He was swindled when he purchased this house. Someone rally goofed on the inspections. But the finished product is lovely. At least what we saw of it. I really feel for this guy.
Probably why it was sitting on the market for so long when the rest of the properties sold. hope the parents can be paid back for the unforeseen costs. Nice family.
HOW IS AN INSPECTOR GOING TO SEE THRU THE WALLS?
That house was a teardown.
NOT QUITE
Love it congrats dude
I’m trying to figure out how it wasn’t a natural progression of thought; if the visible cast iron pipes are toast of course the ones underneath the slab are bread crumbs…
Exactly. If you can see something fooked up you can bet the rest is screwed.
Amazing that none of these new bathrooms have ANY storage space!
MY FINANCIAL GUY LIVES IN LAGUNA NIGUEL & HE SAID THERE ARE SLAB PROBLEMS IN THAT CITY
Slabs are often a huge problem Client bought expensive home, then woke up in the middle of the night to the smell of sewage that was coming up in his bathroom The entire foundation had cracked in two. When pulling up the LR carpet, they discovered patches, i.e. the foundation had hidden cracks when they bought it. They never could establish who was the fraudster that covered up and failed to disclose the crackes. Cost them $200,000 to fix the foundation, and that was over 15 years ago. I would be very reluctant to buy a house on a slab.
