He looks so much like, Princess Grace, and sounds very American when speaking English. And, his wife and children are just beautiful. What a beautiful family.

Our monarchies reflect our countries. Monaco has a more relaxed, warm nature, I suppose because it is on the Mediterranean. In northern Europe we are more formal and our monarchy reflects that. Even further north and the Danish people are very relaxed and their monarchy again reflects that.
It's the class system in Britain, still alive and well in the 21st century. The British aristocracy really do believe they are better than the "lower orders", and conversely the people seem to think the Royal Family are still relevant.

I was so happy that Prince Albert finally founded apparent happiness with an exceptional wife and the father of their beautiful twin children! He was blessed to have had parents who endowed him with the genetics to be a monarch that I hope will give him the dedication to protect his country. I am also that through his hidden years that he loves & more than appreciate all that his sister Princess Caroline has done for him and country. God bless you and may you also always know that America feels that you are like a relative living abroad and that your mother instilled in you an appreciation for The American Constitution!

Visiting Monaco you get to experience a real life Magic Kingdom. It is more beautiful, inviting and accessible than you might expect. While it is a concrete jungle of sorts it is a gilded one and has an aura or vibe you don't get anywhere else.

I have always watched Prince Albert. I like his mother's dimple that peeks out when he smiles. I think he is so chilled because of his American roots. He and his sisters hung out with and still do, with American cousins and grandparents.
Wow glad his parents gave them a worldly knowledge. Of the world.especially the us.they had great parents.
Albert sounds so American that it is easy to forget he is the ruling prince of Monaco. Of course, having an American mother and her relatives, plus frequent trips to Philadelphia, and going to college in the U.S. helped "Americanize" him, but he seems like a really down-to-earth American guy.

A nice documentary and a window on the life of Prince Albert. I admire Princess Charlene very much. It cannot be easy to fall in love with a man and find you have married not just the man but a country - however small or large - as well.

This is certainly among the very best of all documentaries that I have seen yet, although I might add one small critical comment. By following the dialogue, it is self evident that this was filmed in 2012, while being released in 2016. It would be helpful to simply add dates into the subtitles, or anything similar, in order to place time in reference, with statements such as "...He has ruled for seven years...", etc.

It amazes me how quick people are to judge just on the emotions of the bride when she married Albert and saying he was cold. How is it the looks on ones face makes people jump to negative comments. I watched their wedding and only saw a very touching emotional young lady who truly loves her Prince. So many emotions run thru our hearts when we get married. It is a great undertaking. Let alone try and do it in the presence of millions. Princess Grace can be very proud of her son and what he has accomplished. May God bless them always. I have only positive and kind words to speak of them.

Prince Albert seems like a very gracious, sophisticated yet down to earth person, although his earlier escapades cost him some of his good reputation but not much. His position, though a very privileged one, is not so worthy of envy because I just don't like living my whole life sorrounded by bodyguards and dictated. But I love the royal family of Monaco and the Grimaldi and I wish for the very best in whatever they do
