All of the lights are now standard as LED or just the headlights? And why can't we go ahead and make the jump to standard disc brakes like all the trailers have?
The remainder of the 2022 model year trucks have LED headlights. It has not been decided if we will continue that for the next model year. Cost vs. Benefit just hasn’t been justified to put disc brakes all the way around all tractors. It is an option that we allow drivers to pay for up front and order if they want them. We are currently working on our new truck deal and this is one of our items that we are looking at closely. Thanks for the questions!
Great job, great truck, great company. It’s so Interesting to watch these videos after being with them for a year. They really are humble but the reality is, the fact that they supply us with a truck like this out the gate and have such a great support system in place is really a blessing. I talk to a lot of guys out here and sometimes see new drivers using not so new trucks and they are SHOCKED when I tell them how prime takes care of their drivers. This industry is give and take and though their has been some temptation to have a hardened heart at times, it’s easy to not take out any small issues on these guys. They really have given us a fighting chance to begin this career. Just wanted to give my anonymous gratitude prime. Thank you guys. Obviously don’t waste your time looking for “Clark Kent” as I’m sure he’s still at the daily planet in Kansas but the picture is really me. My hair is just a lot bigger now haha guess I’ll add that side note as well, what a blessing to have a career that I can allow me hair to be in it’s natural state, an Afro.

Very nicely spec'd truck. I'm kind of surprised that Prime hasn't moved away from noisy, and often high-maintenance APU's and switched over to Freightliner's EPU system with 1800-watt factory sine-wave inverter combined with an Espar bunk heater. I've had both set-ups and think the EPU and Bunk heater set-up is far nicer and much more reliable. It would also be nice if they spec'd the Freightliner factory TV mount arm instead of an outdated thermos holder. While we're at it, the curb-side emergency exit door would be a great addition as well. And Omnitracs? Seriously? I would think that a company as driver-focused as Prime would have far better technology than that piece of garbage, severely outdated, driver-hated system. You can call it a thermos holder... I call it a tripping hazard. So goes the life of a trucker. I do appreciate HAVING the option though. Don't care for the "Noggin Buster" ladder either. HAVING the ladder is nice, but the placement of it is not ideal. The overall design of the truck is good though. The interior layout of the Freightliner is far more convenient then Peterbilt, particularly when it comes to storage. It says a lot when the 72 inch sleeper on the Cascadia has more usable space then the 80 inch sleeper on the 579. I would, however, take the ride of the Pete all day, every day though, especially when running team. That "Freightshaker" suspension just can't compete with smooth ride of Paccar trucks, particularly when you are in the bunk while the truck is moving. Wheelbase, ofc, does make a difference with that too...
Eeh to much can go wrong with that. If it fails and you can’t get the trailer detached. You have to get out of the truck to put the gear down and disconnect lines. Not that hard to grab the release and pull
@@kylemcintee5364 you can open the fifth wheel jaws with the pull handle outside if the solenoid fails. Worst case scenario would be crawl under the truck and reach through under the bottom with a pry bar to open the jaws the same as you do when those cheap Holland fifth wheel springs fall out on the ground. Very good upgrades to the standard specifications over the past 2-3 years. Also Their is (3) three specifications you should consider adding standard that is a sun visor / 110 plugs Outlets 5 to be exact (1) one for the microwave (1) one for the refrigerator an at least another (3) three for phone, computer, printer ,gaming systems etc. A higher inverter about 2000-2500 wattage. I know that I said (3) three am adding (1) one more locking step box. Peace and prosperity!!!!!
You can just remove that. I removed it on my FL back when I had one. It’s one of the dumbest features I’ve ever seen and will stub a toe more than once for sure.
Hi Sean! This truck could end up being a company truck or leased truck. Company drivers are assigned a truck on a first-come first-serve basis, where independent contractors have the ability to choose their truck. Thanks for the question!
I’m 6’5” and I won’t drive anything other than a Cascadia. My legs cramp up in other trucks, but the freightliner gives me the room I need in the driver seat to drive comfortably.
You can check out our minimum qualifications at www.primeinc.com/qualifications. If you're interested, you can apply online at www.primeinc.com/?r=youtube or give our recruiters a call at 888-664-9121.
Great question! As it turns out, 95% of our trucks that we offer in the reefer division are full condo version , which are the biggest offered in the industry. The 72” is the width and not the height on the sleeper size also. I will say that Peterbilt says their cab is 80” , but if you measure the same, it is really 71”. The success leasing team would be happy show you the different models to see what works best in your situation. Feel free to reach out to them if you would like to check out all the options. Thanks for tuning in!
Lots of new features but everything is the exact same as my 20 aside from the wind deflectors by mirrors, standard led headlights and a much larger detroit assurance camera. Looks great though. Might order one or buy out my 20 at eol. Not too sure yet
Hi Eric. We hate to hear that you feel this way. Feel free to reach out to us at communications@primeinc.com with additional feedback on how we can improve the CDL training program.
I absolutely DESPISE LED headlights with mad passion for many reasons that I really shouldn't get into. I can't believe they're even legal. Other than that though it seems like an awesome truck!
I wish I didn't get the LED lights on the headlight because they are not as good as the regular light bulbs because they are much dimmer and not as bright and they bounce a lot...I had both so I know the difference...plus they don't last as long

Everyone has their own preference of course. We found that the super single tires have a more substantial contact patch that standard duel tires, which increases a fleet's load capacity. Additionally the super singles eliminate the effects of uneven pressure between tires on one side of an axle.

It is 2020 the 2022 has a digital dash
does it have the fully digital instrument cluster?
That's a question for the Success Leasing department. Feel free to reach out to them at, 800-491-1240.
Is the music made the truck better at the beginning
How can we assist you?
Will my name be on the title if i lease purchase with you guys?
Does prime inc hire owner/operators?

Very good upgrades to the standard specifications over the past 2-3 years. Also Their is (3) three specifications you should consider adding standard that is a sun visor / 110 plugs Outlets 5 to be exact (1) one for the microwave (1) one for the refrigerator an at least another (3) three for phone, computer, printer ,gaming systems etc. A higher inverter about 2000-2500 wattage.
I know that I said (3) three am adding (1) one more locking step box. Peace and prosperity!!!!!
Thank you for watching our truck tour, Ronald!
As an Ace Lease can we order it without the thermos holder?
You can just remove that. I removed it on my FL back when I had one. It’s one of the dumbest features I’ve ever seen and will stub a toe more than once for sure.
@@DriverLineup but removing it leaves the screw hole and probably a permenant indention in the floor. (I havent decided on putting in carpet)
I call it the foot stumper or toe breaker.
@@dopeymomasboy we just put a rug over it
@@DriverLineup yea.
Is this a lease truck or a company truck?
Hi Sean! This truck could end up being a company truck or leased truck. Company drivers are assigned a truck on a first-come first-serve basis, where independent contractors have the ability to choose their truck. Thanks for the question!
@@PRIMEINCTRUCKING independent contractors are your lease purchase contract?
I'm 6' 4 is there room in there for me??? I'm really considering prime
Absolutely! If you are ready to get started, click this link to apply, www.primeinc.com/?r=youtube
I’m 6’5” and I won’t drive anything other than a Cascadia. My legs cramp up in other trucks, but the freightliner gives me the room I need in the driver seat to drive comfortably.
Best truck ever
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Классный трактор!))
Шучу, трак обалденный!😉👍🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for tuning in!
What about weight? The same, heavier or lighter?
Thanks for the question. The weight is 17,130 lbs!
@@PRIMEINCTRUCKING Really? On a full size tractor? I work for a refrigerated carrier and our full-size trucks are 19 and change
Do i need a heavy liscense to drive one of these?
You need your class A CDL to drive a tractor trailer in the United States.
why steering wheel and computer display is like mercedes actros?
What are the minimum requirements to come and drive for Prime Inc?
Zero, they'll train you if no experience
You can check out our minimum qualifications at www.primeinc.com/qualifications. If you're interested, you can apply online at www.primeinc.com/?r=youtube or give our recruiters a call at 888-664-9121.
a heartbeat
Do they have bigger than a 72`... How about a 80' sleeper?
72'' is a little tight. i'm 6'1''. i'd never sleep good in that tight of a space
@@PRIMEINCTRUCKING do they offer the same luxury as a company driver or is it "you get what you get"?
Lots of new features but everything is the exact same as my 20 aside from the wind deflectors by mirrors, standard led headlights and a much larger detroit assurance camera. Looks great though. Might order one or buy out my 20 at eol. Not too sure yet
It is very similar to the 2020! The reps said the biggest difference is going to be in the engine and tech with the Detroit Assurance Gen 5.
Trying to see the difference in appearance for my 2020
Thanks for checking out the truck tour!
Nice to see this. Giving it some thought, about coming to Prime . To do the Cdl training program 🤔. I see you all have nice large cars :)
Don’t do it. Go to a local trucking school or work with a smaller company. Prime has pulled a lot of shenanigans.
We would love to have you join the Prime family! Let us know if you have any questions along the way.
Hi Eric. We hate to hear that you feel this way. Feel free to reach out to us at communications@primeinc.com with additional feedback on how we can improve the CDL training program.
Will do. Have a Happy New Year
Prime is big on making a whole lotta money off you. Literally highway robbery
That’s a good looking vehicle
Pretty nice!
nice truck thanks for the video and ℹ information
Thanks for watching our truck tour, Jacob!
It’s a beauty!!
We agree!
I'm wondering if prime offers the freightliner with the driver loft
Hello! You can check out the truck models we offer here, www.primeinc.com/success-leasing/equipment.
I absolutely DESPISE LED headlights with mad passion for many reasons that I really shouldn't get into. I can't believe they're even legal. Other than that though it seems like an awesome truck!
Thank you for watching our video!
I wish I didn't get the LED lights on the headlight because they are not as good as the regular light bulbs because they are much dimmer and not as bright and they bounce a lot...I had both so I know the difference...plus they don't last as long
Interesting. Thanks for sharing your feedback on the lights!
How much the Price
That's a great question for our Success Leasing department. If you are considering joining Prime and would like to know more about our leasing options, you can find additional information at www.primeinc.com/success-leasing/?r=youtube
Currently in school and most likely going to Prime after school. I am debating on doing the success lease program and getting the cascadia condo

you can buy 2 from the dealership for what they charge
Why does it come with super singles?
Everyone has their own preference of course. We found that the super single tires have a more substantial contact patch that standard duel tires, which increases a fleet's load capacity. Additionally the super singles eliminate the effects of uneven pressure between tires on one side of an axle.
I like the color
Awesome! Silver Green Frost is the color name.
What happened to the truck with manual transmissions? I guess most - if not, all - companies are worried about their bottom line than what the drivers that they’re hiring would really go for in a truck!?
Thanks for sharing your option about manual and automatic transmissions. All Prime trucks have automatic transmissions.
Nice color
Thanks! Glad you like it.
