I love how they animated him without glasses to have consistency for when he changes into a werewolf, but then animated them back in right before he transforms
Randomly clicked on this. I forgot how much I loved this episode. The part where Homer was singing about sugar crisp cereal, then carried the same melody over to "guess I forgot to put the foglights in." That absolutely killed me when I was 10 years old.
This was different from what I remember. When I first saw this on TV I remember that while the reason on the family ran away after Ned transform into a werewolf, Homer was being Homer and he stayed while he was making jokes instead of running away.
'Okay, Marge, you hide in the abandoned amusement park. Lisa, the pet cemetery. Bart, spooky roller disco. And I'll go skinny dipping in that lake with the sexy teens that were killed a hundred years ago tonight. Now, Flanders, I want you to--aahhh!'
even a man who is pure of heart & says his prayers at night, will become a wolf when the wolfsbane blooms & the moon is full and bright. I believe this fits
I feel like this one is on Flanders, purely for the fact that he went out walking at night in the fog with no high visibility jacket on him. I know some people do this kind of stuff but let's be honest here folks, who on earth would do something like this.
I take some sick satisfaction in hearing homer scream while hes being torn up. Imagine hearing that while you're sleeping in one of those houses in the background before werewolf ned lunges at homer.
I remember even at the age of 8 being bothered by the fact that when Marge initially runs over Flanders in the first scene she's pulling over and when she gets out of the car sees Flanders body right behind them. But in the flashback scene it looks like she swerves to hit him and just keeps on driving. Also the weird way Homer pokes Flanders in the eye through his appearing and disappearing glasses. Still 22 years later this is all I can see in this scene.
Most of the time they don't care, it's simple segments, short, not like a full episode split in parts, and even if it was like that, they still wouldn't care.
I always suspected Marge had a contingency plan where she fully expected to leave Homer behind to the monster/mob/disaster-caused-by-Homer to get the kids to safety.

He has glasses the whole time, except when turning into a werewolf. Though that makes it weird how Homer can poke his eye through the glasses.
