Pardon me , just curious as usual. Lovely city, indeed, Suzhou, very old, founded around 500 years BC by a Chinese Emperor. Yes, there is this legend-story; In a place where the city of Suzhou & Hangzhou presently are situated, in ancient time, there was a Heavenly Abode far above in the skies & clouds. One day, the Deities above decided to create the two blissful cities below to be inhabited by the WU-people. At that time & in many times to come, it was said & narrated that in the whole Universe you would not be able to find the prettiest romantic girls to marry with except in Suzhou & Hangzhou. Confidently speaking, I do find real beauties among the female gender of the Wu-people in our present days & I here extend my greetings to all my compatriot-sisters. One last word, the Wu people is really blessed. They had the only female Emperor, Wu Ze Tian, in the Tang Dynasty. I do not remember the historical period or events pertaining to her reign. You may do some research. Recommended: A River- cruise on a luxury-ship 4stars from Guilin to Yangsho, Food-buffet included, beautiful ( a few breath-taking ) mountainous landscape , then to Hangzhou city or Suzhou by train, bus-coach or plane. No moderation , please, for the Chinese Wu-cuisine, fabulous & awesome; you simply just do some regime when you get back home. Cheers !
