We also went to the other side of the swamp too, to Stephen Foster, That video is in 2 weeks, slightly better with more possibilities. We will be going back!!
Thank you for showing us a great stop along the way to Florida. You mentioned Route 77. Any alternative suggestions to Route 95 are welcome. Enjoy the Sunshine State! And thanks for the traveling breakfast suggestion too.
I will never drive I-95 again. Google maps said I-95 to my home was 8hrs 25min(If there are no accidents), an Alternative US highway was 10.5hrs. I took a deep sigh and took the US hiway, I made it home in 7hrs, 45 mins. And I've never been able to make it on I-95 without some long stop for an accident or something. We went 301 out of Florida to 441 to Maybe 301 again.. Anyway it was long, straight and empty of cars & Trucks. Easy 65mph almost all the way with a few nice little towns to stop for gas and food and to stretch. This all may be in 1/27's video.
@@GoingNoWhereFast I've traveled 301. You can see that it was "the" highway in days gone by. Old abandoned buildings and billboards. A slice of americana.
The state parks in Georgia are all very nice. They're clean and well maintained although a bit expensive. I get a break for being a resident old fart though. There are several WMA sites in the state too. I don't think I would stay at that park only because the sites are a little too close for me but good for overnight while passing through. Better then those commercial joints. Best part is the temperature. In North Georgia, we're expecting 3-6" of snow on Sunday, 1/16/22. Being a damn yankee, it's always entertaining watching folks who aren't used to snow trying to walk and drive in it. As always, love your videos!
YA, Our Forcast is 10 inches of snow.. we shall see!! It hasd surprised me with how nice the parks are. This one was obviously a little pressed for space, but they tried by angling the sites. We enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment !
Yep, thats a good way to make a longer trip, stop and go. Nice park. I'm glad Akela finally found his stick. Thats what I do with granola, grab 2 bags and mix them. Good in yogurt too. Be well. Happy New Year!😊👍
As a rule, SC has no gas tax, so its generally cheaper, but of course they gouge you near the borders. But I use GasBuddy to see what the price is along my route
I've given up on Key West. A Bridge that connects a lot of over expensive islands. Every Time I make reservations, it spawns a Hurricane (3 times). I'm going to let them rest from my hurricanes!! Maybe in 2024! We just went to Tampa Area
I don't believe they have tent exclusive sites, but there were a couple of people in tents camping there. And you have the option of the electricity even in a tent. But of course you end up paying for it even if you don't need/use it.
It seem I remember Cortland county always had the lowest gas prices when I was traveling around the state. Truth is, 10 cents isn't going to make much difference, but 30 cents sure does!
Georgia has great state parks. Laura S Walker has good trails for walking and biking. Also near the Okefenokee Swamp for further exploration!

Beautiful campground but surprisingly busy for December!
It’s on the way to Florida. And it’s during a holiday season. So I think it gets a lot of traffic going down that way. Thanks for coming
This place looks really nice. Another gem of a place. I would fish that place.
Wait for the video in 2 weeks!! This is just a primer!! LOL
Great trip stay safe and keep doing thing’s that makes you happy my friend!
Where's the fun in that?! LOL... You too my Friend!
Looks like a nice R V park thank for posting really enjoy ur videos, thank you.
Thanks for watching! Some of these parks along the Snowbird Routes seem to be more for RV's than for campers..
Rick, sounds like your breakfast cereal is something I might use to make muffins out of. Thanks for Sharing. Stay Safe. Stay Healthy.
Yes, they are a muffin that has no flour... yet !! LOL Thanks for the comment
The golf course is pretty good and relative inexpensive.
And Open right up to Christmas eve I guess !
