@@futuredoctordiariesactually… This type of heatless tool she used is usually meant to give people a wavy hair look! There are another tools tho to give them curly hair look!
I have curly hair, and the only heatless styling method that worked for me is doing two duch braids with slightly damp hair, and I get tons of compliments. I leave it over night it doesn't bother me whilst sleeping while keeping my hair healthy and damage free
Okay so, on straight hair this is life changing. I have 3b hair and I do that with my bathrobe belt every night before sleeping when my hair is straightened it's quick, easy, comfortable, it stays on all night, results are beautiful and last for a long time. However, when I tried it on my slightly damp hair ... well I ended up with litteral dread locks in just a few days + it was just ugly and still wet. Do not recommend.
@@shvcej my hair is curly in its natural state so I would never wet it when straightened, so yeah dry is just ok. but if you already have straight or wavy hair I think it would also work wonders if it's dampened a little, hope this helped :)
Is your hair naturally curly or straight? My hair is naturally curly but it’s so frizzy I blow dry it straight, so not sure if I leave it 80% wet it will be huge or not lol
I really love straightening and or curling my 3b hair, i just prefer that look on me than completely natural, but in summer I really can't be bothered! Yours came out really nice, I hope it will go just as well for me!
When you brush your hair completely brush through it with a paddle brush. Then take a section near the top and start twirling the brush in the same direction as the curl was made. This resets the curl and gets rid of frizz.

The curls are cute! I think they would work well in a ponytail or updo style to avoid the two different textures of the roots and the ends coming out too much. :)
It is best to blow dry the hair first, put a serum in and then use the silk roller rod. If not, and you do it on wet hair, you have to set the hair & put your products in it (like the Aveda product you used and also the Camille rose naturals honey mousse) to set the hair but you’ll have to let it air dry like that for over a day because you have a lot of hair & your hair texture is gonna take a while to sit dry. After about a day (or 2) you can use your dryer you used. But the curls will be a bit crunchy so you’ll have to use a lil hair serum or oil. The end results were beautiful but it could potentially make the top frizzy. I think blow drying your hair first would be best. You are so cute tho, you look so much like my lil cousin. Just adorable & beautiful.
Ahh I remb when I first found your channel. I thought wow her hair is so curly and beautiful. Really curly and like no one I have ever seen b4. 1 year into my curly hair journey and my curls look so much like yours do. It's still blows my mind. I started with 2b waves 🤣, seriously taking care of your hair can do miraculous things for your curls. My hair is unrecognizable. I can't wait for my hair to grow as long as yours is. So I can try all of your beautiful hairstyle tutorials.
i have the same problem with the heatless styles. My hair isnt anywhere near as curly as yours, just naturally wavy. If I let it air dry, then its super crimped up top and even after i curl it, the top isnt smooth so it looks kinda stupid xD I feel like the best way for me to get this to work would be to dry my hair with a blow dryer and then do this, or maybe straighten the top bits, but that kind of defeats the purpose of heatless.
Gurll I'm so annoyed😩 my hair used to be lovely long 3a curls but then I went to the hairdressers and now it's got some good layers and a lot shorter but the curls are rubbish, they're practically not even there😕 it's so annoying😩
I've heard that supposedly sometimes curly hair get's "shock" after a haircut, because the curls got used to their length, and how to work with it Also, it seems that your hair will find it's way back to how it was after some washes, so let's hope it does!!
I have straight roots with 2C ends (when it's short medium) and 3A when it's long. And the straight roots piss me off, because does not go well with my curly ends and my hair always looks like a triangle. I'll try that out since I know it does work on curly hairs,
Already tried that with curly wet hair... it takes forever to dry, does not look good and never last. Rather blow out and keep hairstyle for whole week 😅
I feel like the diy- long sock/bathrobe tie method must be more comfortable than sleeping with a long U-shaped pad 😂 but the satin cover is a nice feature!
This kinda thing would work better on blown out /stretched hair with some mousse. I get the same results with chunky finger coils and a heavy twisting cream.... I let it sit while I clean the house (hour or 2) and then I scrunch mousse over the curls before diffusing for 10-15min
I have 3c/4a and it works tremendously well for my hair. On wash days, I style my hair as normal with hair gel and then I use a blow dryer to help it dry more before I wrap my hair around the ribbon but I don’t use only one like the girl in the video, I use two of them for the front and the back because my hair is soo thick, then I cover it with a bonnet and sleep in it overnight, not just leave it in for a couple of hours. That’s how I maintain my wash and gos and the curls literally last me for up to 5-7 days.
It's like a pin curl style/texture, but lazier, if that makes sense, since you're using the one big noodle instead of lots of little pins 😂 The curls looked just fine, but not as >>fine
Lana i just want to get something out of the way, my name is actually Lyanna Hutton when my mum was setting up my phone she put my brothers name instead of mine, what I really wanna say is I love u sooooo much, u r the reason I started to live my and and u led me to do the big chop. I loveee braid outs!!
How do I Dutch braid my own hair 😢😢?? I find it extremely difficult
@@LanaSummer hi. Can you share the dryer you used?
Same, the waves when the braids come out go with the waviness of my hair.
Not sure why but this thing on your head and that yellow dress is a look by itself! Its giving me bridgerton vibes!
Haha, if I blurred my eyes it kinda looked like a tiara, so I see what you mean! 😂
Yes I was thinking the same!!
I was thinking that too lol! I’m like why does she look like an exotic princess

I love the end result! It reminds me of like a vintage doll for some reason 😂 but so pretty! ✨
Haha yeah those big chunky ringlets! I wish I could've seperated them more but my hair was gonna go too frizzy where it didnt dry properly!
Try separating the giant curls, breaking them apart into small curls. It would be so pretty!

I think it’s better to use on blow dried or stretched hair especially if you’re doing it on curly hair
THANK YOU!!!! Exactly the kind of video I was looking for 💕💕💕 #curlyhair
You should’ve put it in a ponytail to hide the roots and then added a bow that matched your outfit!!

I always did a zigzag part in the back. Doesn’t have to be neat, just even amount of hair on both sides
Ty for doing it so i wont have to
I have really curly hair too, I lightly wet my hair because the same problem occured..it took too long to dry

When your hair is shorter like maybe shoulder length, does your hair shrink up a lot more?
How do you move your hands? Mine don't do this. I can't hold or wrap or separate.
Thanks for trying it... I wanted to try it but now I don't think so... it's cute but not the look I was hoping for 👍🏻

Your hair dries in 30 mins with wave/curl formers? I have the same texture as you and it takes me 6 hours min to dry it like that
Looks really pretty! How long did it last? Did you use gel as well?
It worked perfectly just don't wet your hair before you do it lol I think a lil bit of oil was fine
If you fold it around the back of your hair like milkmaid braids it will fit in the bag 😊
I feel like the diy- long sock/bathrobe tie method must be more comfortable than sleeping with a long U-shaped pad 😂 but the satin cover is a nice feature!
I think you'd need 2 bathrobes so that you can have 4 strands, and then that way it wouldnt take as long to dry 🤔 hehe maybe I'll try that
did u maybe try smaller sections when u "braid" it
awee i wanna recreate this
