Guy to my right was in a a Chevy Truck and they literally passed 3 cars on the righthand shoulder and when they spot the cop he slowed down to match my speed and I ultimately took the fall. Never driving so much as over 70 in a 65 in my life (I was driving 80 in a 65).
I'm fighting one given by them right now. I will come back with the results

How about All state drivewise? I got ticketed going 84 in a 55, but my drivewise doesn't have me going above 80 at that time...I have the information sent to me from my insurance comapny and plan to bring the evidence to court

At your first court session/hearing, you can request the discovery (evidence). The radar is included in the discovery. And make sure to make your request in writing!

Ok so I caught a speeding ticking Florida but I have a Georgia drivers license . Fl said they’re giving me five point on my dl . Would it show on my ga dl or it will only show if I get a fl dl ??
In certain cases ok but in a lot of them I really want someone on the streets driving at 100mph or more or even close to it.
And don’t forget the officer needs to provide proof such as a photo and recording of you going at that speed :)

We are required to appear. Also our radars dont have certificates any longer. We use tuning fork tests each time they are checked out. As long as it passes the test its good.

I’m assuming your an officer not in NJ. 1) officers here in NJ are “required” to appear but they usually never appear, especially in larger urban cities. 2) as part of the discovery (evidence) package. It is a requirement that the radar calibration certs documents be provided. Maybe your state stopped using them, but they’re used here!
Yea but you need a photo or film of the person going at that speed. The radar can say your speed limit. But we all know officers can manipulate that number. And when you’ll film you’ll don’t have the radar on film, 2nd you’ll need proof that you’ll did the radar on that specific vehicle. And when going to court we can always find out when your on days off. So we can schedule it so you can waste your day off. And then file for a motion for another date, on your day off and make it worthwhile :)

In NJ, it has to be calibrated yearly and a certificate must be shown when you request the discovery aka evidence.

No the radar certificate is requested prior to trial. At your first court appearance, request “discovery” which is a legal term that means evidence. Within your discovery packet, the radar certificate and calibration should be included. If not - try to dismiss!

You a gambler? Because BOTH of these methods yield results entirely out of control. So what's your advice to people who tried this and didn't have an actual plan to fight their ticket? Lol
The last options or more concrete options would be to schedule the matter down for a court hearing, go speak to the Prosector and see if he will offer you a better plea deal than just pleading guilty to the ticket on its face. Lastly, depending what state you’re in, there are state/court programs to remove points or the convection off your record.

In New York State the ways to resolve a traffic ticket are to plead guilty, plead not guilty and go to trial, plea bargain, or when offered, resolution via a Traffic Program such as Records Removal options - [recordsremovalATinstructorDOTnet] i didn’t have to go to court and my ticket was dismissed.

Most judges (state/country dependent) flip a coin if the officer doesn't show and you risk a bigger fine, and most are calibrated regularly as a matter of course. Don't speed, simples. If you have been caught, learn a lesson and don't do it again.

In many states, speeding tickets have points. So it’s better to go to court and speak to the Prosector and try to get an amendment without points or lowering the points so your insurance doesn’t increase

@@jaymorgan. ive had 2 tickets over 6 years, never had my premiums go up. Its less hassle and doesn't waste any of my time. I make more than it would cost me to take the time to go to court and get this off, it just isn't worth it and thats the case for a lot of people.

I make more than what it cost also but I still fight all of my tickets pro se and have had them all dismissed since I’ve gotten a understanding of how the law works. Proof is on my channel. Anyway, the insurance companies and the government seek easy targets like you that will bend over and play their games.

1) No need to be aggressive, I am just helping people understand things they may not know. 2) In NJ, esp in larger cities, officers don't appear often, and occasionally the radar certificate is past the time of calibration.
