Fantastic. I've got a couple granular synth apps, but this one is a standout for the amount of control and features it offers, and the interface is very easy to use, plus it sounds great.
You can control the play position and other parameters using AU parameters. I have also added a new LOOP recording mode so it can be used more as a granular effect when loaded as an effect plugin, however not done a MasterClass on this yet.
@@PaultheMusicMan Nice. I see the option. Looking forward to the next video. Going to experiment with using LFO's to modify the parameters. I noticed that using external LFO behaves a lot differently than the LFO's within the matrix panel.
@@edzielinski Exposing and directly adjusting values in the mod matrix doesn't seem like the right thing to do since the mod matrix only allows values between -100 and +100 which doesn't give you the same resolution as using knobs.
Thanks Paul, awesome granular synth! Just boughtit. the only thing I miss is live input, real-time granulation of the audio input. I think that would open a lot the possibilities. One of my most used features in iDensity and Spacecraft. Do you plan to add this feature?? Thanks!
I am addicted to WaveGlade on the Mac to the point that I'm not using Falcon or Omnisphere for granular synthesis. I did discover once you bounce the recording then slow it down. It's almost like a whole new world sound.. Is it possible to have a choice of not being Temp synced , so I can slow down the tempo on wave glide. I've done something similar with Avenger VPS it's like going into the belly of the beast.😀😀😀
Oh VPS Avenger is an awesome app, bought a copy myself last Christmas. The WaveGlide is tempo synced if the nodes are set to beat, otherwise they play at a static speed in seconds. Each node now has a pitch, so you can pitch everything down an octave that way.
