I worked at an amusement park for a summer running a ride. It is a crappy and amazing job at the same time. It is hot and dangerous, but I had the best tan I've ever had in my life and everyone there is having fun (except the kids that try to spit on you as they zip by on the ride - sorry bud - I do this eight hours a day everyday - I can spot you a mile away and I WILL have your little butt thrown out of here!) But I did feel bad for the costumed actors. I would seen them on break with the thing shucked down to their waist just drenched in sweat, drinking out of gallon jugs of water.
That stormtrooper was a veteran of endor, He's seen what those things can do, He's SEEN them eat his friends, He's SEEN them skin his friends alive, HE'S SEEN THE HORRORS OF THE EWOKS.. I'm surprised he didn't shoot it on the spot.
He remembered how these man-eating-teddybears pluck his comrade's fingers that his went numb. And if you attack one their whole tribe will agro on the Attacker.

The movies just don't do them Justice. In the books And in the comics the way they describe Ewoks is like a swarm of barbaric rodents. They may be small but anyone trying to mess with an ewok is gonna be overrun so quickly with thousands upon thousands of fast Moving camouflage extremely agitated rat bears armed with spears and force knows what else. -500/10 definitely would not recommend agitating ewoks
@skitariiranger4346 why? As long as you don't agitate them you're fine. Do some research and learn about about the various jungle beasts. Learn a bit about ewok culture and if possible try to establish peaceful relationships with them. If not well...maybe setup your camp right by your starship in case you need to make a hasty exit

The troopers ability to stay calm under pressure is amazing, they could have been killed and eaten at any time but they handled that Ewok like a champ.
As a former Tomorrowland attractions cast member and occasional Goofy, this makes me smile proudly with very warm memories of my own little guest interactions.
Anyone who works as a person who just wears costumes like that one will always be glad to make a funny reaction for the people there cause they love their job (at least this one)😂
Be nice if there were proper water breaks, bathroom breaks, cooling fan installs, better green room privacy, proper time allotments for cleaning the costumes, and a proper pay scale for their talents, skills, experience, and mental health dealing with abusive guests.

Small, but I love how the actors dont point their weapon when taking a 'defensive' posture. Makes a big difference, and they're still able to playfully stay in character
They have every right to be afraid of that Ewok. After the battle of Endor many stormtroopers had horror stories of Ewoks capturing and eating entire platoons. Some captains went so far as to put Ewoks on trial for war crimes.

There is no script, you have to be able to ad lib and be in character, luckily I didn’t need to speak when I was Pluto 😂

Small, but I love how the actors dont point their weapon when taking a 'defensive' posture. Makes a big difference, and they're still able to playfully stay in character
