I have a JVC GR-AXM100 from 1998! I have a cassette tape which I like watch inside but I'm unable to and the camcorder won't open. When I push the eject, I hear something turning but the camera turns off immediately. I have it plugged in. Any ideas?
One place is ebay, another place which I found the camera is good will, just keep in mind that there is not a guarantee that the battery with hold a charge, and make sure for where you get the battery from has a good warranty and or you can return it if it does not work
@@IronKingIronKing Thank you for replying! What about the battery that goes along with it? Would I have to buy a completely new one since it didn't come with it?
@@genesisroa5574 well, when I got the camera, I got the battery with it, and is the same camera you have the same one in the video? And got me, I can't charge the battery through the camera, so I would have to buy a stand-alone battery charger and you might need to do the same if you are wanting to charge the battery
@@IronKingIronKing Yes, I have the same camera like the one shown in your video. My father didn't tell me where the battery and the charger went. I've been looking for an answer for almost a decade!
I just got one, it won't turn on when I put the battery in but only when I put the battery on the charger then connect the charger to the camera. I'm gonna buy a new battery but do you have any idea what's up with this?
What kind of battery do I need for this camera? It’s all I’m missing I bought two different kinds lol... I put the model no and I guess I’m doing something wrong

@@GXTH_BVT ok. So it sounds like you are in "vcr" mode and you need to switch to camera mode, and then you can push the rec button. Then boom, you are recording
The sound of the camera movement reminds me of my childhood, can’t wait to get compact vhs in the mail.

Does your camera start zooming in as soon as you hit record? Know how to stop it?
Its probably a sticky connector. You may want to find a replacement zoom button or know someone that knows how to clean them
