I Think the Grizzlies made a beautiful history in the NBA, the game is not just about winning titles, they had a strong identity and that´s very important too

Grizzlies were giving the warriors problems. Were up 2-1 on them in WCF. 2013-2017 grizzles were top 10 team in the league and played a style of game everyone else had to adjust to and were great at making games low scoring and physical. Grit and Grind had a singular, specific origin, there is no ambiguity about it. The game that Tony Allen entered the starting lineup against Oklahoma City in early 2011. In postgame interview he was asked about his performance. He said, "all heart... grit... grind." That was the moment. Before then, there were no signs, no shirts. After that, it began to spring up and by the 2011 playoff upset of #1 seed, it was a local phenomenon because it powerfully, positively captured the local self-identity of circumstantial hardship and the hard work just to compete and make ends meet.

The problem with the Grizzlies (and sadly most low-market teams in the league) is that they can’t get big name players. Memphis was never able to get a good/great SF with a reliable 3pt shot. Every time they were looking good in the playoffs, opposing teams would just put big bodies in the paint and make it hard for Zach and Marc, who really had nobody to kick it out 🤷🏽‍♂️.
    Imagine this lineup:
    Conley
    Allen
    Durant/George
    Zbo
    Marc

Hiya Andy. Charlotte Hornets, the eternally cool in the 90s, but never had any real success since would be great to highlight as they've drafted poorly for many years and best player in the last 20 years was Kemba who they didn't offer a max contract to!

One of my favorite teams to watch back in the day besides my lakers and the san antonio spurs. Matter of fact the grizzlies were like the second version of the spurs as they played defense like the spurs slowed the pace down and could play with any team. Unfortunately they just couldn't do much on offense which was a shame.

rudy gay not panning out really hurt them. He was that last peice that they always needed. A guy they can count on to get buckets, be a versatile 2way wing and carry the load in the clutch. If they found a 3 to replace rudy, they may have won.

As a die hard Grizzlies fan, people used to hate our “boring” style of play. No team EVER wanted to play them in the playoffs though. If they could have added a few more shooters back then, and never traded Rudy Gay for Tayshawn Prince the year they made the WCF smh, they would have definitely made a finals appearance! especially if they were in the East. I think the best Grizzlies team was the team that lost to the warriors in 2015, Conley missed game 1 but came back with a broken face and they were up 2-1 on the dubs, had conley played game 1 they could have MAYBE been up 3-0 against the warriors): Im excited for Ja and JJJ though! And we traded Parsons garbage contract!!!! We will hav ALOT of cap space next summer.. #WEDONTBLUFF

should of picked harden over thabeat the next year after mayo in 09..mayo was projected to be the next kobe lite...so I get drafting him.....the same harden who killed them in 2011 when they should of made the west finals without him but choked a home 3 ot game away.....ironic..harden z bo conley gasol battier mayo arthur allen young greivis gay haddadi powe carroll...that team would of made noise in 2011 maybe made the finals......not much size but they were versatile on the wings with harden....harden was a huge key to losing gay cause with harden you dont need gay mayo battier young greivis carroll you have your core of allen conley z bo harden and gasol...and you find the bench afterwards
