This is an insult... to be invited to speak and be asked about Elon Musk 90% of the interview.
Absolutely,,..beyond a point it became disrespectful to Jay I feel..
Jay Vijayan sir is Very Selfless mann
He didn't felt bad when asked about Elon
@@harshvardhanwagare5663 I think he realizes if he responded in any other manner it may come off disrespectful towards Elon, then he'll have bigger problems to deal with. Either way, I felt like there was more important questions to ask
@@oops262686 yeah especially toward the end, about the tweeting thing, you could tell for sure.
Typical Indian stereotypical mindset it is
Jay is a very relatable person..he epitomises the definition of average person scaling to heights by working o himself.
The interviewer should forget Elon and interview Jay. Sad.
Take Interview of Jay Vijayan for what he is and , not just because he has worked with Elon Musk
@TheTruthHarts but now when he is known, ask questions to him with some sense. He has a Inspiring story, especially for students
@@crownary3537 no buddy, mY its a vice versa stuff. He was humble enough to say that Tesla is one man army
@TheTruthHarts The whaaat????? Who wouldn't know the CIO of a Forbes No.1????
Exactly, saying "Dream coming true that Elon Musk coming & talking to you" is kind of insulting to his knowledge & experience he already had that time
@@rai371 what better can u expect from iit wimps, vijay is a inspiration and a proud NIITian
You are my Hero Jay Vijayan Sir.
this guy reminds me on one thing "know your shit damn well, execute them exceeding well".
We need to start thinking like entrepreneurs, not just job seekers.
Exactly!!!!!
@@pawangupta8024 Maybe you require industry knowledge I don't think being an entrepreneur requires you to have 9-5 job experience. Most successful entrepreneurs have never worked for anyone. There's a problem and you solve it. That is entrepreneurship.
@nidhi Vv Startup idea can be any thing solving problems or improving any existing service, important thing is have a mindset of creating things, then only we will leave better.
@nidhi Vv All new ideas are inspiration of previous ideas, iPhone is not a first touch or internet phone, Tesla not first EV makers.
@nidhi Vv sorry, I'm responding to 10 year old.
He's startup has entered unicorn club today
What startup
He is the next big player...one more thing Tesla is overhyped..
Tekion Corp.?
@@amans6504 Tekion
He is not indian.. he has American citizenship. So don't
What an accomplished man who's just a regular guy
he is opened up his human side. his insecurities. willing to excel..
Great guy- Humble, simple and result oriented.

@@AshikJonathan ok 😑
I don't know why so many comments blamed interviewer!! He has done a great job asking right questions especially when Jay hesitant to talk much about his start up at that point of time
Great job dear interviewer..
A really great and very humble guy just present at the wrong place giving interview to the irrelevant and uninterested audience
The man was born to rule. His dad is a famous
Politician in Tamilnadu, India.
Who?
Who
His father K Vijayan was general secretary of Tamil Nadu Congress committee
And was your’s a worker?
To techfest IIT ORGANISERS...
The interviewee has lot to offer, however the interviewer is often worried about his hair. We could have have learned more in this 58mins from Mr. JAY VIJAYAN. If someone who can converse with reasonable interest to extract quality information from Mr.Balan, the entire interview would have added more value for the time spent by all of us.
He did a good job all things considered, it's not easy to keep a conversation going for an hour, especially when it's with such a valuable guest.
Why wouldn't you be worried about your appearance when interviewing a high profile guest? It's not an easy task.
@@johnpulawski35 He was not even listening to Jay Sir, at one point he just started reading the paper in his hand
South Indians are seriously rocking in silicon valley
If Jay is still holding $TSLA, he might be having AT LEAST $400-$500 million in value as of today because since 2012 TSLA stock has surged more than 125 times.
Although I love Tesla, it is a lot over valued rn and the stock price is based on an emotional values of many investors, it might collapse in a few months
He left Tesla to have a startup of his own in india which is a major boost our make in India campaign. Not many do that given the company was still yet to hit the peak...
Sheesh should have pu chased tesla stock lol
@@krutarthhaveliwala7579 you are stupid and have not done your research. You Invest in reliance.
@@ally-hi4ut Look dude, I might be wrong but it's p/e ratio is over 1000 and if it continues to beat the earnings and at the same time grow the valuation it might balance out in the end. They could have chosen a better anchor
That boy offering flowers was wearing resonance jacket
I love this interviewer❤️❤️
Completely enjoyed whole interview 👌👌👌
This was very value adding video.
But why do we ask stupid questions in such great opportunity?
our media don't show these geniuses
ok, please don't throw around the G word like that.
Oooh..., these guys had no idea where Tesla was headed.
Automotive and Energy giant. 🔥
What’s the point of this comment?
Great human being....❤️
The interviewee is on a league of his own and instead of asking him questions, the audience just seems to be trying to get to Elon via Jay!!.. Common!
That's our third grade anchoring in India.
@@deepak5077 remember, they are iits students not professional anchors
He will definitely improve over time
I can tell from your comment that you did not watch the complete interview! Most of the interview is about Jay, his life, his thought process, his ventures and his perspective about things. Why do you guys always have to complain?
did you mean to say "Come on!" ?
@@gauravarya8952 lol
What a great personality 🔥
Incredible person 👍👍
Thanks for sharing this wonderful interview
Jay Vijayan, you really made it up to your name. Victorious! Jay Ho! I am not really focused while listening to interviews and talks but your talk is really inspiring, straight to the point, real-life challenges and solutions to it, and no BS. Will try to connect through LinkedIn with my social mobility startup idea. Maybe someone here can help me connect to you.
vera... vera... vera.... level sir... we brought that vision to life .. Now we have New vision
Mom I want Elon Musk
Honey, we have Elon Musk at home
Elon Musk at home:
Quite a fascinating personality...
I don’t get this . Elon musk himself said that tesla wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for jay. So why not interview jay for who he is instead of Asking about elon musk throughout
Have a good evening!Very cool, thanks
At least the questions asked to this accomplished person has to be sensible
Wonderful session
This guy is not interviewing Jai..
Wow...the auto generated subtitles are accurate !!
great talk.
The interviewer seems very uninterested what jay is mentioning..
We have 80% reservation in iit's n dream of them to become world's no1 engineering college.
If only dreams delivered results.
Good talk.
His father was also a big politician in INC Tamil Nadu
The central nervous system sounds more like online shop.
Agree elon musk is a human but Jay Vijayan company is also a unicorn. Why only questions on Elon musk only not his company
He said in the interview that his startup is in stealth mode. He don't want to disclose the idea at that time.
the anchor, i felt his voice is just like a female with that high pitch... also his body language wasn't good to be taking an interview with the great and gentle, jay vijayan sir with such best attire and personality...
13:35 ⭐️
bring the mic closer; the questions aren't audible at times. (walking away wondering if I am the only one who is bothered by this)
Did he is taking Interview of Jay vijyan or Elon musk
He is very well dressed and well spoken - unlike most South Indian business folks. Good for him!
Second last question seems inaudible
28:30
Spoonerism 😂
must watch for every one 34:00
With his very own startup I think tesla has got competition
Its a shit company, Tekion is not a great company. I worked there for last 2 years, and my advice would be to never work there. Full of politics
A South Indian, as humble as they can be even with so much accomplishments. In the same league of Raghuram Rajan, Sundar Pichai and many more.

That made no sense, GPT-3 is good in coding. I don’t believe anyone can be a genius that’s very subjective. Vice versa logical reasoning is more important than being good at a skill.
@@cardcode8345 As you said it's subjective, first of all idk how GPT-3 is connected to WARP(internal EPR), second of all you need both logical reasoning and high skill level to pilot a team who's fighting against time, so that's genius for me.

It’s not Orrrraacle - it’s O racle!
I think this interview should be taken by Ranveer Allahbadia. Then it would be more insightful than this.
