his stay at the house, but then left the house for the big city to try to get away, but ultimatly fell back in.

I think the 3rd option is the correct (but instead of meeting them for the first time he has been working with them for years) I think after the final battle with Edd Matt and Tom he realised how powerful friendship was and decided to become Paul and Patrick's friend, and maybe during the next few years after a lot of healing and therapy Tord code name Red leader, Paul and Patrick desided they wanted to make an army of rebels to take over the world for good intentions (they probably didn't succeed), eventually he also could of made up with Edd Matt and maybe Tom (also Tord could if given tom and matt the cybernetics on the faces due to toms cancer and matts possible illness or injury) but didn't rejoin the group due to him being leader of his army (but would still stay in contact with them) , and eventually he gave Tom and Matt the second time travel device to stop Edd from killing his younger self

my take on how Tord became a villain:
In Moving Targets, the characters go into the army and face another army that wears similar outfits to the Red Army, which makes me think that Tord saw the Red Army around this time and became interested, so by the time he left the show, he lied that he had gone to the big city, but in fact he went to the red army and rose through the ranks until he became the red leader, which is a title given to the leader of the army, Tord had so much power that he ended up being blinded by everything he achieved, so he ends up stopping caring about his friends and starting to care only about power, in The End Tord had returned to get his old giant robot that he had forgotten when he left, the robot would be a good weapon for the army, that's why he went to get the robot, we all know what happened next...
