The wise one pretty much instantly one-shotted Alex so I don't think it'd even be possible to beat him.

easy to make and pack a punch
No wonder your HP was so high. This boss is easily beatable at around Level 42-45 for a realistic idea of where the party should be at this time.
I only lost to the doom dragon once
