This week I am making maple look like it’s melted! Thanks to my friends at Arbortech Tools who supplied a couple of new power carving tools for me to test out! If you have any questions about the project, feel free to leave them in the comments below. If you want to support my channel, I just launched my Patreon, and would love to have you join the community that helps me make new projects!
    Thanks for your support!

As a skilled tradesman for over 40 years, I always appreciate watching those few who are able to hone their skill set to the level of artisan. Just by watching your methods, it was clear to me that your work was at a level that few approach. Great project, great instructions, and a great result. I subscribed.

Runny wood on a table top....... Awesome!!!! The way the wood seems to run over the edges is quite a bit like how I've seen Apoxy Resins doing the same thing. Never thought I'd every see the same effect in wood..... which is solid! I love it 👍👍👍 That snake and eagle sculpture at the beginning looks so real as well 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Watched your video, subscribed! This sculptural approach to wood working, floored me. As an artist (62, from New England) I appreciate wood working and all arts, but this was enlightening to me. I sure hope you charge a lot if you sell it, what a beautiful piece! The metal, the wood at the bottom of the legs so impressive, but the "melting wood" sublime :)

Man you need a bandsaw! I’ve seen people use the table saw to cut from both sides then use a bandsaw to cut out the middle but I haven’t seen anyone use a handsaw to do it since watching my grandfather re-saw an entire board with a bandsaw. He was a master carpenter and furniture maker who used power tools including bandsaws when he worked in someone else’s shop but used hand tools when he worked for himself. He would of loved this piece and your process!
