Well done mate, good fix 💪 I know you were disappointed with the 1st video but I would have just kept it up and pinned a comment to explain a bit.
I have left out or mis spoken on videos about certain things and it's always a frustration, but at the end of it you are giving out useful info to people 👏
we are in a busy work environment trying to diagnose and fix whilst also explaining in detail, not easy and very easy to leave out things.
Keep grinding and ignore the negatives, it's all part of it mate 👌👍

@@romanosautomotive All good mate, I got nothing but love for the community and industry, I love seeing new content creators on YT that are diagnosing problems (highlights the good work techs do) it is my lunchtime vids everyday 😁 (I may have a problem 😂😂)
PS your diagnostic trolley is literally the one I tried to source for over a month and it's discontinued, you are a lucky man, that kincrome one looks 😍
😥😢 Very sad they can't get them back in

Me too! Always keeps me entertained watching all the cool guys on YT. Now you're on my list!
Haha, it's a great diag cart but you know, there's never enough room!

@@romanosautomotive Cheers for that, sounds like a good list 😁
we will never have enough room but as far as tool carts go that one looks mint.
Anyways I best get back to editing, loads of footage and not enough time 😂
      Keep up the good work.

hello, I have, not all the time, and often when I drive error p0201 injector circuit open cylinder 1. the preheating warning light flashes, and the engine vibrates. I changed the 3 injectors, and I measured 2.56v on the connector plug without starting the car. I am lost and I do not understand anything.

It would be hard to try and help you over the internet. Are you a mechanic, do you have any very good mechanics local to you?

What voltage are you getting at the injector plug, I'm getting 4-7volts depending on the rpm on injector 3 can't check the others as it won't start on 2cyls

Very good job, can you explain why is on power ond ground side of injector same voltage pattern. Doesn't make sense to me how can be current flow if ground and power are the same.

    • @romanosautomotive
      @romanosautomotive  3 роки тому +1

It is not exactly the same, it's power and ground one way when the pcm wants to expand the piezo crystal stack and then the pcm reverses the polarity to contract the piezo crystal stack. When you scope both wires it gives the illusion of being the same because its essentially doing the same thing just at different times, wire 1 power and wire 2 ground at one moment, then wire 1 ground and wire 2 power the next moment. That's why the current waveform has a positive current ramp followed by a negative current ramp. I hope that makes sense.

Noice. More than 1 way to skin a cat, not that I condone that sort of behaviour. Whichever technique you use that you are comfortable with and provides the correct result is the one to go with
