I enjoy seeing these American Truck Simulator videos. It’s cool there’s a new state added as a dlc. Keep up the great work Jeff, have a great night and take care!
As someone from Tulsa I saw this thumbnail and clicked on it and skimmed ahead to see Tulsa in the game and the first thing I saw when I skipped forward was construction zone and I said yeah that's Tulsa
Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri, the 4 states I've been looking forward to the most... and the first one is almost here! Thanks for the early peek, Jeff!
Since I moved to TX last year it is really cool to see the parts of OK that I drove through on my way down. Also really cool they modeled one of the large toll road rest areas. SCS has done a fantastic job improving the immersion of the game and that audio, WOW is that impressive. Up next is KS and just recently teased, NE.
Your state preview's for ATS is a nice tradition, thanks! I'm just as excited as you are when a new state is released! Kansas is quite far and they already started on Nebraska! Missouri is getting closer! 😃
As an Oklahoman, I'm excited to see this DLC. SCS did a great job capturing the details and unique landmarks of the OKC/Tulsa areas and the smaller towns. Also, can confirm it's EYE-da-bel.
As someone that has lived in Texas and Oklahoma, and currently in Arkansas, this makes me happy. Oklahoma is next on my list. I also have to say that the physics changes, and the more realistic traction and the sounds have gotten so much better. I can not believe how much this game keeps improving both modified and stock.
Hey Jeff! The Yard dogs load is a new load for 1.48. They added it for Oklahoma since there's a processing plant for them in Oklahoma according to SCS.
This is super cool to see the state you’ve lived in most of your life in a game and it be so accurate. Grew up between OKC and Lawton, went to school just west of Clinton, and now live east of OKC. The attention to detail is incredible. Even having the Frisco Center in Clinton. I want to get this just to see if my hometowns Christmas light display and giant Christmas tree is in the game, and to see if my alma mater in Weatherford is there too. That would be crazy lol. Also, just drove through Tulsa a week ago to MO and the construction is spot on😂
Nice! Wondering if they added the small but well known town of Thackerville since it’s home of the worlds largest casino. Also amazing to see they added the Mercy hospital in Ardmore and the big cross which actually rotates in real life.
Oklahoman who has lived in Tulsa all my life here, SCS nailed this DLC, everything looks and feels like Oklahoma and Tulsa feels incredibly familiar. Downtown Tulsa looks spot on!
they shrunk a lot of maps just cause of the capability of the game engine if every city and town was 1:1 scale you probly need a nasa computer lol but im glad that they tried
That’s crazy how accurate that route is. I drive from Odessa TX back home to Enid OK. Alot maybe 2-3 times a month, and I can picture the roads and traffic. Amazing!
Thanks for the look at Oklahoma. Excited to see the rest of it. Good to see Interstate 44. Tulsa looks Terrific. Flying in the 737 Simulator sounds exciting and I hope you have a Great Time! Take Care, Jeff!
As someone who lives in Oklahoma, everything is literally perfect. All the way to the exact intersections in Oklahoma City and the exact same signage for exits, everything was as if I was driving in real life.
Idk about the intersections lol, what is there is mostly good but OKC has been reduced essentially to just downtown and MWC, almost the whole city is missing. I calculated roughly based on what is there is around 20 sq miles, Oklahoma City being 620 sq miles means they made Oklahoma City at about 1/30 scale so drastically reduced scale meaning they basically cut it down to nearly nothing but a skyline. Not even hobby lobby and that area in general where there is a ton of industrial places. Edmond as well lots of big and busy industries there too but nothing, even Norman has a couple. Just can’t help but feel kinda screwed on OKC side, plus only like 5 or 6 industries? Farmington, NM has more than OKC which is ridiculous.
@@stephenmartin5766 yeah I saw a ton of Edmond was missing, the connection from 33 by I-44 was missing. Didn’t see the Kilpatrick Turnpike, and did not see Edmond and Norman. But whatever they did build on is quite accurate
The "Rockport'" looks like the entrance to the Tulsa Port of Catoosa - end of the navigation channel on the Arkansas River with access to the MIssissippi, but that's actually on the northeast corner of Tulsa.
SCS is doing an amazing job on all of the states so far! Oklahoma looks really good! Can't wait for it to release next month! I have a 1,001hp CAT C18 in my KW900 and my 100 Yr Edition W900A. 👍😎
Ive driven between okc and tulsa quite a bit and this is so accurate. When you passed the structure going put of okc that pointed in the air and the rest stop right outside of okc looked exactly like the real thing. This was so cool to watch seeing as ive driven these areas so much. I live in tulsa im not a trucker haha. Even the construction was accurate haha
I love your little rocket man a job I like your videos buddy. I’m retired truck driver for 35 years and it’s so nice to be able to see all the places you go and I’ve been there before pretty cool. Yeah it’s nice I can sit back and watch somebody else do the driving for a change lol, I keep up the good work buddy I like all your videos I really like it when you talk as you’re driving and even telling us all but about yourself and the things you do if you sit and resting so keep up the good work and I’ll keep watching. God bless stay safe.
I grew up in Arapaho, Ok which is just north of Clinton and I live in Altus which is west of Lawton which both have highways running through them. Really cool I’ll be able to drive through my hometown
We. all know Ryan or mr Stevens. Or mr spectacular. Is a multitalented man. So him nailing flight sim. I’m not surprised at all and your leadership and encouragement and love and brotherly support How could he fail? And he is a incredible accountant that right there tells you he won’t give lol 😂
Hey Jeff I'm from Oklahoma and the 1st is my bday lol, Oklahoma hold the two major highways that cross each other I-40 which you can take from West Coast to East Coast and I35 which runs from the Mexican Border to the Canadian Border, Oklahoma just switch to cashless tolls, pretty accurate on the map and definitely not to scale because downtown OKC is much closer to I-40 then it showed and missing a few things like the river area and the Indian Museum. but its very nice to see Oklahoma and I'm sure more will be added.
I look forward to the new achievements that come with Oklahoma, and I hope there is a lot; I've almost done them all for Texas. Anyway, it's one step closer to my state. 😊
Just wanna say, I've lived in Tulsa all my life and I loved the video you did and I'm excited to see all the details they've put into this map, 44 is spot on! right down to the construction just outside of Tulsa on 75 highway, And the Arkansas river looks great with the sandbars! I am curious as to why they chose to have you get off on Lewis to deliver to the Port of Catoosa which is what the "Tulsa Rockport" is in real life. In real life you would exit 44 at 193rd or "County Line Rd" and take that north to the port, which if they would've done that they could've modeled the Tulsa Hard Rock Casino and Hotel which sits at that intersection with the 65 foot tall Gibson guitar in front of it which I think would've been a prime photo Opportunity. Anywho keep up the great videos, I always enjoy watching them! Oh and in real life the "Picket" sitting on Lewis is a Walgreens and the gas station across the street is a Quick Trip 👍
I-44 (Highway 44) is a toll road except from the airport until it branches off I-35 towards Tulsa. And that ugly bridge on I-40 is the Skydance Bridge, but locals call it the Mosquito Bridge
The destination is modeled after the Tulsa Port of Catoosa which is a port to the Arkansas River Navigation System that's located just a little bit North of Tulsa. (Where I live )
I was driving in St Louis yesterday when the storm came through. The wind was absolutely terrible. Slowest trip home I have ever had from there. Can understand why the power was going out.
A nice twister but in the background let the sky turn black let those thunder and lightning come down it would have been nice thank you Jeff once again for doing the Showcase the new DLC
I hope we eventually get a Louisiana expansion. There are many enjoyable sites, roads, cities, and river crossings to be had from Shreveport-Bossier to Monroe, to Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and good ol' New Orleans.
I live in Tulsa and it is pretty accurate. At 144 and Lewis that "Pickins" is actually a Goldies restaurant. I wish the drive from OKC to Tulsa was that short in real life lol. Takes about an hour.
I used to haul glass out of town just north of whitcha falls. That would be pretty cool since they have flatbed if you could do glass double drop trailers.
What's up Jeff? Hope all is well with you, the family and fur babies.. I see we're taking a cruise today and I'm here for it.. I really can't wait until they come out with Pennsylvania especially Philly so I can see how accurate they are
I just had my birthday 2 days ago, and just in time too! I was able to order a new graphics card that I really needed for my pc, and I needed a new Thrustmaster wheel, my old one started burning up. I had it a few years and got a lot of good usage out of it. now it's time to get a new one! I should be getting them tomorrow, or even today! And I can't wait for Oklahoma!
Yes Interstate 44 in Oklahoma is a Toll road. My mom and I used to take 44 down when we would visit my aunt and uncle when they lived in Midland Texas. And 44 has been a toll road for as long as I remember.
@@jfavignano I didn't say in Missouri, Jeff. Just in Oklahoma. Not long after you cross the state line it becomes a toll road for the entirety of the highway in Oklahoma.
Bro I can't wait until they get to more eastern states like NY, Florida. And then maybe they can do Alaska and Hawaii. That would be sick. But Oklahoma is cool too
They did a very good job. They pretty much got it down to a t. Even the base in Lawton and three water towers leaving Lawton. Wish they would’ve put the truck stop between Lawton and Okc. Would be funny if they got how rough the roads are
SCS is doing a good job improving the game at a fairly steady pace. The new ambient sounds definitely help bring more life into the game. For those of us without Twitter, do you have a preferred second way to reach out to you?
They definitely made the PikePass tolls accurate, minus the tolls at the side of the blocked off area, most of those are torn down at this point and we go off the PikePass or PlatePay
This looks great! I've been behind on a few DLCs and excited to explore all the new territory. I was at Pocono and thought people would be talking more about the Austin Dillon helmet throw or something. The crowd was definitely upset when they didn't throw a yellow for a spun car before the white flag though. Overall it was a great race!
Jeff I am so excited for Missouri. St Louis should look awesome! If you go through Oklahoma and take 44 you might pass my home town of Washington Mo. Just down the river from St. Louis.
@@jfavignano That is so cool! I love Washington. So many things to do and people are nice. One thing happening right now is the Town and Country fair. Washington loves it
This game actually inspired me to become an over the road trucker, 5yrs later still playing this game as a trucker IRL
I got my CDL back in 2017 I definitely know and it is so neat how you can learn how to back with it wished was still in it
Shoutout to yall IRL truckers. Yall keep this world moving.
I have a question, is the physics in American truck simulator realistic to a real life truck the way it drives in game?
I just got my CDL. Im thinking about going OTR but would also like to stay local
@1nfinitebean I'm also OTR, but I started out with regional driving. My advice go with what suits you
I have lived in Oklahoma/Arkansas for a lot of my life so seeing the gas station/restraint in the middle of the road made me happy.
As a person who lives in Oklahoma, this is awesome! They did a pretty good job, love that you can see the Devon Weston building clear as day
I was not expecting a dlc with Oklahoma
The fact the construction on the 75/44 interchange is the exact way it is irl is amazing
27:50 That bus depot you showed at the end is where International make their school busses. It's cool they put it in the game.
I enjoy seeing these American Truck Simulator videos. It’s cool there’s a new state added as a dlc. Keep up the great work Jeff, have a great night and take care!
This was super cool seeing the state I've lived in my whole life in ats, can't wait to play it! Great video Jeff.

Yeah I really hope they do every state eventually
Hello from Edmond!
okc here
As someone from Tulsa I saw this thumbnail and clicked on it and skimmed ahead to see Tulsa in the game and the first thing I saw when I skipped forward was construction zone and I said yeah that's Tulsa
🤣The in-game construction on that I44/Hwy 75 Interchange is further along than it is in real life!
my favorite part was turning left from 51st and Harvard to get to i-244 and Mingo
Lol I know I had to rewind and watch again it shows only left or right turn 51st Harvard kinda threw me there.
Believe it or not I was exploring, the airport and the Thomas built bus plant are also in game
My bad it’s the IC bus plant not Thomas built
Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri, the 4 states I've been looking forward to the most... and the first one is almost here! Thanks for the early peek, Jeff!
Nebraska is coming after Kansas
love the fact that scs already teased nebraska right after. with possibly hinting at dakotas bundled with it.
That won't b until next spring. Smh
As a born and raised Okie, this makes me happy to see
I also born and raised in Oklahoma
As a Tulsa resident, seems to be a faithful rendition, even down to the apartment building across from the baseball field
being a flatbed driver, I LIVE for the pull through
consignee's don't like it when I bring up the split axel
Since I moved to TX last year it is really cool to see the parts of OK that I drove through on my way down. Also really cool they modeled one of the large toll road rest areas. As an Oklahoman, I'm excited to see this DLC. SCS did a great job capturing the details and unique landmarks of the OKC/Tulsa areas and the smaller towns. Also, can confirm it's EYE-da-bel.
I laughed at Idabel too lol never heard it said that way before
Thanks for watching til the end where I explained how I would pronounce it.
Well think about the English language, you have idiot and idabel that are pretty close. I went with eye-da-bel only because of Idaho.

Same! For me it’s the color of the grass
Wow, Texarkana huh... all we need is the Georgia DLC for that special beer run to Atlanta!
Yes! 🙌
I think they should’ve added Norman with the main road taking you to the OU campus
Stillwater as well
As I lived in Oklahoma for 29 years the city never gets old
they did pretty good kinda wish it was bigger they cut down alot of the highways and made them smaller
Feels very empty. Oklahoma is compromised of tons of small towns and I don't feel like they captured that
they shrunk a lot of maps just cause of the capability of the game engine if every city and town was 1:1 scale you probly need a nasa computer lol but im glad that they tried
yeaaa. inola is completely cut out which is disappointing
