He came out of retirement to compose songs for Dimash, so yes, you must be really talented to impress him. This show is called You Are Super and it's for orphans in Russia to give them a chance for a better life. Diana was abused by her mother as a child and at the age of 3 was put out into the bitter cold of Russia with a broken arm. She was taken in by relatives but eventually taken to an orphanage. A woman who worked at the orphanage noticed Diana and adopted her. Diana wasn't speaking and when she was taken to the Dr he told the woman who adopted Diana to take her to singing lessons. And the rest is history. Diana loves to sing and will sing just about anywhere for any size crowd. By the way, Diana won this competition and Igor Krutoy provided her and her family an apartment in Moscow. Great reaction guys ❤️ I would recommend reacting to Human or Rechenka next. Rechenka which translates to River is an old Russian folk tale of an orphan girl who goes to the river in the woods and asks the spirits of the river and woods to bless her upcoming marriage. In fact, after Diana won this contest her birth mother did try to come back into her life. Diana wanted nothing to do with her and her birth mother started making threats against her and her adopted family. That is when Igor Krutoy stepped in and bought the apartment in Moscow for the family to move in to. I'm sorry if I unintentionally made it sound like Diana and her birth mother had a relationship.

The last judge is Igor Krutoy, the famous Russian composer and is the pianist in a lot of Dimash's performances. From what I understand she had a hard upbringing. That is her voice! She has that incredible contralto (the lowest female voice) and an unbelievable vocal range from there up! Diana is a truly gifted performer. I first discovered this beautiful gifted child when she was doing this performance. I was moved to tears reading the comments below about what she has endured during her young life with her bio mother. I've seen the video of Diana with her adoptive mother and she looks like a really sweet lady. God bless them and I wish Diana all the success she so deserves . Although all the videos and shows are in Russian, you can see how well liked she is by everyone.

Rechennka. It's mean "my smal river". The river in the ritual songs of the Slavs was a link with the world of the dead. In the song before the wedding, a girl without parents talks to the river. Snowstorm and Derniere Danse are my two favourites of her. From all the vocal coaches I've watched re Diana there seems to be a debate between whether she's just lowering her larynx (but a lot, kind of like a more extreme version of Cher or Shakira), manipulating tongue position and shape to get specific sounds or mix of both. It's kind of fascinating cause the notes she's singing aren't as low as they sound if that makes sense. It's kind of like being able to darken a higher pitch so much that it sounds super low. Like I have a pretty low voice especially singing but even my speaking voice is on the lower side for a woman but I don't know how to manipulate larynx and tongue positions as Diana can as I never had singing lessons (money) so I just tend to either sing men's songs, rock stuff, modulate songs down an octave or something along those lines. I can sing high it's just not very well developed and just sounds like a typical choir voice sound so can't really switch from normal voice to head voice in the same song without it sounding very out of place ha I've found that some of the songs from Bonnie Tyler, Cyndi Lauper, Dusty Springfield and Shirley Bassey are the kind of female singers that I enjoy singing their songs without changing tons of notes haha. So to me it's always fascinating finding female singers doing something a bit different from the very popular only breathy tone or full on belt in radio pop at the minute, so UA-cam has become a haven to find new music ha Anyway another great video guys! Love the dynamic as always.

The show Diane was on featured children who had very difficult childhoods. Diane was mistreated by her mom, ended up in an orphanage, and had difficulties speaking during her younger years. It's wonderful to see her flourish and grow into such an amazing talent.

I have hearing damage that effects the range that most women talk and sing in which is great when I really don't want to listen to my family but is not so great when I want to listen to the groups that I loved before dealing with jet aircraft....the late 70's did not have the best ear protection. I love Diana 1: I can hear her 2: she has a fantastic voice. With Dimash there is a rich under tone to his voice even in the high registers so my brain processes it in a way that I can hear high tones clearly again. So I love Dimash. These two great singers gave me back what I thought was gone forever.

Diana complements this fabulous environment with her deep and powerful voice and dramatic performance. Please make reactions to Human, Blizzard in her performance on this show and Feeling Good, which she sang at age 14. This is also amazing! I am sure that she has worldwide recognition and a great future.
I was dubious when I first heard her voice, because it sounds like an electronically enhanced tone. It does seem entirely implausible for someone to be able to naturally produce that vocal tone. However, I could be wrong, but I think she's using a Mongolian Throat Singing technique in a new way. It sounds as though she's managed to find a way to blend the larynx movements and breath movement needed for that with pure vocals to create this incredible sound.

She is using a combination of lowering her larynx and yawning (which raises the back of the tongue and lowers the front of it) to create that deep voice. You will recognize him from some of Dimash's videos, he plays piano (and a lot more too). I would start with Derniere Danse, then Rechenka (River), Human, and finally Feeling Good; as the order to progress with Diana (pronounced dee-anna)
Just to answer your question - the final judge to push the button is Igor Krutoy. He is her patron. He was waiting for a point where it wouldn't disturb her performance to push the button. He pays for her apartment, her training and is her mentor. There was never a chance he wouldn't push the button.

I can sing high it's just not very well developed and just sounds like a typical choir voice sound so can't really switch from normal voice to head voice in the same song without it sounding very out of place ha
I've found that some of the songs from Bonnie Tyler, Cyndi Lauper, Dusty Springfield and Shirley Bassey are the kind of female singers that I enjoy singing their songs without changing tons of notes haha.
So to me it's always fascinating finding female singers doing something a bit different from the very popular only breathy tone or full on belt in radio pop at the minute, so UA-cam has become a haven to find new music ha

The show Diane was on featured children who had very difficult childhoods. Diane was mistreated by her mom, ended up in an orphanage, and had difficulties speaking during her younger years. It's wonderful to see her flourish and grow into such an amazing talent.

You don't recognize him yet cuz you haven't seen Dimash's most recent performances. I have hearing damage that effects the range that most women talk and sing in which is great when I really don't want to listen to my family but is not so great when I want to listen to the groups that I loved before dealing with jet aircraft....the late 70's did not have the best ear protection. I love Diana 1: I can hear her 2: she has a fantastic voice. With Dimash there is a rich under tone to his voice even in the high registers so my brain processes it in a way that I can hear high tones clearly again. So I love Dimash. These two great singers gave me back what I thought was gone forever.

I was dubious when I first heard her voice, because it sounds like an electronically enhanced tone. It does seem entirely implausible for someone to be able to naturally produce that vocal tone. However, I could be wrong, but I think she's using a Mongolian Throat Singing technique in a new way. It sounds as though she's managed to find a way to blend the larynx movements and breath movement needed for that with pure vocals to create this incredible sound.

She is using a combination of lowering her larynx and yawning (which raises the back of the tongue and lowers the front of it) to create that deep voice. You will recognize him from some of Dimash's videos, he plays piano (and a lot more too). I would start with Derniere Danse, then Rechenka (River), Human, and finally Feeling Good; as the order to progress with Diana (pronounced dee-anna)

Just to answer your question - the final judge to push the button is Igor Krutoy. He is her patron. He was waiting for a point where it wouldn't disturb her performance to push the button. He pays for her apartment, her training and is her mentor. There was never a chance he wouldn't push the button.
