Oh Scott!! You have been touched like no other. You channel Joe's soul in a most organic way, but all the while adding your own flavours that are absolutely spot on!! May your god bless you my friend..
@@ScottKinseyMusic It is my absolute pleasure. You need to understand that I am SUCH a Joe fan that I actually named my son after him! And thats the truth. I have - I also HAVE to add - been a massive fan of one Scott Kinsey. So much so that when he was playing several nights at Ronnie Scott's in London, that I came each night for both sets!! You elevated the soul. What a gift..... and how generous to share that gift... Thank You, sir!
In fact I have just remembered that I was living in Spain at the time but working in Dubai. I flew to London especially. And boy - was it worth it! You, me and the wonderful Kirk shared a couple of drinks at the bar. What a pleasure that was!! Keep well and all the best for the year ahead - for all of us!
@@ScottKinseyMusic Thanks for the reply. I thought there was an issue. You can still hear his parts pretty well. Good job on adjusting. A typical issue with live recording. Never know what you got till you get home...haha.
Hey Scott, that's a terrific performance of a WR classic, i wonder, how did you rip Zawinul's hook sample (the high-pitched singing thing)? Did you have a multitrack, or did you somehow extract it with melodyne?
Scott is a genius, the whole band is fantastic and their work is a wonderful hommage to Weather Report's masterworks

Thank you Jim!

I love this tune, one of the first WP songs I ever heard, and I was hooked.

There is so much great music from the Baked Potato on UA-cam.
Gergo. A one man bullet train. Fantastic.
Great music, playing and nice trippy animation. Y'all stay safe.

Ils sont trop bons ces gars là ... ! ! !
Badass!! I'd love to see you guys live soon
The sax is mixed low as hell on all these "Baked Potato" YT recordings? Everything else is spot on.
Yes unfortunately due to a recording error.. the saxophone didn't make the recording, we had to use ambient mics to get it at all! :(
