I love how on Zero's side you can see a debris in the shape of Dr. Wily's symbol while on Omega's side there's a debris that can be seen as the letter I which could imply the word Imposter. A great detail by the developers, that Zero is the real creation of Wily while Omega is the imposter inhabiting Zero's original body.
Fun fact : in all Omega forms except Zero Omega is supposed to have more animations, not a stoic standing pose. The giant form also has saber attack but limited by hardware limitations. Otherwise the fight would be harder and much interesting.
Pretty sure that is debris from omega's 2nd form in this battle, since Omega emerged with Zero's body from the central part of that form looking around.
I've had one headcanon for the X and Zero series regarding Zero's original body for ages. All his raw power seems to be only accessible whenever he's either awakened or when Weil forces it out so Omega could use it, it is also unusable by the reproduction body Zero was given. So my theory goes as such, the reason Zero's original body is so powerful was because it has an ungodly amount of Bassnium in it, way more than what wily used to build Bass. Whenever Zero is "awakened" he's using the store of Bassnium in him to enhance his own power, it doesn't seem to be a limited resource so it might just act as a catalyst. Either way access to it seems to have been locked away when Zero was cured of the maverick virus, and using it again would probably awaken him. So if anything Zero getting a reproduction body was probably the best ending for him since it meant there was no longer a risk of him turning Maverick.
Theres a bit of irony in the end, Zero had to kill Weil, who is actually human, and since no robot should be able to hurt humans, Zero technically had to turn maverick to save everyone from him

according to canon it should've been the original buster, considering it was zero's actual body. You could argue that for whatever reason Zero's copy body did not have a buster and had to use Milan's, but Zero's original body should definitely have an integrated classic buster (regardless of the artstyle change).

What if... the reason for the change of artstyle, is because of an upgrade of some kind to make Reploids look human, Command Mission had X use a more sleek body type, seeing as Colonel and Vile are in Flame Magnion's boss battle, and they look exactly like their X series counterparts just scaled down for the 16 bit GBA game, it's perhaps the canonical reason X and Original Zero's body look similar to Copy Zero's body. And the Z buster was upgraded to look like a buster shot, this is my personal headcanon. And if you don't think he's using a wimpy buster shot, observe and see how Omega shoots out 2 large charged shots with a Saber shockwave, like Zero's boss fight in X2 and to a lesser extent X5-X6.

It's unknown why Omega in MMZ 3 and ZX triple slash & Ranbu attack ignore invincibility cheat 😕 mine still got damaged too...
