I have had my crock pot for over 15 years. My husband never liked any thing I made in it, until I started watching several of UA-cam videos. Now when I pull out my crock pot he know it will be good. Thanks for the new ideas. I like instant potatoes, but my husband calls them war potatoes because he doesn't like them,
LOL Patrick is still kinda like that with the crock pot, too LOL. He say with crockpot meals - everything comes out the same color, flavor and texture, (and sometimes he's right). But I have searched high and low and experimented (and still do) to find good crockpot meals that are not like that. So we are making believers out of them yet LOL
I have a friend who claims he doesn't like instant, until on his 2nd helping, i tell them that they're from a box.

I think that Italian chicken recipe would be great to eat as a sort of open-face sandwich on the garlic toast with the cheese, and just use a fork to eat it!! Thanks for all the great recipes!!

When I make the Italian chicken ill add a small cornstarch slurry to mack a gravy sauce then put them on rolls .I have that sane dressing I want to make pasta salad .

Hi Mel. I was wondering if you had some recipes for cancer patient. Maybe some vege only? I was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer and would appreciate any plant based meals. I love your Chanel and every looks so yummy. I just am not able to have that yummy food anymore as now I am in a fight against cancer. One thing I know for sure is God is good in all things. I cook my beans in light water until hot, drain and add butter and parma cheese , very tasty. also, I take cut potatoes, cook until tender, drain, and add butter and some herbs. then, on my plate, I use ranch dressing so it tastes like sour cream and potatoes. try it, i’m going to cook chicken like you do. thanks for sharing.

Add a tablespoon or more to ur liken of grape jelly and about a tablespoon of A1 to u mix. That makes all the diff in cutting the saltiness of the soy sauce. I also buy the reduced salt soy sauce. But it really changes it to more of a teriyaki flavor. Thanks for the idea. If u want a little smoky flavor to it u can add that liquid smoke to it to so ur chicken taste like u smoked it.

Oh Mel. When you press on a mango and it's "gives" a little, it's RIPENING, not "ripeing".
You can put it in a bag to speed up RIPENING, not "ripeing".

Mel, I have a crockpot with the little leg has broken off. I just put the leg back on and use like normal. I like to do cake mix with melted butter also. I have made the dump cakes using the cake batter dry and have eaten some of the cake mix and it has salty taste.

Instead of using soy sauce substitute it with coconut amino acids. Just an idea. I see Amber on feeding the byrds doing this alot. Hope this helps 😊

Hey Mel 🤗 about Street Taco Tortillas, the Mission are good. My favorite though is La Banderita Carb Counter Street Tacos, well any tortilla size I enjoy these. If store is out of stock, then I will get the Mission Street Tacos. If you ever find Albuquerque Tortillas, give them a try, they're really good too.
