I wonder why in the U.S. there is this need for gigantic kitchen!?! Do you guys always cook for dozens of people? My grandma used to cook for lots of folks here in Italy in what you'd consider a very tiny space, I never heard anyone say that there was not counter space... 😂😂😂 I wish your food is worth the price. Bless to everyone ❤

I'm not too crazy about gigantic kitchens either unless you cook for a lot of people or have company over all the time or have a large family, but I'm from the U.S. and I completely agree with you, big kitchens aren't a need and kitchens don't have to be big to be functional

A lot of people tend to gather in their kitchen, especially during get-togethers. This one seems particularly huge, though.

I think the same. Here in Switzerland we cook and life a lot smaller. And if I may say so, this is much more sustainable.

Here in Philippines the bigger the kitchen the better ❤ you don't have to wait to cook for many people before thinking of upgrading your kitchen right?😂 When your loved ones visit your house they love to help in cooking and preparing foods so it's not good if you only have a kitchen that fits for an apartment right 😂

    Positives:
    Beautifully done
    Colors are nice
    More practical
    Huge improvement
    Not so positive:
The kitchen is so big that it overwhelms the living room
The island is so big that it will be a challenge to reach across

Should have shifted the kitchen to dining area & living room into kitchen. Bcz of tat huge island, they got such tiny living/tv room.

Lots of wasted space in the island. Poor design.

I don't believe all the drama. He did their basement, he knows how to fix the kitchen. And who would willingly share photos on a popular tv show of a living room with toys thrown all over? HGTV probably tells them to make it look messy, and hype their story so Jasmine can save the day.

    • @L.Spencer
      @L.Spencer Рік тому +6

I should add they don't need the drama, just fix their house and make it nice.

All I wanna know is why Scott’s subcontractors(?) painted Nick and Zoey’s house with a roller instead of a sprayer?! You could see the gaps even on teevee!

Well it looks awesome. It was expensive as fuck to do and it will not be practical... The living room is cramped, the kitchen island is enormous and has empty inside... And the cherry if fuck ups is... No storage at the entry way... Like where do you want me to get our jacket, bag, key kids school bags...

Somehow the proportion of the Island / the kitchen is not really in tune with the rest of the ground floor. And let me understand: $ 120.000 for the ground floor renovation?! Wow.

Who has a fire 2 and a half years ago and does not replace the microwave or the range ? I would get it if they were super poor but they are not . All feels like a set up for the show

If I see the stove at 1.24 it is all clear how the fire started and I doubt if that enormous new kitchen helps to solve the real problem.
