I am Korean American and every Thanksgiving would be like this at my home. However this year my med school decided to have finals the day after Thanksgiving so I decided to stay on campus. I watched this while eating my dinner in the library and it almost brought me to tears. Felt like I was back home :,). Happy Thanksgiving so grateful for this community

What college or school is open to have finals the Friday after Thanksgiving? That's messed up and sounds intentionally discriminatory against the near entirety of American culture. That's super messed up. I'm sick of them taking away every single thing, renaming it or destroying it just because a "white person" was involved. This is getting to the point of Marxist Nazism.
I mean I guess they closed for the holiday but who wants to go back into school just for one day before the weekend breaking up time a families are together, traveling, out of town, etc. That's just not cool.

Happy Thanksgiving! I always love to see the joy of your parents trying new foods/new food combinations, even if they don't go well! It's very honest and genuine to see that everyone has their preferences and not everything goes well together. I grew up with authentic Mexican food and when I branched out to new food I learned that homemade tortillas don't go with EVERYTHING 😂
