I always thought that Saloonatics was just Edd imagining the characters as people he knew. And so he also imagined the bartender as Tord or something. Maybe he’s met Todd and imagined the bartender as todd
I'd argue that Mark also is the opposite of Matt in another aspect. It's fairly easy to tell Mark talks and does the least out of the three neighbours, which is a contrast to Matt who has had multiple episodes where he is a central part of the story, (The whole Zombeh trilogy, Matt sucks, Date Night, Hammer & Fail), and who has some of the most memorable lines in the series. IDK what my point really is, but I felt like bringing it up.
Addendum: Space Face and the end of WTFuture also apply. I'd also add Fan Service 2, but at point Matt was leading Eddsworld with EW Beyond so that doesn't really feel like it should really count.

I wouldn't say that Eddsworld Legacy retconned the Neighbor trio's backstory. I'd think it's safe to say that, while the Eddhead trio and the Neighbor trio grew up in the same town or such, hence why they were in primary school together, they had been disconnected for a decade or so since primary school. They would explain why they became rivals when they just so happened to move next to one another, with only Edd having any semblance of the "Second Place" memory, as they wouldn't remember each other from all the way back then.
I just realized that the matt snowmen stole the line from tom "does evenyone else fell kinda fallingy?" and the matt snowmen go like "does anyone else fell kinda melltingy?"
The Neighbors are even opposite on personality, Edd is nice and friendly, while Eduardo is rude and violent, Tom is selfish and moody, while Jon is nice and innocent, and Matt being dumb and vain, while Mark is annoying and conceited, Tord is extremely evil and technically a killer since he killed Jon, so technically Todd maybe was even more innocent than Jon and I’m surprised that Eduardo punched constantly Jon instead of him.
I headcanon that just like Tord, Todd is also quite quiet, but Todd radiates a vibe that tells you that he's gonna hurt you, or anything. He probably left, just like Tord, but unlike Tord, he's still in contact with Eduardo and Mark. That's all my headcanons, though.. (I'll regret posting this comment.)

Id say that since the neighbors are the complete opposite of edd and his friends, I’d say that tord is good, if not slightly better. He is a little violent and mean, but still not evil in the early eddsworld, but he is full out evil in the end. This leaves me to believe that Todd is the nicest of the neighbors.

Tod was really good friends with Jon (because tord hates Tom and vise versa) and they would usually get on eduardos nerves, eventually Tod was tired of Eduardo bossing everyone around so he finally stood up for himself then proceeded to get kicked out by Eduardo
I came up with this headcanon after my friend asked me about a name for a neighbor version of tord, I had had the thought before but I never thought about it as much until then"

I wouldn't say that Eddsworld Legacy retconned the Neighbor trio's backstory. I'd think it's safe to say that, while the Eddhead trio and the Neighbor trio grew up in the same town or such, hence why they were in primary school together, they had been disconnected for a decade or so since primary school. They would explain why they became rivals when they just so happened to move next to one another, with only Edd having any semblance of the "Second Place" memory, as they wouldn't remember each other from all the way back then.

The Neighbors are even opposite on personality, Edd is nice and friendly, while Eduardo is rude and violent, Tom is selfish and moody, while Jon is nice and innocent, and Matt being dumb and vain, while Mark is annoying and conceited, Tord is extremely evil and technically a killer since he killed Jon, so technically Todd maybe was even more innocent than Jon and I’m surprised that Eduardo punched constantly Jon instead of him.
I headcanon that just like Tord, Todd is also quite quiet, but Todd radiates a vibe that tells you that he's gonna hurt you, or anything. He probably left, just like Tord, but unlike Tord, he's still in contact with Eduardo and Mark. That's all my headcanons, though.. (I'll regret posting this comment.)

Id say that since the neighbors are the complete opposite of edd and his friends, I’d say that tord is good, if not slightly better. He is a little violent and mean, but still not evil in the early eddsworld, but he is full out evil in the end. This leaves me to believe that Todd is the nicest of the neighbors.

@@YxVideos That's really just a theory that is highly unlikely. Under the assumption that Tord isn't a clone, my idea still stands. Not only that, but early Tord is still shown with these violent and mean aspects, another reason why my idea is most likely correct.
