I can’t stand the 13 primes. Making Optimus a messianic figure makes him infinitely less interesting. Optimus being a basic dock worker who had the weight of the world thrust upon him is *INFINITELY* more heroic and interesting than him being God’s special guy who was always destined to fix everything.
Thank god someone else is just as done with them as I am. I'm not against Optimus having named predecessors, but I don’t need him to be Jesus; he's just a guy.
I like the idea of the 13 themselves but I do agree about Optimus. It takes a way from his story a lot then they make him one of the 13. TF One I heard was supposedly going to be able to work as a prequel for every continuity, let’s hope they just let Optimus be a normal guy in it
Wait wasn't it like that there were first 13 spacial primes and then a bunch of normal primes like Sentinel prime and later optimus prime. It depends which transformers contenuety it is some have 13 primes others don't. Some had normal predecessor to prime that aren't mythical transformers.

There are a TON of listings not mentioned here (sounds like I’m coping rn but I am as there is really A LOT of new stuff), like the rest of the Prime listing and the whole of SS 2025 just being given to us on a silver platter. Also JTprime is retiring after all the recent listings were posted. He will stick around till the 2026 stuff can be dropped thou.
I wouldn’t buy them if they were, they need to be new and unique moulds and not be reuses of any past figures. But knowing Hasbro they’ll mostly either retool or redeco ones from Legacy for them, an example being TM II Megatron for Onyx Prime.
Hear me out- Solus Prime as a pretool of Cybertron Scattorshot. Makes it so her hammer can double as Scattorshot’s turret rolls around AND it makes sure she’s not just a Legacy Elita-1 retool like Strongarm was. *looks at the rest of the leaks; sees a Voyager Armada Red Alert a few slots away from Flatline* Uh... who's gonna tell him that he's probably going to be just a head swap retool of Armada Red Alert? My bets on Onyx are that he's going to be a pretool for a Prime Predaking figure (so he won't have his centaur bits) and come with an alternate Shockwave head.

The next year is gonna apparently be a continuation of Legacy thematically except half the characters are Primes. I am especially excited for Onyx Prime
The loads of leak listing we've been getting, was crazy. Transformers Legacy United gets one more year with wave 5. With a few new characters, but mostly consists of figures that was moved from wave 2, and package refreshes. Which is good, hope the fans that missed these characters, get caught up before Legacy ends it run. But the Legacy multiverse portal won't be closing, as all these different characters and their variants meeting each other, has awaken the legendary Primes from Cybertron's past. -The Primes are a must for me. But Overcharge and Flatline are my top characters to get from the two lists.
Man there's a whole lot of complaining in this video, and even more missing information because there were A LOT of other leaks that were not covered at all.
I know there were a lot of things I didn't cover, I said I wasn't covering all of them so I could make a second video about the rest of this stuff. Also I feel like the Negativity was balanced out by the moments of Extreme Positivity, like Flatline.
You said Bionicle like an insult. By the will of Mata Nui you have *Fallen* out of grace with the fandom. But in all seriousness you missed the Alligned 13 designs which might be more in line with what they're going for. But it's utterly confusing because about half of the Prime's have different existing designs from bigger pieces of media. Micronus' largest role was in RiD 15 which might explain why he's a deluxe instead of a core even though the entire thing about him is how he sired the race of transformers that are small. Having him be a core also means he can be small and light and turn into a shape (Alt modes for the Prime don't matter because none of them canonically transform except Amalgamus) which can then plug onto other figures referencing RiD 15's minicons which would be absolutely appropriate. (RiD 15 also had a Megatronus though he wasn't referred to as "The Fallen") Vector Prime we are getting this year seemingly as a spill over to transition the line, but he's based on the Cybertron version seemingly. So maybe this is what they're doing? Alchemist then might be based on Cyberverse Alchemist, which would be great because then we would have a transforming version of that design, but also concerning because the design looks like it turns into an Earth truck because one of the worst things about Cyberverse is that half the series was set on Cybertron yet 90% of the characters turn into Earth vehicles. I think it would be fun if Solus turned into a big hammer. Later down the line we could get Quintus which would be the first Earthspark character to get into the mainline and boy god damn howdy do they need it because the budget for the mainline is a shoelace in an old box that, when pulled, opens a secret compartment that contains an embarrassing photo of Spongebob. Since we've already got the creepy Bionicle-pilled Fallen we could get the Dreamwave one. But it would be REALLY funny if it was the RiD 15 one. So we've gone from a time where getting an Alpha Trion was impossible to maybe having too many options. Like I got the two pack version and was like "Aight, we're good, thank you" cause an Alpha Trion figure only really needs to do 2 things: 1 look like him, 2 exist. That being said I feel he'll be a repaint of Vector Prime.
No I say Bionicle like it's it's own thing. I'd also say it if they looked like Galactis or what ever. I picked up on that at the end of this list or so. Yeah it's probably because it's foccusing on the 13 Primes or something. And yeah even in singular pieces of media a lot of the primes don't have consistent designs. Man I hope we get a Thew Adams Action Figure. It would be very weird for them to pick the RID 2015 one, but it's not a bad design. It is indeed a weird turn of events that we are getting so many Alpha Trions.
They need to repack Studio Series Rise of the Beasts Optimus Prime. Almost everywhere I found it, it’s out of stock, and when it wasn’t out of stock, it was from scalpers.
Love seeing Hasbro continuing to give us bots from other universes after Legacy, just amazing! Can’t wait for the supposedly named Prime trilogy which is coming in 2025, definitely will be getting my hands on the Onyx, Nova and Megatronus Primes along with the RID (2001) Sky-Byte, Animated Wasp and Armada Red Alert! One last thing, we all know that the Legacy Tarn and Cosmos will be scalped the moment that they’re rereleased, better get your orders down before that happens.
Apparently more listings have been leaked and were getting a leader class Skybyte and a voyager class heatwave ( Dear god the Steve Blumining is still on the horizon.). also I must say that I still am kind of waiting for Hasbro to make the good decision to make a legacy animated blitzwing or legacy prime universe starscream any of those two could make them some mega money, Like why do a legacy overcharge; a character nobody knows and instead do a legacy animated blitzwing.
I'm one of the people cheering for Cosmos, just because it's finally a chance to bloody weell get one without paying ludicrous shanix to a scalper. Also because I love green bots and flying bots and space-going bots and he's all three, but those are all reasons the first item is more important. I'm actually a little bit into the idea of getting the ramjet too, because while the robot mode is mid or a little subpar, that jet mode is just my jam, and his color scheme was always really striking. I got the Toxitron Collection Cloudcover for the jet alone, and I still like it that much to get another for the jet alone and take the nearly twenty year old transformation engineering as a bonus.
Totally get that, and it's why I'm happy for you all, I just hope it doesn't disappoint quite like it did for me. See for me even the jet mode doesn't work because it's bloated.

The Cybetronians don't need a Greek Pantheon. They are Too Mystical for a race based on Science with such long life spans. They bring more Magic into a serries that should have less of it.
2:58 I’m not sure if someone already said this, but according to TFWiki, while Hasbro technically owns the GoBots IP, “much of the GoBots property was and still is outside of Hasbro’s control.” Keep in mind that the Machine Robo franchise from Japan is property of Bandai, TakaraTomy’s competitor, and so, the toy designs for Machine Robo which would become the GoBots in America are off limits for use in Transformers, and that very much includes Pathfinder. As far as I could tell, it seems Hasbro owns the names of characters and concepts from GoBots, but since Hanna-Barbara made the cartoon, even that’s complicated. Never say never, but it’ll be an uphill battle.
So last year I heard a rumour that Studio Series 86 would be bringing us the Constructacons. So I packaged up my PoS Combiner Wars Devastator and sold it for a nice price that allowed me to buy a haslab. Well I was getting a little worried that the rumour was wrong and I am out a Devastator but thanks to the leaks I now know that I did a good thing in selling my Devastator last year. Because next year we start getting one of the greatest combiners ever! woot! Devastator 2025!
I’m so disappointed that they’re making a second G2 Grimlock ,not that the mold is bad or anything it’s just that the blue is a bit uninteresting, instead of a G1 Colored Legacy Skyquake.

The fact we're getting Dreamwave representation, not only this year with the Ultra Magnus in the Chinese Buluke model kits but (HOPEFULLY) with next year's The Fallen makes me so, *so* happy.
@ctiveEnd Buluke model kits are officially licensed model kits by a company called Buluke (AKA Bloks, Bruco, Brooke, and their apparently official English name Blockees); they're made seemingly for the mainland Chinese market and come in blind boxes (however buying a case gets you a set of all 9). They're roughly between 3.75 inches and 4 inches in height, and are all built around the same base skeleton of an oversized LEGO Minifigure torso (and only the torso oddly enough), however the articulation is surprisingly high since it uses a lot of ball joints and additional hinged pegs to give elbows, knees, wrists, ankles, hips and what have you. I'd suggest looking them up if you like the style of them and are willing to spend 2 or 3 minutes building a little Optimus or Megatron or something. They've also done Rise of the Beasts model kits with built-in LEDs to give glowing effects.
Yeah, we need Hasbro to give us the Dreamwave interoperation of the character. Make him an entirely new mould with slight reuses in hands or something, also give him translucent orange to give off the flame furnace effect that he has in the comics.

I seriously hope it’s the Dreamwave Fallen. When I first Saw Revenge of the Fallen, I thought he was cool in that movie. Then I looked into the character more and discovered the Dreamwave design, which looks infinitely better. It actually looks like a G1 version of him while still having some edge to his design. Flame effects would also be amazing to have. Also, since they’re doing Tarn again, it would have been better for him to be scaled up to Leader Class. A big, bulky Tarn would be awesome to have. Instead we’re just getting a rerelease of the small, skinny Voyager Tarn, which is cool, but probably not to scale with those around him.
Well they aren't doing Tarn again, they are just Re-releasing the one they already have, so it's very unlikely they will change anything. But I pray for those shoulders.
I find the Galaxy Shuttle thing so funny because they shelfwarmed in my Walmart HARD and now they flat out don't stock leaders anymore because they think they don't sell. Like no sweety, it was just a figure of a character only known by hardcore nerds made from a visually awful figure even though I feel it's slightly underrated. I am probably not the first to say this, but it´s certainly a year of the 13 Primes in 2025. According to SLag Podcast, the GT7 Prime listings also include Deluxe Solus Prime, Voyager Prima Prime, and Voyager Alchemist Prime/McAddams. Add Vector Prime in Legacy Uni and Alpha Trion in the TF One movie, and we might get half or more of the 13 before 2025 ends. Also, deluxe Air Raid makes everyone think Commander Class Silverbolt might make the Aerialbots glorious return Plus, heard that GT7Prime leaked so much in one go because he is retiring, and this is his last hurrah.
I did just hear that he's quitting which is sad, but hey he did Amazing work for a long time. And I'm glad to hear it's not based on the Prime Aesthetic.
Those are also Annoying, but with the shoulders being the way they are, I never think he looks cool. There's not a pose I can get him into that looks right to me.
4:37 So there’s actually 3 different designs. One from IDW, one from IDW Bayverse, and one from the cancelled Transformers Universe game. Universe Flatline, while still a medic, is described as someone who is deep into studying the cosmos. This leads him into infusing himself with Dark Energon. With the Dark Energon and his cosmic studies he’s eventually able to basically become a master of earth, wind, fire, and water as well as being able to use a few special Dark Energon related abilities too. Though his studies did give him an immense fascination with Unicron, to the point where it’s heavily hinted that his true loyalties lie with Unicron rather than Megatron. The primary theory going around is that this figure will either be the IDW design or the Universe design. And I gotta say that it seems people are decently eager for both. I know FireBros. is especially really hoping the figure is based on Universe.
Interesting, I've never seen pictures of the Game version. Not even when I was getting pics off google for this video. Me I gotta go with my Alex Milne version, and weirdly enough Movie Comic version. They are both so nuts I need em.
Honestly, I think it's wise to dedicate the last wave to repacks of hard to obtain figures. They tend phone in the final waves. I'm looking forward to a lot of things in the lists that you haven't mentioned yet. Cough, Constructicons, cough. But of the things mentioned in this video, I want the G2 Grimlock. I dunno, the colour scheme does it for me. Based on how the core BM Cheetor looks, I have high hoped for core Dinobot

I get that you wanna milk the leaks and stuff (good on you I guess) but like why even bother talking about the new generations listing if you’re only going to talk about like four figures from the listings? Why not skip the first one which is just package refresh’s and figures you don’t even care about and instead focus on the prime stuff since that’s way more interesting of a topic to cover. You didn’t even mention the fact that we’re getting more combiners like Superion for crying out loud! Not to mention the entire 2025 studio series stuff but I guess just more cynical milking right? I covered those four because it's the smallest of the leaked listings. Like I didn't separate that out my self, that was just one of the lists I received from the million people who sent them.
The classics version of the seeker mould is way better than the earthrise one. The earthrise version seems like it's just a KO upscaled version of the classics mould.
Ngl I do like the 13 primes but I don't like how they're used in things like tfp. In my story I had them just be the original transformers and not these mystical god like beings and the fallen has a burning core like the dream wave version. Tho he is based on the rotf version as I really like that version but he's like 3 times the size of optimus and megatron and he's a complete bruiser. He would put the fear of god in people like tarn. And optimus being a prime is something that's put onto him by sentinel when sentinel dies at the start of the war. Basically having the whole universe put on optimus shoulders making his rise to becoming optimus prime all the more heroic
I don't even like it when they are the Original Transformers. I think IDW did it best, where they were the leaders of the first 13 Tribes when they Unified. It makes sense, it gives them a place in the universe, and a reason why they were cemented into history.

I’m really happy with the new figs and the repacks tbh, I only recently got back into transformers and as such, missed a lot of releases, so the repacks are good for someone like me
I might just be alone here but I really like speculating releases and I dislike how everything has been spoiled for the entirety of 2025 it kinda kills a lot of the surprise for reveals but I’m in the minority

the "prime" series is probably shorthand for something, like united was shortened to uni, so I assume this will be something along the lines of primes awaken. Also, since theres a Armada Red Alert listing, I think Flatline will probably be a retool of him.
God I wish the Siege Seeker mould was the one getting rereleases, I only have Starscream but that mould is so good I will happily buy it 15 other times to avoid scalper prices

I only recognise the Quintessons as the Transformers backstory. No Primus, no 13 Primes, none of it. The whole pseudo religious aspect of the comics is lame and I strongly dislike the influence it's had over the brand. Also, as a G2 kid, happy to get G2 Grimlock.

The Thirteen Primes...meh. Not something that was particularly needed. They ain't have to go any further than Sentinel and The Fallen (Dreamwave did that one best, and the only toy of it is the Maketoys Paladin/Chaos from back in the day who happened to also have Power Core Combiners compatibility to some degree). As for the other stuff... I'll wait until we got pics of "G2 Grimlock" - nobody expected that bizarre banana yellow w/blue tiger stripes thing that was in the Toxitron Collection (or that weird Doritos Nacho Cheese Jazz they tried to pass off as a G2 Jazz), but that's what we were handed. And since G2 Grimlock came in both green and the more well known blue, it's best to be skeptical until pics come out.
Onyx is another one that I am skeptical of. It just seems like Hasbruh would take the lazy way out and at worst crack open the vault to repaint either Cybertron Scourge/Galaxy Force Flame Convoy or Prime Predaking (that big beefy one that was supposed to be Ultimate class or something). At best on the lazy scale...they retool Legacy Transmetal 2 Megatron.
The primes and the rumoured prime armour gimmick sounds interesting but what would the alt modes be, hopefully not scrap piles that kinda looks like a jet Flatline is kinda a surprise to see but a welcomed one and being a first wave voyager probably new mold that gets repainted Armada wheeljack also a pleasant affordable surprise, also armada thrust on the hotshot box showed it being a ER seeker retool and with hasbro still pushing that mold I really hope he isn’t a crappy retool of that mold

I assume this was brought on by me saying the part where my Friend asked me who would be my Mayhem Attack squad. And what's funny is immediately after that we did that exact same thing. For me I went with Autobots, Wheeljack, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Jazz, Slash, and Elita. And for the Cons I went, Shockwave, The 3 Reflector units, the Coneheads, and Megatronia's team, so that technically puts them over. But I used fewer Autobots.
@@PerspectiveEnd I like your picks, more fresh of a starting cast than we usually get out of a new series, also interesting to not have Optimus or Megatron on either side. I love both characters but I think it would be cool if we saw both sides operating without them, at least to start with. I just hope one day we get another transformers series that isn’t a short lived run like War for Cybertron that isn’t necessarily adult but has more mature plots and themes and gives us new non-G1 designs.

I wouldn’t buy them if they were, they need to be new and unique moulds and not be reuses of any past figures. But knowing Hasbro they’ll mostly either retool or redeco ones from Legacy for them, an example being TM II Megatron for Onyx Prime.
Hear me out- Solus Prime as a pretool of Cybertron Scattorshot. Makes it so her hammer can double as Scattorshot’s turret rolls around AND it makes sure she’s not just a Legacy Elita-1 retool like Strongarm was.

The loads of leak listing we've been getting, was crazy. Transformers Legacy United gets one more year with wave 5. With a few new characters, but mostly consists of figures that was moved from wave 2, and package refreshes. Which is good, hope the fans that missed these characters, get caught up before Legacy ends it run. But the Legacy multiverse portal won't be closing, as all these different characters and their variants meeting each other, has awaken the legendary Primes from Cybertron's past.
-The Primes are a must for me. But Overcharge and Flatline are my top characters to get from the two lists.
It hopefully means that the designers will have a solid period of time to get some of their molds into top shape before they are made.
lets hope wheeljack comes with the minicon, because if it doesn't. HASBRO WHY EVEN GIVE THE OTHER FIGURE WITH A MINICON BUT NOT THE SINGLE RELEASE.

Man there's a whole lot of complaining in this video, and even more missing information because there were A LOT of other leaks that were not covered at all.
I know there were a lot of things I didn't cover, I said I wasn't covering all of them so I could make a second video about the rest of this stuff.

But in all seriousness you missed the Alligned 13 designs which might be more in line with what they're going for.
But it's utterly confusing because about half of the Prime's have different existing designs from bigger pieces of media. Micronus' largest role was in RiD 15 which might explain why he's a deluxe instead of a core even though the entire thing about him is how he sired the race of transformers that are small. Having him be a core also means he can be small and light and turn into a shape (Alt modes for the Prime don't matter because none of them canonically transform except Amalgamus) which can then plug onto other figures referencing RiD 15's minicons which would be absolutely appropriate. (RiD 15 also had a Megatronus though he wasn't referred to as "The Fallen")
Vector Prime we are getting this year seemingly as a spill over to transition the line, but he's based on the Cybertron version seemingly. So maybe this is what they're doing?
Alchemist then might be based on Cyberverse Alchemist, which would be great because then we would have a transforming version of that design, but also concerning because the design looks like it turns into an Earth truck because one of the worst things about Cyberverse is that half the series was set on Cybertron yet 90% of the characters turn into Earth vehicles.
I think it would be fun if Solus turned into a big hammer.
Later down the line we could get Quintus which would be the first Earthspark character to get into the mainline and boy god damn howdy do they need it because the budget for the mainline is a shoelace in an old box that, when pulled, opens a secret compartment that contains an embarrassing photo of Spongebob.
Since we've already got the creepy Bionicle-pilled Fallen we could get the Dreamwave one. But it would be REALLY funny if it was the RiD 15 one.
So we've gone from a time where getting an Alpha Trion was impossible to maybe having too many options. Like I got the two pack version and was like "Aight, we're good, thank you" cause an Alpha Trion figure only really needs to do 2 things: 1 look like him, 2 exist. That being said I feel he'll be a repaint of Vector Prime.

Can’t wait for the supposedly named Prime trilogy which is coming in 2025, definitely will be getting my hands on the Onyx, Nova and Megatronus Primes along with the RID (2001) Sky-Byte, Animated Wasp and Armada Red Alert! One last thing, we all know that the Legacy Tarn and Cosmos will be scalped the moment that they’re rereleased, better get your orders down before that happens.

I'm one of the people cheering for Cosmos, just because it's finally a chance to bloody weell get one without paying ludicrous shanix to a scalper. Also because I love green bots and flying bots and space-going bots and he's all three, but those are all reasons the first item is more important.
I'm actually a little bit into the idea of getting the ramjet too, because while the robot mode is mid or a little subpar, that jet mode is just my jam, and his color scheme was always really striking. I got the Toxitron Collection Cloudcover for the jet alone, and I still like it that much to get another for the jet alone and take the nearly twenty year old transformation engineering as a bonus.
Totally get that, and it's why I'm happy for you all, I just hope it doesn't disappoint quite like it did for me.

2:58 I’m not sure if someone already said this, but according to TFWiki, while Hasbro technically owns the GoBots IP, “much of the GoBots property was and still is outside of Hasbro’s control.” Keep in mind that the Machine Robo franchise from Japan is property of Bandai, TakaraTomy’s competitor, and so, the toy designs for Machine Robo which would become the GoBots in America are off limits for use in Transformers, and that very much includes Pathfinder. As far as I could tell, it seems Hasbro owns the names of characters and concepts from GoBots, but since Hanna-Barbara made the cartoon, even that’s complicated. Never say never, but it’ll be an uphill battle.
So last year I heard a rumour that Studio Series 86 would be bringing us the Constructacons. So I packaged up my PoS Combiner Wars Devastator and sold it for a nice price that allowed me to buy a haslab. Well I was getting a little worried that the rumour was wrong and I am out a Devastator but thanks to the leaks I now know that I did a good thing in selling my Devastator last year. Because next year we start getting one of the greatest combiners ever! woot! Devastator 2025!

The fact we're getting Dreamwave representation, not only this year with the Ultra Magnus in the Chinese Buluke model kits but (HOPEFULLY) with next year's The Fallen makes me so, *so* happy.

@ctiveEnd Buluke model kits are officially licensed model kits by a company called Buluke (AKA Bloks, Bruco, Brooke, and their apparently official English name Blockees); they're made seemingly for the mainland Chinese market and come in blind boxes (however buying a case gets you a set of all 9). They're roughly between 3.75 inches and 4 inches in height, and are all built around the same base skeleton of an oversized LEGO Minifigure torso (and only the torso oddly enough), however the articulation is surprisingly high since it uses a lot of ball joints and additional hinged pegs to give elbows, knees, wrists, ankles, hips and what have you. I'd suggest looking them up if you like the style of them and are willing to spend 2 or 3 minutes building a little Optimus or Megatron or something. They've also done Rise of the Beasts model kits with built-in LEDs to give glowing effects.

I seriously hope it’s the Dreamwave Fallen. When I first Saw Revenge of the Fallen, I thought he was cool in that movie. Then I looked into the character more and discovered the Dreamwave design, which looks infinitely better. It actually looks like a G1 version of him while still having some edge to his design. Flame effects would also be amazing to have.
Also, since they’re doing Tarn again, it would have been better for him to be scaled up to Leader Class. A big, bulky Tarn would be awesome to have. Instead we’re just getting a rerelease of the small, skinny Voyager Tarn, which is cool, but probably not to scale with those around him.
Well they aren't doing Tarn again, they are just Re-releasing the one they already have, so it's very unlikely they will change anything. But I pray for those shoulders.

I am probably not the first to say this, but it´s certainly a year of the 13 Primes in 2025. According to SLag Podcast, the GT7 Prime listings also include Deluxe Solus Prime, Voyager Prima Prime, and Voyager Alchemist Prime/McAddams. Add Vector Prime in Legacy Uni and Alpha Trion in the TF One movie, and we might get half or more of the 13 before 2025 ends.
Also, deluxe Air Raid makes everyone think Commander Class Silverbolt might make the Aerialbots glorious return

4:37 So there’s actually 3 different designs. One from IDW, one from IDW Bayverse, and one from the cancelled Transformers Universe game.
Universe Flatline, while still a medic, is described as someone who is deep into studying the cosmos. This leads him into infusing himself with Dark Energon. With the Dark Energon and his cosmic studies he’s eventually able to basically become a master of earth, wind, fire, and water as well as being able to use a few special Dark Energon related abilities too. Though his studies did give him an immense fascination with Unicron, to the point where it’s heavily hinted that his true loyalties lie with Unicron rather than Megatron.
The primary theory going around is that this figure will either be the IDW design or the Universe design. And I gotta say that it seems people are decently eager for both. I know FireBros. is especially really hoping the figure is based on Universe.

I covered those four because it's the smallest of the leaked listings. Like I didn't separate that out my self, that was just one of the lists I received from the million people who sent them.
The classics version of the seeker mould is way better than the earthrise one. The earthrise version seems like it's just a KO upscaled version of the classics mould.
And any of the flaws of the Classics at least it has an excuse.

Ngl I do like the 13 primes but I don't like how they're used in things like tfp. In my story I had them just be the original transformers and not these mystical god like beings and the fallen has a burning core like the dream wave version. Tho he is based on the rotf version as I really like that version but he's like 3 times the size of optimus and megatron and he's a complete bruiser. He would put the fear of god in people like tarn. And optimus being a prime is something that's put onto him by sentinel when sentinel dies at the start of the war. Basically having the whole universe put on optimus shoulders making his rise to becoming optimus prime all the more heroic
I don't even like it when they are the Original Transformers. I think IDW did it best, where they were the leaders of the first 13 Tribes when they Unified.
It makes sense, it gives them a place in the universe, and a reason why they were cemented into history.

I only recognise the Quintessons as the Transformers backstory. No Primus, no 13 Primes, none of it. The whole pseudo religious aspect of the comics is lame and I strongly dislike the influence it's had over the brand.

Hasbro just pisses me off more and more these days.
And it's not even just the fact that they only seem to want to keep remaking G1 every new series.

The Leader Class Fallen could be Megatronus from the Aligned continuity who’s also called the Fallen
Hard Disagree. Megatron does not have the Respect for the Past to want to take a name from it. Megatron would burn the name he was Forged with into the annals of history.
@@PerspectiveEnd You sadly don’t know what I was talking about. In the Aligned/Prime continuity, The Fallen was originally named ‘Megatronus’ So therefore I called that incarnation Megatronus, although he shares the same design as IDW Fallen so I’d be happy with either
The Thirteen Primes...meh. Not something that was particularly needed. They ain't have to go any further than Sentinel and The Fallen (Dreamwave did that one best, and the only toy of it is the Maketoys Paladin/Chaos from back in the day who happened to also have Power Core Combiners compatibility to some degree).
As for the other stuff... I'll wait until we got pics of "G2 Grimlock" - nobody expected that bizarre banana yellow w/blue tiger stripes thing that was in the Toxitron Collection (or that weird Doritos Nacho Cheese Jazz they tried to pass off as a G2 Jazz), but that's what we were handed. And since G2 Grimlock came in both green and the more well known blue, it's best to be skeptical until pics come out.
Yeah, I'm not super Excited for the 13, but I could wind up taking a Fallen and Onyx, they will have to do work to make me interested in the rest.
Onyx is another one that I am skeptical of. It just seems like Hasbruh would take the lazy way out and at worst crack open the vault to repaint either Cybertron Scourge/Galaxy Force Flame Convoy or Prime Predaking (that big beefy one that was supposed to be Ultimate class or something). At best on the lazy scale...they retool Legacy Transmetal 2 Megatron.
I need Shureshot so bad... as an off road stuff fan...

I find that a Greek Pantheon for the Transformers lessens them. They are too magical in a series that should be more Science Fiction.

The primes and the rumoured prime armour gimmick sounds interesting but what would the alt modes be, hopefully not scrap piles that kinda looks like a jet
Flatline is kinda a surprise to see but a welcomed one and being a first wave voyager probably new mold that gets repainted
Armada wheeljack also a pleasant affordable surprise, also armada thrust on the hotshot box showed it being a ER seeker retool and with hasbro still pushing that mold I really hope he isn’t a crappy retool of that mold

I assume this was brought on by me saying the part where my Friend asked me who would be my Mayhem Attack squad.
And what's funny is immediately after that we did that exact same thing.
For me I went with Autobots, Wheeljack, Bumblebee, Ironhide, Jazz, Slash, and Elita.
And for the Cons I went, Shockwave, The 3 Reflector units, the Coneheads, and Megatronia's team, so that technically puts them over. But I used fewer Autobots.
@@PerspectiveEnd I like your picks, more fresh of a starting cast than we usually get out of a new series, also interesting to not have Optimus or Megatron on either side. I love both characters but I think it would be cool if we saw both sides operating without them, at least to start with. I just hope one day we get another transformers series that isn’t a short lived run like War for Cybertron that isn’t necessarily adult but has more mature plots and themes and gives us new non-G1 designs.
