Hi Bob. I have sometimes thought suicide was the only option..... then I look at my two dogs and think... nope, I have to stick around for them. My dogs have literally saved my life as well as providing me with love and companionship. Thanks for sharing your depression struggle with honesty, compassion, and integrity.
@Susan Shearer, I think there are many people who have had the same thought, that suicide is a good option. I would never judge anyone for having that thought, as I have hoped I would never wake up again after my husband died. And although it is unlikely I will ever be a full-time nomad, I hope to at least be a vacation nomad. And like you, Bob has lightened my load. the wonderful people he interviews have also given me something to look forward to. I hope you won’t mind if I pray for you, and I wish you every good thing.
I took my German Shepherd service dog out on the road with me and in 12 days he started getting bloody nose so we had to come off the road but we had already sold our house so I have to move into a cheesy apartment. He died about the time the pandemic started from numerous cancers. I have never been the same not even with six dogs that came after him. Currently have a pretty nice little Siberian Husky just a year old. Looking at going back out on the road in our 21' travel trailer. I think that's the only thing that lifts my depression
I'm one of the few that has been too late to live, I'm a stroke survivor which has debilitated me cognitive function to persue the nomadic life. Now I am enjoying it through all of you guys out there in Your eyes. Thank you for sharing.
Kai, I suffered a long, slow decline of brain function, and have recovered enough to go. I'm so grateful, and wish you could join me for a good chin wag. I'll be thinking of you! Take good care. It's a long, hard trail, but we're tough!
Your fantastic your loving and giving and your curing your own depression by helping others! GOD IS BLESSING YOU BECAUSE YOUR DOING SO MUCH GOOD! Thanks for all you do.
I am setting out on my nomadic vision quest at the end of this month. I've been manifesting this lifestyle since my late teens, planning for it to happen at this exact age (early 50s), and the time has finally come to go! I'm starting out in my brand new Mazda SUV - I bought it for the safety and technology as I don't want to worry about breaking down or needing to learn how to repair things. I'll be car dwelling and tent camping until I order my Runaway Camper and go to FL to pick it up (planning for early Sept), then I'll be heading West to meet up with the like-minded people I've been following here on UA-cam for the past few years! I'm really looking forward to meeting you, Bob, and can't wait to find my place of service within the community. Peace!
Before you order your runaway trailer, take a look at the Weerooll trailers, they're lighter, stronger and cheaper it seems like to me. Good luck to you.
Buying a new vehicle doesn’t prevent breakdowns. All the new technology can be unreliable these days. You should always learn to make repairs on what is essentially the most important item you own.
You are an inspiration to many and a dream weaver who lives his dreams awake! As we all should. I've converted my 1998 mercury villager passenger van into an awesome tiny house on wheels. I have a bedroom, living room, kitchen bathroom with a bidet even to keep extra fresh, Thanks to you Bob and others who shared their experience and suggestions with me on you tube. Casey Roman, two meaner, and all the others i hope our paths cross someday! Keep up the great work. We appreciate you!
That is so amazing! 💖Good for you, what an awesome accomplishment. 💖 I see that this comment was written a couple of years ago, I hope that everything has worked out for you and that you are enjoying your life as you want to live it! 💖
I'm in a hatchback Subaru a tent and blm land that is fairly close to work. Even 52 miles round trip a day, the cost of rent in the closest town is still more than what I'm doing. Lake is close enough to use as a fridge with a waterproof bag, fire pit, propane stove and VERY QUIET! I'm never buying a house or renting an apartment ever again. Pretty soon I'm buying a van or a cheap box truck. I love this way of life, it's super cheap, fairly easy and I am totally free save going to work, which is only to get me enough to make ends meet and save for future travels.
Bob you are doing Great all this years, 😊 and now someone tells you you are not centered on the screen, he doesn't need to be in your business, you was fine since you sit in the shade, if you are on the center, right or left of the screen you are fine, what matters is that we can see you and hear what you have to say, even if we only can hear you we are happy to hear your voice, you are the one in charge here so please don't let people tell you do this or that. People around you need to respect you! We the Tribe Respect you! 😊 Bob thank you for the time and information that you give us, you are very much appreciated! We love you from Anaheim California 😊💕💞💟👍
Hey Bob, middle of the night and up watching your channel one after the other and celebrating that you are living the life you choose. I have a great friend, Camille, who is about to embark on the life you are living. Hubs and I are sixty two and we bought acres in the mountains and built a one room plus bath cabin over three years. It is just about completed and naysayers say constantly ...you can't do that....lol...seriously? at sixty two why not? I have had two cancer diagnoses and in treatment for second one now, other in remission. WHY would I wait for long term social security and sit in a house costing over a thousand a month for mortgage alone? Then add costs of electric and water and more then all I was doing was sitting in a tiny cubicle...but people think I can't sit in a tiny cabin. Well, setting out to prove them wrong. I realize this is not the same thing you are doing but thought process of naysayers and those trying to tell me I need multiple bathrooms and electric and wifi and oh what will you do about this and what about that just amuses me now. I quit my job, have insurance due to hubs ex military career. I have made a choice that makes sense for me. If someone wants a condo in the sky in the city, do it but why do we impose how someone needs to live? What is that thing that says you must do it my way. Shaming people is a game. We watch youtube on a large tv in our bedroom for now and realized I had not subscribed on my personal laptop. So did now to help you get that 300k. God bless you and all your caravan friends, juanita mae
You and your husband are AWESOME! 🙌🏻 Enjoy living your life the way that YOU have chosen to live it! THAT is REALLY living! I personally can Not fathom why anybody would want to live that “standard” life that you described above. I don’t understand why anyone would strive for such a mundane life. That to me, feels like a prison of sorts. Why is this the life that is expected of us and why are those of us that do not want that kind of life ridiculed? Good bless you and your husband, I wish the best for you both. 💖
Wow this video was full of great information. I was set on getting a class C before seeing this video and now I am not doing it. No way! Thank you Bob please take care of yourself.
FISH ON Chevy Silverado is one hell of a Beast! I love them; best Truck out there! I drove one at work for doing rounds and jobs in a park in maintenance and I fell in love!
So much great info! Thanks Bob. Losing nouns is not a sign of dementia, it's just something that happens & if we are under stress or not sleeping / eating well, it's worse. Don't sweat it.
TWO MORE FIRES: My mother stopped for lunch and discovered her Class A was on fire under the hood. The fire extinguisher didn't do any good. Soon, the fire was in the cabin, and all she could do was take pictures as the gas tank exploded, then the propane tank exploded. She lost everything (except the camera and the phenomenal pictures she was taking. Everything she owned in the world was gone. ---- A few months earlier, drove past an elderly couple by the side of the road, watching their Class C be consumed in flames. It was especially sad to see because the old woman was crying so hard as her husband tried to comfort her. ---- So for me, it's going to be the Cargo Van I'm saving for, nothing bigger, no way.
Definitely terrifying. I wonder if it was electrical? My Class C has been home since 2006. I feel very blessed to have her. I do sometimes wish I had only one engine to insure rather than 2 as I tow a Jeep also. Thank you to Bob for bringing this up and your additional info Tommy Paul. I'm so sorry your Mom had that happen.
@@Randylj1 Thank your for caring and for replying, Randy. Since only the steel frame sitting on the ground remained, there is no way to know the cause. My guess is a gasoline leak over the hot engine; because it was when she stopped at the restaurant the the engine burst into flames through the front grill, and those flames only laughed at her little fire extinguisher.
@@YanksandBritsProductions Yeah! For years, I had complained to her about her being so easily frightened by things, insisting on standing well back next to cover. But this time, her natural tendency for self-preservation really paid off! (Slap my mouth. I was so wrong.)
RE: CHOOSING A LIVING VEHICLE FOR A WALKER OR WHEELCHAIR. I have been planning my nomad life for 5 years now and have finally settled on getting a shuttle bus with a handicap lift. I will use that for personal entry and exit and for moving things in and out. After gutting the seats outing will have a big space with lots of big windows!! The big reason I do not favor a cargo trailer is safety. When I hit the road I will be a 71 yr old woman traveling alone. If I get in a situation that is uncomfortable, especially in the middle of the night, in a shuttle bus all I have to do is get into the driver's seat and leave. With a trailer I'd have to get out of the trailer into my tow vehicle and either hook up the trailer, maybe in the dark, or leave it. I love the shuttle bus option. Oh, and they are available very reasonably. Good luck!
My experience is, A person who has a lot to give, is of service to a cause... will find a lot more happiness, and will soon forget what bugs them. When we focus on what we can do for others...our perceptions shift. Isolation leads to rummination which can cause depression, in turn, a negative spirit. Community is good. Working for the community good, sharing from experience, is best drug to combat the blues. Experience is the best teacher.
I must say Bob you are a blessing to many many people. You give from your heart without expecting anything in return. You will be in my prayers God bless you
Hilarious Bob, I absolutely love your personality and all your friends. I look forward to your live feeds BC I get a few belly laughs for the week. Never stop being you! ♥️♥️
Bob, you probably just don’t have good auditory recall. You probably remember things better when you see them written down. That’s not the advent of dementia; that’s your learning style.🧠
I haven't fully committed yet, I still live in my hometown. I live in an RV and I'm trying to teach myself how to live well like you guys. This lifestyle has always been on my mind for my whole life. I feel it! I watch your shows and I have to say I love you people already and I don't even know you. You seem like a kindred spirit to me watching you, learning from you and meeting new people through your videos. This is a very great Channel you have and I greatly appreciate you. I hope and pray that maybe we may meet someday. It would be a real pleasure. Once I think I learn how to live off of this land like you guys do or at least have a little more confidence. I am believe I'm going to do what you are. I've been thinking about making videos too but I'm very ignorant when it comes to all the high-tech stuff. God bless you and may your travels and Adventures be excellent!
For small SUV's, from my research I'd recommend Toyota Rav 4 hybrid (40mpg, run forever, good power, AWD available), or Honda CRV hybrid which doesn't get as good of gas mileage but would probably last forever and is worth checking out. Ford Explorer hybrids are pretty good too, I think you'd have to test drive the models and see what you like. Hybrids definitely seem like the way to go if you like to travel! I'm not sure if the Rav 4 has the same kind of idle mode climate control as a Prius, but that would be a huge upside. You could probably tow a small trailer (like a teardrop or tent trailer), do the rooftop tent thing, or put in a basic build...tighter than a van, but serviceable. This seems like it would be a good compromise between a Prius, a van, and a 4wd. I'm just window-shopping though ;)
Bob, thank you so much for sharing the email about depression and suicidal ideation. I felt as if you were reading my story. I'd left a comment for Carolyn that was right along the EXACT verbage. Thank you for being vulnerable enough to share your own struggles with depression. I can't tell you how much that meant to me. From the bottom of my heart I appreciate all you do for people ... especially women. You're just simply AMAZING! Hope to get on the road by the RTR 2019 ... and hug your neck lol! (It's a southern saying 😉.) Thank you ... thank YOU! 🦋🌻🌲🦆🌈🌵🦋

Hi Bob! Long time viewer, first-time commenter! Thank you for your endless videos. You are a joy to watch and are providing lots of help for people like me who are saving $ up for the chance to live life on the road! I've got tiny savings, but need to save more in order to make a good purchase. It's been so hard to even find a van! I'm going to stay patient though and wait for the right ride to come my way!
July 23, 2022. I watched and enjoyed this three years ago. Now I feel like I am learning important things all over again. Bob, you are a fault of knowledge and bless you for sharing so freely with all of us. ❤️
I had a 93 jeep Grand Cherokee. I took out the back seat, 4-inch lift, Detroit Locker in the rear, and bullet proof custom skid plates. I specifically found the 4 l engine with the Toyota trans because it is a 300,000-mile marriage. I had room to sleep and the ability to go anywhere I wanted. I tested my creation on the five most difficult trails in Moab Utah. The skid plates proved their worth. Enough clearance but not so much lift to decrease off canter stability.
Just now watching your video it's been over a year since you made it but I just have to tell you I just love you I think you are so funny and so smart and I love watching your videos old and new. Keep up the good work you do so much to help so many
Bob thank you for sharing your intro personal story on depression. My Gram use to say to me when I would loose myself in the service of others, your depression will change. She was correct... Bob it has only been in the last couple of years that I have witnessed via your videos, your dream of successfully helping others come to fruition. Carry on Sir... Agape’
hi how are you? from Oklahoma ......I am 66 retired,,and I am really considering selling everything and buying a van...this is awesome that you love it and helps me make up my mind.
Living in Kenai. Been a van lifer for 3 plus years. I got started kind of like you did. I was a livestock broker and had to be away from home several nights a week. Started sleeping in the back seat of my 1989 F350. It was gorgeous. This was the hook.
I have been in Oregon and the pollen is horrible - it’s everywhere. That’s when we found out my daughter is allergic to ponderosa pine trees; the hard way. Summer for Texas and Spring for Oregon. We still talk about the snow at crater lake and the thick pollen. But what a beautiful place. Enjoy your favorite camping spot.
Your helping a lot of people with 100% accurate info . Your a very good man.I relate to your engine knowledge the most. Overwork a gas engine that is to small for an Rv and an Exhaust valve will burn before its time, $ 2000 repair. Or it will overheat the Automatic transmission and slip the clutch packs out of it, $4500 repair. Most any repair on a Diesel is Between $1.000 -$5.000, also Diesel fuel is more Expensive than gas fuel is and additionally, for the newer Deisels you must buy and add DEF. [ Diesel Exhaust Fluid ) TOO many hidden costs with the Diesel for folks on a limited budget. Thanks for what your doing.
Places where alcohol flows freely will decrease safety, increase annoying behaviors and most like create problems. Not sure if anybody shared this in the video...have a plan A B and C if you park, an alternate parking place to go to. if A does not work out backup B or C might. It's a little bit more work yet being proactive pays off.
People who criticize buses always talk about big diesel buses. There are also small van fronted gas buses which are essentially vans. Mine is a short Chevy 3500. No problems, plenty of room and you can stand up. $2600.
I'm a big Ford person, but I know that many Fords have an issue with their wiring harness. Heater goes, auto windows go, many automatic things go because of the wiring harness.
I wanna be like Bob when I grow up. I adore your generous spirit and always telling us the truth about all the situations you share with us. Thanks for all you do.
Older suburbans make great tow vehicles and you can load em up. Get the 5.7 for gas mileage and cheap parts. I bought my 1999 for $3500 and have put 30,000 miles on it so far. Looking for cargo trailer to convert for cooking...ect.
I have had depression my whole life. my depression has gotten worse. when I seen you on utube, I also seen hope. I can't wait to get on the road. I'm trying so hard to sell the home and get all packed. can't wait to see you on the road. 😊
Bob, when you wonder about the value of your own life, I hope you’ll stop and think of the countless lives you have changed for the better, stop and remind yourself of all the hopeless souls you have given hope to! You have accidentally found the mission you were born to do-something many of us never know the joy of. Read the letters, listen to the voices of those you have inspired, and know how much YOU matter! ❤️
Onward & upward! I wonder why those motor homes are burning up. I'm sure you could speak with a number of Fire Marshals &, perhaps, get some insight into this issue. My first thought is that they are not necessarily neat & trim inside, I.e. cluttered. Additionally, most owners don't do proper maintenance, or do it wrong. NOT BEING JUDGMENTAL! I fit in both categories, but Hubster knows quite a bit about maintenance, having been a diesel mechanic for years.
I think the blanket answer about school buses was a little off. I have 6 window bus with a Chevy 3500 van front.. It has a gas engine. So it's no different than most RV's. $2600, 100k miles, 2003. In excellent condition, freshly serviced, new tires. Picked it up from government auction and drove it home 700 miles from NJ (with a stop in MD to visit family) to KY no problems. Planning on skooliepalooza and the RTR this year.
5th wheels are a true $ Pit!!! They are made of the cheapest materials available. We bought a beautiful one new for 65K and had nothing but problems. It was a 2006 Grand Junction and we finally gave up and sold it! It lived in our climate controlled garage and wasn’t used often, but we had to put thousands into repairs over the years & the roof looked like it was going to have problems. We have a really great truck so don’t want to buy a van but are afraid to purchase another trailer.
My 97 Dodge Diesel Truck has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. I have always been a real stickler for maintenance. But at 22 years old, the only problems I have ever had with it has always been due to normal wear and tear. Only failure with it was the radio! I like you have a real dislike for Ford products. I had a brand new Mercury once that within 3 years, it was a total piece of crap! I bought it new and took care of it, but it was crap. I have also had great luck with Chevy's, My last Tahoe was 16 years old and had 260K on it before it developed enough problems to get rid of it. Just my 2 cents worth! Realy enjoy your videos.
I would love info on a Chevrolet cutaway shuttle bus, I got a 2001 I want to convert, but need more info???? Looks like a school bus, the windows drops down and that I really like for air flo, on the 10 foot living space behind the drivers seat. Wish I could post a picture.....Love your videos, so much advice and information, I missed the live so asking here PLEASE....♥♥♥ BLESSINGS♥♥♥
Hello. The nomad life would not work for me but I admire the life style. However, your videos are providing tons of info and inspiration for my tiny house that I am building on my land in southern Arizona and the temp camper I will be calling home for a while. Thank you so much.
I think the mistake people make is that going full-time in RV will deliver them from depression. It is important to emphasize the fact that you bring the same perspective you have on life (depression, negativity, boredom) to RV life and cannot leave it in the stick and brick community. You are who you are and ONLY you can control who you are and you travel with you so changing from within is needed folks!
Pamela Quesnel Depression-true, clinical depression-is an illness, not a perspective. Please educate yourself. Telling someone that their depression is a choice is insulting.
Frank Lloyd Wright. Now that's a beautiful dream. Been watching you since the beginning, and live the evolution! Also love Maine. Hope you get to build that cantilever container home soon. ❤
Hi Bob, first time ever commenting. Ramiro in Surprize Arizona. Been watching you for about a year now. Thanks for all the good info you provide. Working towards retirement and looking forward to the nomad life. Thanks for everything. You are a true inspiration. I'll be retiring in 5 years. Learning as much as I can now to be ready for the ultimate freedom in retirement. Take care.😂🎉😊
I cant stress enough having really good insurance as nomaders...even if you have to take out renters insurance with a friend or relatives address. My storage unit insurance covers goods in transport. There are ways around it but be protected
You need a cdl or at least a chauffeur’s to drive a box truck, step van, city bus, or school bus. And you need weight and other specifics on them too. They need to be registered and insured also. They are industrial vehicles.
I will be there very soon -my son is working on the 93 ford van I just bought - a great mechanic who believes the 90s were better less tech to worry about putting new transmission (from wrecked van) known owner how fortunate am I - he has gone through everything replaced all needed will soon work on living area which I plan to work on all I can - his skills are great - I am a want a be - but want to be involved. RV BORN
I just had a checkup at AM Solar of the 130 w panel they installed in June of 2009 on my 2005 Leisure Travel van and in 10 years, the Kyocera panel had lost only 0.2, which they said is phenomenal. The typical lifespan I have heard of is 25 years on solar panels.
My husband just came out of retirement in march to work at a job 15 minutes from our home. It’s awesome. When we moved here 6 years ago we had no idea this big job would come to a town next to ours. It’s a huge blessing. We are glad God worked that our and just in time too. Our youngest daughter is finishing up her doctorate in pharmacy and she needed our financial help to get through it. I always told my Girls God will make a way. And he has. She’s going to have student loan debt but with any doctor in pharmacy or medical you will. the big issue is being able to afford a home in those first few years after graduating. But we got that covered! Nothing wrong with living in a small Rv or tiny house on our property until she’s financially stable. And dang I wish I could of had her salary wow ! She’s not going to have to worry. I was in healthcare but I became disabled at 47. And now I’m on disability but my husband who is an electrician is making good money. Praise God ! We bought a class A fix it up took one trip in it ( Hated It ). Sold it making around 2 k profit. I’m a van lady. I’ve had one for 40 years. So I want a class B. We might buy one this year. Move our daughter with it to where she’s doing a residency. Then we will do a conversion . Simple conversation. I have everything to do it. I have gorgeous cedar for the countertop. And a sink. And just all the little things , solar ect.. I thought about a class C and a short bus. But I know I can count on a van. I would love to travel one day. My hubby is an electrician so he can work anywhere. And we are close to being able to just have him work a little thought out the year and travel the rest. One day! I’m just not going to leave our huskies, maybe with 2 but not 4. I love Siberian huskies! But I think I might want an Australian shepherd a small one one day. All mine are rescued and we are really bonded. Mr wells you are the best ! Maybe one day I’ll met you. I hope so. If not here on earth maybe in heaven one day. But I think we both have a few decades lefts so it’s possible. Thank you for all you do leslye
one day a few years back i read that Nutmeg is a cure for memory issues so i went out bought me a jar of organic nutmeg and everytime i have a cup of coffee i put one or two shakes of nutmeg in my coffee you could do this with any drink it was the only way i thought i could add this amazing spice to my menu of foods to eat ... i started this in about 2013 and i tell you this , i truly believe it has caused me a huge memory improvement .. there are other things one can do for good memory health also but the Nutmeg is the one thing i stayed faithful to and i do think thee is something to this ... try it.
Thanks,Bob! For being open and honest. I have been working on down sizing my belongings for several months. I am bipolar, on my meds, I am doing better. My back is bad so I am trying to get disability started. I am looking foward to bringing my dog and tools to help do builds for others. I was a carpenter for 10yrs and Drove over the road 29yrs.
100% correct about RV money pits, ive had them all, RV class and B and cargo vans etc...My gut tells me im to be happiest in a van and I have the mechanical ability to do most anything myself and the tools...I would never invest in an RV again
Living nomadically is most definitely not for the faint hearted. I’ve been in my rancho el Rae, 16 ft.1975, for 500$ and have done most of the restoration and am still fixing it. I knew most was just minor but it still needs to have things done three years later. I have no regrets.
So I have another comment on another issue. Staying cool. Check out artic air. It is a portable swamp cooler at Walmart for about 40 bucks. It pulls 9 watts on high if you don't turn the light off, but it won't work in high humidity environments. In dry conditions it makes the heat tolerable and at night it will actually get your van to cold. I live in grand junction Colorado and so far it's been very reliable and we see days in to the high 90s. Just remember that it takes water, so you will need to add at least 1/4 gallon per day to your reserve
Bob, when the HOWA minivan plans are ready, I would love to use them so I can hire someone do a build for my minivan. I'd be happy to pay or donate for the use of your plans. I cannot do the work myself, and it will be so wonderful to have plans so I can show a carpenter exactly what to do in my Sienna. Many thanks!
Hey Bob been thinking bout a home on wheels 4 ever. Class A, class C . I hauled rvzz 4 A longtime, and pick up trukks get tight!! I believe a van is thee go to vehicle. They hardly ever leak unless ya got a super beater . Anyway ,yah a van in my book is hard 2 beat

Casey Roman, two meaner, and all the others i hope our paths cross someday! Keep up the great work. We appreciate you!
That is so amazing! 💖Good for you, what an awesome accomplishment. 💖
I see that this comment was written a couple of years ago, I hope that everything has worked out for you and that you are enjoying your life as you want to live it!
Eleanor
I'm happy for you 😊
You and your husband are AWESOME! 🙌🏻
Enjoy living your life the way that YOU have chosen to live it!
🙌🙌🙌🙌 Kudos to you and your husband i hope you break the chains of society and live the simple life you choose ♥️
Wow this video was full of great information. I was set on getting a class C before seeing this video and now I am not doing it. No way! Thank you Bob please take care of yourself.
I know this is an old one but I loved your sincere / personal understanding of depression. We need a community and you've been an amazing example 🌻
I hate to admit it...(being a Toyota guy) but my '03 Chevy Silverado with the 5.3 has been running like a champ since day *ONE*
FISH ON Chevy Silverado is one hell of a Beast! I love them; best Truck out there! I drove one at work for doing rounds and jobs in a park in maintenance and I fell in love!
Best Van out there!
Toyota gal myself. Own 3. Id.buy a Chevy truck only the older models though!
Glad to know your mother wasn't injured. I'm sorry she lost everything. :(
Definitely terrifying.
@@jmr152 Thank you for caring. :) My brother bought her a new Class A.
If I had a billion dollars I would still choose to live the way you do.....I'm one day closer to getting there!! Thank you Bob!!!🙏🏻
YES,
Bob Wells you also saved my spirit with your message.
I know you dont like the word,
I love you.
Glad to be here as well, and doing some catch up on vids, I missed.
Thanks for all you keep doing for all of us, Bob Wells. 🙏🏼🐾💫
Bob, you probably just don’t have good auditory recall. You probably remember things better when you see them written down. That’s not the advent of dementia; that’s your learning style.🧠
Also, be careful of cooking food in aluminum. Linked to Alzheimer's
(It's a southern saying 😉.)
Thank you ... thank YOU!
🦋🌻🌲🦆🌈🌵🦋
yathanks for your show. ... I love it!!!
Thanks for all the great information. Congratulations on 300,000.
Hi from Pennsylvania. I camp with a truck and a teardrop, and am just learning about solar.
You reference a fast jet pack. Can we get the particulars on that?
Which van? I heard good thing or being brain washed to look at Nissan or RAMs.
🥺🥺

Hi Bob! I am so thankful for your channel and all the information that you freely share!
Thank you for sharing your personal struggles and knowledge! You are a huge help and a wonderful inspiration to so many of us !!
Keep up the good work you do so much to help so many
Bob, you just keep on talking, I could listen for hours. You are not only informative but a pleasure to listen to!
kc.. you should not be camera shy. you are definitely camera worthy. thanks guys for all you do.
You are the best Bob!! Thanks for everything!!
Fantastic show. My thank's to YOU all . PEACE...bubbles...
Agape’
hi how are you? from Oklahoma
......I am 66 retired,,and I am really considering selling everything and buying a van...this is awesome that you love it and helps me make up my mind.
Hello from Monticello FL. Really enjoy your videos. Hope some day to live the nomadic life. Obligations keeping me stationery.
Living in Kenai. Been a van lifer for 3 plus years. I got started kind of like you did. I was a livestock broker and had to be away from home several nights a week. Started sleeping in the back seat of my 1989 F350. It was gorgeous. This was the hook.
The bottom of the lake shows up very well, including the cluster of rocks on the bottom in the forefront of the picture.
This is perfect! So much great information -- thank you, Bob and team, and little puppy.
Thanks Bob, KC, Suzanne and all. You all help all of us, more than you know.
May the force always be with you Bob!
People who criticize buses always talk about big diesel buses. There are also small van fronted gas buses which are essentially vans. Mine is a short Chevy 3500. No problems, plenty of room and you can stand up. $2600.
Thank you Bob, I love the escape, casita, and scamp! Choices, choices, choices🤔
Great generous job Bob! Thank you
I have had depression my whole life. my depression has gotten worse. when I seen you on utube, I also seen hope.
Congrats to the winners of the T-shirts. Thanks for all your knowledge, Bob!
Aww Kona is so darn cute! 🙂 Thanks for showing her to us.

This was one the best videos you have made Bob, informative & emjoyable~loved the partner dancing at end lol!
Excellent video I was wondering if you could show Casey a little more we know she's your right hand person thanks again
I cant stress enough having really good insurance as nomaders...even if you have to take out renters insurance with a friend or relatives address. My storage unit insurance covers goods in transport. There are ways around it but be protected
You’re a blessing Bob
I missed the Live Chat. But this was a GR8T video Bob. Thanks👍🚐🚌✌
Hi Bob greetings from St. Louis Missouri this is the queen
You need a cdl or at least a chauffeur’s to drive a box truck, step van, city bus, or school bus. And you need weight and other specifics on them too. They need to be registered and insured also. They are industrial vehicles.
Hey Bob, great video.. FYI Ford has never stud behind there products. If the problem is a few $$ to repair you're good to go, 500 or so plus your sol.
Yes I can see all the way to the bottom. Great picture.
RV BORN
I read that the output from solar panels decreases 10% per year so buying used may be disappointing...
RV, because you could stand in it. Be continually blessed!
"Ford 6 liter diesel, you buy it and you what for it to blow up". hahahahaha I love your honesty Bob , you're the best 👍
A six litter, we used to call it a sick litter, and a 6.4, we called that a sick 4😅
Thank you for all you do leslye
one day a few years back i read that Nutmeg is a cure for memory issues so i went out bought me a jar of organic nutmeg and everytime i have a cup of coffee i put one or two shakes of nutmeg in my coffee you could do this with any drink it was the only way i thought i could add this amazing spice to my menu of foods to eat ... i started this in about 2013 and i tell you this , i truly believe it has caused me a huge memory improvement .. there are other things one can do for good memory health also but the Nutmeg is the one thing i stayed faithful to and i do think thee is something to this ... try it.
Bless you, Lily! Thank you for your open mind.
Hi Bob…… Ohio….. love your show!! Life long camping, wish I had a GMC van!! 💁🏼♀️
Exactly why we are going to buy a short bus schooley and build it out!
You’re such a kind person...God bless you...some days I’d like to run away too.
100% correct about RV money pits, ive had them all, RV class and B and cargo vans etc...My gut tells me im to be happiest in a van and I have the mechanical ability to do most anything myself and the tools...I would never invest in an RV again
Thank u for the advice
Yes. I am alive when i watch your videos.
I plan to buy a class c & do. Some serious camping
Living nomadically is most definitely not for the faint hearted. I’ve been in my rancho el Rae, 16 ft.1975, for 500$ and have done most of the restoration and am still fixing it. I knew most was just minor but it still needs to have things done three years later. I have no regrets.
Congratulations Bob! You went above and beyond 300K subscribers 🎉
Just love your show and you! Keep spreading truth and love~
something else good for a electric wheelchair is a toy hauler RV....it could be a small one
The Ford V8, before 1996 is one of the best engines. I got 380,000 on my thunderbird.
Hi bob i am just starting out buying my van and hope to see you some time thanks for all the information God bless you and Cody
Hello Bob! Just want you to know that I appreciate all your videos. I also believe that you are the godfather or king of Nomadic Living! Anyway, I am desperate & frustrated Nomad. As soon as I get my stimulus check it'll be my down payment to an old van....and I'll finally living free. I am living in my retirement phase of life and also a Disabled US Army Veteran. I appreciate the awesome thing with lives you've helped. You're in the front lines of everyone making this change. Blessings.
So true. Hope things are going better for you now.
