In the 80's I did much the same thing with a '66 bronco. The home built top had an inch of foam insulation and louvered windows with bug screens. That was great for sleeping in heat/cold/rain. My kitchen however was nothing like as advanced as theirs. there was a refridge (12/110/propane) hung on the back the last year, but the rest was a stuff bag and gasoline burner on the hood. The brick shaped Bronco lacked aerodynamics but that flat hood was very useful. So was the ability to camp in places ...anywhere the fence opened. Just remember to switch the refridge to propane when you camp somewhere only accessible to Broncos, Scouts, CJ's, and FJ's. :-O
Very creative. (Why the negative comments, I wonder?) That's more way comfortable than a tent. Your slideout kitchen is impressive. You'll save a fortune on meals & lodging. I lived in a motorhome for over 2 years as I traveled the USA. Most comfortable bed I've ever had was 4" (10cm) of foam on plywood. Safe travels to you two.
Thanks but I would choose a tent and keep my luggage and other belongings in my vehicle. I also would choose a larger vehicle, more comfortable for traveling.
I use my small Qubo every day for normal commuting. You are right, a larger vehicle is better in a lot of manners. But this is what I have. :D However, when you are driving in an european (or worse, an italian) city... you may understand why I like moving less than 4mt long vehicle. And this little car easily manage to do 17-18 km/l (something like 50mpg)
Awesome! I'm doing the same with a mini cooper countryman... Way to go! I even have the same portable shower unit. Once you accept the reality of a space.. you can make it home no matter how small.. :)
I tried to think of a different adjective, but, cute is the only one that seems appropriate. This is the cutest setup I've seen. Very cool video. Thanks.
Bruce Halleran - This video and your comment is making me consider doing something like this to my 84 Bronco 2 4x4. I could definitely go places my Winnie can't
I think this is a great set up and tailored to your needs just fine. It seems like folks on youtube feel like they are experts on what they think YOU should be doing...not sure why people are so nasty about something that someone is excited about...
Very efficient use of space. Thanks. I think small is the way to go. I go out to national forests here in the southwest and having a small 4x4 truck lets me get far from the camping crowds.
I have been camping and sleeping in my P.T. Cruiser or Jeep Patriot. Both have optional folding front passenger front seats. I have a small piece of plywood to bridge the gap between front and back seats when folded flat, and have a small twin mattress to sleep on. Still maintain vehicles' regular functional capability when not camping, etc. qubo is neat!
The holy grail of micro-campers seems to be to have it be indistinguishable from an ordinary vehicle- SUV or light truck. This is the only one I’ve ever seen that checks all the boxes. Impressive engineering to get all the stuff in there- couldn’t have been easy figuring all that out!
Wowzer! Could easily add a car rear tent for the kitchen area to keep out of rain, cold, sun & if no tent floor use for shower privacy. I can imagine 1 person managing but 2 peoples stuff would be a very tight squeeze
I camped in my customized Jeep Liberty with a bed I made for years. I found the best way if you are spending more than one night in a place is with an suv tent because it gives you more space and a place to stand up and change. Also, you need privacy curtains. I used reflectix. Works great.
outlandishly cool! makes me remember what it was like living in my vw bus down in san Francisco in the 60's. absolutely love your outfit. great job! looking forward to watching more of your video's.
Amazing storage & pull out comforts/gadgets!! Music too loud. I always enjoy the owner explaining the process of how, when & where it ALL came about. Safe travels.
Very nice idea. Ingenious use of limited space. At the end of the day it's a camper which you can simply park up, make the bed and sleep comfortably in, what's not to like about it?
This is really cool and I think it's great for camping and such. I'm not sure how it would do though on rainy/cold days. That sink sprayer that turns into a shower is a great feature and I am amazed at how much you were able to store under the bed! Great video, thank you so much!
THIS IS INSANE!! I can’t believe how much you fit in that little car! You pretty much have all of the features of a BIG camper van! Well done. Lots of useful tips for us to use for our camper!
Cool! I have an idea that just struck me. How about putting a rack/platform on top with a folding tent and ladder on the back? Kind of like the Land Rover Defender. Then you could utilize the interior for more creature comforts.
That could be cool (I studied a lot of different options because are really really cool), but this setup is 100% stealth: just a small car parked in the city.
Wow! Awesome. I'm thinking hard how to convert SUV car into camper because I'm planning to travel Indonesia where many of the roads are more challenging and probably gonna be so difficult to travel with a van. This is such a good alternative. Thank you!
Nono: that's developed for 2. We even spent almost one month around eastern europe during our honeymoon. Solar Panel: yeah, that would be a super cool plus. A canopy: I even made a chassis experiment... but I don't want to use the roof. This way it is just a small car parked wherever we want. The more we put on the roof, the more we get noted.
nice design with the sink and shower head. Are the shelves anchored to the floor of the car? Do you have curtains or shades for the windows? I am concerned with the burner being so close to the car. I would prefer placement at the end of the shelf. This setup allows you to boon dock easily, nice job.
I've just bought a Qubo, ironically to run as an everyday car alongside my fuel-guzzling Bongo camper, and I really like this conversion. If I'd bought the Qubo first I may have done a similar conversion! Time will tell ;-)
amazing and beautiful too.. thats bcz of your hard work n creativity.. you people have adjusted each n everything very nicely. good luck for future traveling.. you guys have lots of fun.. (y)
hello, it is cool, but still i am going to buy small RV because it provides more space it means more comfort, when outside is snow and freezing I don't want to shower myself outside and cooking outside and must go outside to prepare bed and once bed is ready be not able to sit for while before you go sleep, and I don't know where to dry your clothes and skis when you come back from skiing tired... your vehicle is awesome I am just looking for more comfortable living in winter have a wonderful trip!
It is more fuel efficient, has a larger bed, a more intimate dining area & a galley / storage area larger than most RV. What's to say. This is certainly (along with the soon to come 2.0 & 3.0 upgrades) 10x better than any 45' triple 15k A/C's and triple axle RV's. Just look at the versatility & its ability to boondock in places I even can't with my TT.. Very very awesome. Soon you'll be a billionaire. Haters hate.
Well that is amazing but I could never live like that but after seeing this I'm pretty sure I'm going to be able to live in my 24' RV I'm fixing up. Ha Thanks and best of luck. :)
Brilliant thankyou. What is the "fridge" please? I'm currently converting a Smart ForTwo into a micro (solo) camper so I need a slightly smaller cool box!
Ioannis Pailas hi. simply with gravity in a small waste watertank under the front seat. but it wasn't working so nicely. but we are planning an all new version with moooooore roomspace inside
very unique. lots of clever thought went into this build. now it's the second smallest as i just watched a video of a lady who made a camper out of one of those tiny Smart Cars. yes, really!
I think this is a great mini camper hack! Awesome creativity! As for the 300+ "people" who disliked this video... Where are you hiding your great ideas?
Pretty cool. Have been considering doing this ourselves when we buy our Tiguan. Just wondering though. Ive seen many car/campers but non really show how practical it is having the "bed" raised. You look tall, like my husband. Love to see how easy, or difficult, it is to get in and out when using the mattress.

If you find yourself down in Calabria and in need of a proper bed and a shower, give me a yell - I'd be interested to hear your stories as I'm about to start a camper conversion of my own.
As I was watching this I was saying wow I'm Impressed...wow I'm Impressed with everything you showed us then you pulled out the long Table, cook top, pantry etc....and I said out loud Wow I'm really Impressed !!! My father would have loved this. He always wanted to make a micro camper. Yours is ingenious. Giving you a like in his honor.
In the 80's I did much the same thing with a '66 bronco. The home built top had an inch of foam insulation and louvered windows with bug screens. That was great for sleeping in heat/cold/rain. i mess the 100 likes became 101
J. Joy he would have loved to camp with the tight woman though

+QuboCamper
Not a bad set up 🏝
Yes! We're workin on it! And also more cool and awesome features... Follow us, the next version will be really awesome! (we hope so)
Awesome! I'm doing the same with a mini cooper countryman... Way to go! I even have the same portable shower unit. Once you accept the reality of a space.. you can make it home no matter how small.. :)
Please show us a video of your setup! :D
Ben please show your inspiration bro
Hi Ben. Do you have videos or pics of your set up. We have a mini countryman too😊
I too think that it's Awesome.
Great use of space. And for what you're using it for perfect. Happy travels and stay safe.
Louie H.
Awesome!
I'm sad about the hate comments. This is really awesome and original.
i love the concept of having an awesome storage kitchen area beneath the bed.. the shower and sink and fridge are amazing.. blessings..
I tried to think of a different adjective, but, cute is the only one that seems appropriate. This is the cutest setup I've seen. Very cool video. Thanks.
thank you too.
Bruce Halleran - This video and your comment is making me consider doing something like this to my 84 Bronco 2 4x4. I could definitely go places my Winnie can't
Coolest D.I.Y car adaptation I have seen in a long time.
Well done.
I think this is a great set up and tailored to your needs just fine. It seems like folks on youtube feel like they are experts on what they think YOU should be doing...not sure why people are so nasty about something that someone is excited about...

I used to travel for weeks at a time in a Volkswagen karmann Ghia. It is amazing how clever you can be and make it comfortable.
The holy grail of micro-campers seems to be to have it be indistinguishable from an ordinary vehicle- SUV or light truck. This is the only one I’ve ever seen that checks all the boxes. Impressive engineering to get all the stuff in there- couldn’t have been easy figuring all that out!
Thank you very much.
wait for the newer version we fixed this year! Lighter and even more cool
...except the color. Bright green may not be the best if you need to stealth park.
Wowzer! Could easily add a car rear tent for the kitchen area to keep out of rain, cold, sun & if no tent floor use for shower privacy. I can imagine 1 person managing but 2 peoples stuff would be a very tight squeeze

lol, not bad! I was pleasantly surprised at how well yall made this work!
This is so cute and I love the smaller ones. I am one person camper. The two of you did a marvelous job. Thank you.
Thank you.🤗
We love it, it is pure, efficient, beautiful freedom! Tks for taking the time to shearing it with us, appreciated!🎎
GREAT multi-use of the sink/shower. I love the clever bed design, too. Bravo.
Wow! i'm super impressed, all you need now is a wrap around tarpaulin hanging off the boot lid for privacy and a wind shield.:-)
outlandishly cool! makes me remember what it was like living in my vw bus down in san Francisco in the 60's. absolutely love your outfit. great job! looking forward to watching more of your video's.
I am so impressed. Very polished finishes. By far the best I have seen in a small SUV to RV conversion.
wow
thats amazing..u could fit everything in such a small space..
Amazing storage & pull out comforts/gadgets!! Music too loud. I always enjoy the owner explaining the process of how, when & where it ALL came about. Safe travels.
Amazing what all you fit into the back end!! Very basic yet very practical and impressive!
Very nice idea. Ingenious use of limited space. At the end of the day it's a camper which you can simply park up, make the bed and sleep comfortably in, what's not to like about it?

Even small vans suck on rainy days. Only a class B rv (or larger) is going to give you the amenities you need to keep sane in rain :)
THIS IS INSANE!! I can’t believe how much you fit in that little car! You pretty much have all of the features of a BIG camper van! Well done. Lots of useful tips for us to use for our camper!

Positively brilliant! I thought my set up in my Toyota forerunner was bad ass. However you taught me a thing or two good job.
Cool! I have an idea that just struck me. How about putting a rack/platform on top with a folding tent and ladder on the back? Kind of like the Land Rover Defender. Then you could utilize the interior for more creature comforts.

Great Job ! Bravo !! And lot of Barilla in storage ..good tasty pasta in camping .
omg. i love what you did for the kitchen area.
SIMPLY RELAXING WITH MUSIK. GOOD CHOICE. IT'S AS IF I WAS THERE. I'm watching the video again. Safe journies. 😇💖🌅
Wow! Awesome. I'm thinking hard how to convert SUV car into camper because I'm planning to travel Indonesia where many of the roads are more challenging and probably gonna be so difficult to travel with a van. This is such a good alternative. Thank you!
Great job! I converted a Honda Element similarly, but yours is more polished than mine!
Wow, amazing build with that tiny space.
This is by far the most impressive tiny house on wheels. Thank you for sharing. Happy wheels to you.
Wow, now that's compact living for real! 👏🏾👍🏾
Torino 2006! I really like the "kitchen" setup.
Super cool use of space...well done guys.
Ma siete dei grandissimi! Complimenti.
Very clever.
How much weight would you say this setup adds to the vehicle?
Paul Logieri hi. considering that we remove 3 rear seats, I would say something like 50/60kg. except loading it with food, water and us. ;)
I like it. Only room for one passenger? A solar panel and pull out canopy mounted on the roof would be a great addition
Such a cool tiny camper! Love it! I watch this every few weeks & feel better about life. Thanks! :)
nice design with the sink and shower head.
Are the shelves anchored to the floor of the car?
Do you have curtains or shades for the windows?
I am concerned with the burner being so close to the car. I would prefer placement at the end of the shelf. This setup allows you to boon dock easily, nice job.

very cool, the kitchen is incredible, kudos to you and your design.
What an impressive job! So much in such a small space & so thorough.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
amazing and beautiful too.. thats bcz of your hard work n creativity.. you people have adjusted each n everything very nicely. good luck for future traveling.. you guys have lots of fun.. (y)
Bravo, sono importanti i luoghi non i loghi, le emozioni . Poi farsi tutto da soli dà più soddisfazione ed è “su misura”. Mauro
La optimización del espacio más increíble que he visto!! Gracias😜
Fiat 900 length: 3.72m!
Wow, very clever mobile camper. All U need 2 find is bathroom. Fridg & stove on small footprint. Nthx 4 sharing on the internet. Keep on camping.
Complimenti ragazzi c'è avete compreso una casa in un cubo. Davvero complimenti per l'idea.
great job guys. have fun on your trips.
wow ,nicely done! If you can get so much into a space that small then I should be able to make my full size, high top van work for me pretty well!
Really clever use of space!
Very Nice. You did a great job.
Ed

we do not live in it. just 3weeks and some weekend for holidays.
Thanks : Now I understand and that is really set up nice for what your using it for. :)
Molto ingegnoso complimenti x ferie a basso costo è una soluzione veramente favolosa
Brilliant thankyou. What is the "fridge" please? I'm currently converting a Smart ForTwo into a micro (solo) camper so I need a slightly smaller cool box!
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!!! Genius at work; perfect design and use of space, gotta share this on FB, amaaaazing!
Thank you very much.
During this winter we are going to do a couple of interesting mods. Follow us if you want!
thanks for sharing your idea. good luck every day, be safe.
I love how they secured most of the things very creative.
Amazing what you have managed to fit in there.
Smart conversion every lil space is used wow great job guys and travel safe😀
BRAVI RAGAZZI!
Such a great space optimization 🙌🏼🙏🏼have fun
Where does the waste water go? It goes with natural flow or do you use a second pump?
Ioannis Pailas hi. simply with gravity in a small waste watertank under the front seat. but it wasn't working so nicely.
but we are planning an all new version with moooooore roomspace inside
so glad young people still have the ability to live like this. love the color. ...
Now this is a dope van conversion .... Totally can use it ... I wished it was explained properly.
Without camping stuff it was a 7-seater! Loading capacity 650 KGS!
Have you considered an awning for more living space?
Well done! Enjoy your travels. :-)
love love LOVE this! just found you guys and can't wait to see more of your journey! safe travels, Thalia and John - South African Travel Vloggers
very unique. lots of clever thought went into this build. now it's the second smallest as i just watched a video of a lady who made a camper out of one of those tiny Smart Cars. yes, really!
Brilliant use of space ,, well thought out
very cool. u gave me a few ideas for a similar project. thanks for share
Well done. Excellent design, but need solar or wind power to create electricity.
I think this is a great mini camper hack! Awesome creativity! As for the 300+ "people" who disliked this video... Where are you hiding your great ideas?
Love it, great job guys.well designed and thought out.
Thanks for sharing! Enjoy your adventures.🙂
Really cool build! Wouldn't have chosen a Qubo personally, since other brands have way better fuel efficiency
E vai di pasta al tonno e Manzotin !! 🙂Complimenti, bell allestimento, spunti interessanti
Did you ever sleep in your parked car keeping engine ideal running condition with AC or hot air blowers on for whole night ?
Pretty cool. Have been considering doing this ourselves when we buy our Tiguan. Just wondering though. Ive seen many car/campers but non really show how practical it is having the "bed" raised. You look tall, like my husband. Love to see how easy, or difficult, it is to get in and out when using the mattress.
Nice! That took a lot of planning.
A Fiat, a Torino t-shirt, a Bricoman bag and a bucket load of Barilla- I get the feeling you guys might just be Italian!? If you find yourself down in Calabria and in need of a proper bed and a shower, give me a yell - I'd be interested to hear your stories as I'm about to start a camper conversion of my own.
this is like a teardrop trailer and car all in one. love it !
This camper is very good. It is small and special. Nice ~
As I was watching this I was saying wow I'm Impressed...wow I'm Impressed with everything you showed us then you pulled out the long Table, cook top, pantry etc....and I said out loud Wow I'm really Impressed !!! So is this something you have made for yourself and your Girlfriend or is it something you want to make for the masses some day ??? :0) I Love it !!!
Lori Sanford this is just our custom setup for our holidays. I really dream to start building this kind of setups for different vehicles. but it won't be easy.
thank you very much for you kind words
Well I love your ideas you did a fantastic job on it and I sure hope the best for your future ! :0)
very cool idea. I want start to build one.
nice set up
Amazing use of space...............
Complimenti per l'ingegno , mi hai dato l'idea per avere un letto in auto. Grazie e buone escursioni .
i like the albanian flag you got there in the back...i was born in greece but im 100% albanian...thank you for including appreciation of a country in your car/house
