Wow! I'm not even half way through this upload but I must stop here to have my say! Such an interesting episode, the magnificence, the ancient settings, the traditional Chinese dress 汉服 hanfu and all the peripherals! Your mom looks like a Chinese empress and you the princess! in the, if I'm not mistaken, the Ming or is it the Tang dynasty couture!
Xi’an was formerly called Chang’an, and was the capital for many dynasties including the Han and Tang golden ages dynasties. Google search for “Japanese missions to imperial China” and “Japanese missions to Tang Dynasty”. Japan, Korea and Vietnam are collectively called the Sinosphere, with Japan mainly the Tang Dynasty culture replica and Korea being the Ming Dynasty replica. So if you want to revisit the golden ages like Han and Tang dynasties, visit Xi’an and Luoyang, their ancient capitals, and if you want to revisit the Chinese Ming Dynasty, visit its capitals Nanjing and Beijing. Google search for “Hanfu” and read over its history. Hanfu influenced the styles of traditional Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and Okinawan (formerly Ryukyu Kingdom) clothes. Noodles, dumplings, rice, rice wine, rice noodles, paper folding art, penzai, weiqi, hotpot, chopsticks, tea, tea ceremony, soy sauce, miso, bean curd doufu, all originated from China and thus are Chinese. It’s just that Japan tries to destroy Chinese culture, history and the whole nation that they fund massive propaganda misbranding all of these Chinese inventions as “Japanese” while turning around to call China “copycat”. Google search for “chopsticks invention, dumplings invention, lamian which the Japanese call “ramen” invention, tea invention, rice noodle invention, etc”. They are all Chinese in origin. Greetings from Los Angeles. Happy Chinese New Year.

I was in Xi'an for 6 days, about 3 months ago it was my second time there, the " Sleepless nights of Tang Dynasty " is amazing, very good-looking lights show in every corner of the place specially the fountain light show. We walked around for over 2 hours, definitely will go back again to Xi'an next year.
yeah after the makeup I realized why the Tang style really suits u guys😂😂 like ladies from 西域XiYu in Tang Dynasty, which is XinJiang and mid-Asia nowadays😂😂very very beautiful!
did u buy all the dress ? i thought most ppl just rent them and return them to the shop and get ur deposit back. i think tang dress usually dont wear pants, when they go to bathroom they just lift it up with 1hand and go for it XD
9:38 ah this is named after a very famous tv series from a novel: (12 ShiChen in ChangAn, 1 ShiChen is 2 hrs so Generally means one day in ChangAn). I really like it. And yeah, this one made XiAn so viral back then just like Harbin this year😂😂
5:27 "I thought she stick it into my head" I get what you mean. *Flashbacks of Alice's death* 😰 This was a very nice video, Zina. Greatly appreciated. Greetings and cheers from Mexico. 🥰
Welcome to Xi'an, It's really a beautiful city with many historical places. In Xi'an, you can experience the culture inherited from Tang dynasty, you can wear the gorgeous clothes in the style of Tang dynasty. And, I want a foreign friend, I'm a student, please comment me if you are going to travel to Xi'an, I could be your tour guide.
Wow mom and daughter look like empress and princess.
You both look super beautiful. Your mother is as dignified as a queen. Your Chinese is very good.
thank you
wow really? no wonder @@zinapunx
OMG!
I'm really happy to see someone introducing Chinese culture to native English speakers on UA-cam, and you are truly very beautiful.
❤
your mom looks like the empress!!! you look like a princess
I almost said 太后娘娘请安 when I saw her 😁
Right 😊
You ladies are beautiful in the ancient Chinese dress. The film crew should have captured you two to be part of the TV program,
maybe one day lol
Your day will come.
Your mandarin pronunciation and tones are amazing ❤

I would love to visit here to experience ancient China! The traditional dresses are gorgeous. You and your mother are beautiful
That is so cool that you and your Mother dressed in the time period from the Tang Dynasty, and documented it for us. You both looked magnificent.
Mother and daughter look so beautiful! Thanks for sharing this wonderful video. 😊
I wanna visit this place so badly!! Your mom and you both look so elegant ToT
after watching this video, this place is now on my travel plans.
welcome
You are georgous in ancient time and in present times..
💕
I thought you were renting the outfit. Didn’t know you can keep them. You and your mom look beautiful.

Both you and mum are so pretty 😊
In 630 AD, the Silk Road of the Tang Dynasty reached Rotterdam.European ancestors should have seen this kind of clothing
You look so beautiful in traditional Chinese dresses❤️

Tang dynasty dresses are beautiful, they remind me of the Korean traditional dresses and the ones from Napoleonic era.
Amazing

It's funny you mentioned geisha. I heard Japanese dress is like Tang dynasty frozen in time, and Korean traditional dress stays in the Ming dynasty
It feels like you two are in fantasy space.
