As a returning player to XW, I gota say I'm loving the new art work style on the backs of the pilot cards in 2.5! Almost want to store them all in a display frame of some sort when I'm not using them...
I like the standardized loadouts. Makes for quick games with my kids. I don't play competitively, so it's perfect for kitchen table games.
Played this with my father yesterday, he smoked me with imperials. Lando was a lot of fun to fly! It felt very thematic

It is not that it is loud. It just sounds like the music I play when I am trying to drop a heavy.
PSA: You need the first Hotshots & Aces pack for that one Gina Moonsong-specific pilot token to play her BoE version... Yes, owning a Rebel conversion kit, B-wing expansion and Phoenix Cell pack is not enough to play all B-wings in this scenario. Other missing pilot tokens in this scenario pack are Wedge (I6), Lando, Braylen and Soontir, so make sure you have these already.
New stuff, same thing
Out of all the scenario packs released so far this one definitely needs a deluxe version/upgrade with a custom battle mat and miniatures for the bridge and turrets.
I think these scenarios are so cool. would love to see a set up/play through of them

Nice to see this coming out. I haven't played xwing in awhile. Loved 2.0 before the 2.5 update. Haven't played much since then
I'm glad x-wing is getting some new content
I dream of a scenario pack like this for Armada. The hardest part about getting new players into the game is making it fun and thematic and not so competitive.

Heroic Sacrifice
After you perform a slam action, roll 5 attack dice. Each large ship, huge ship, and scenario feature at range 0 suffers 1 hit damage for each hit/crit result, bypassing
shields. Then this ship is destroyed.
You can perform slam actions even while stressed.
Looks fun
This is the scenario I always dreamt about but never imagined they would make.
Looks like we’re still, year 3, waiting for AMG to do their homework and figure out how 2.5 should work without having studied 2.0…this ‘NEW’ math isn’t adding up! 😂
I’ve been using that new Wedge and he can be brutal.
I really like the new art for these ships! I do recognize some older stuff as well. Scenario seems fun
I plan to use this as a first part of a Yavin battle actually. The star destroyer bridge will proxy a "deflection tower"
Can't wait to pick this up and try it out.

I love these scenarios as a empire player its so easy to get my friends into the game, just by asking hey you wanna try to blow up the deathstar and now they can blow up a star destroyer
We like to play naratively with my group, this pack will be usefull to us !

Probably a dumb question, but why dont the awing pilot cardboard pieces have their firing arc filled in red like all the other ships do?
Legion needs upgrade packs like this. Like multiple battle force upgrades per faction. Like if republic came out with an upgrade pack that had the 501st command cards, Kashyyk defenders with command cards, a 212th battle force since we have cody now. Rebels could have scarif, hoth and endor. Empire could have the same exact thing.

Having just recently played a mission in Hotac/FGA where you attack a star destroyer, a cardboard bridge and four turbolasers feels..... meh.

I’m watching this and i’m thinking that could be so great but then i’m starting to think about x-wing core game and i’m losing interest. x-wing 2nd edition lost me sadly 😢

Disney Star Wars did immense damage to the franchise. Makes sense that they don't want to invest in any ships from those movies.
Another scenario pack from AMG. Basicly all we get from AMG. Just more and more disappointed with the current state of the game.
