On the other hand, who knows what was cogitating in the mind of Ian Hislop. He seems rather intuitive about his fellow humans at times.

@@jaewok5G Good observations. They made me think. " . . . when he knows something that he's not allowed to say," AND when he independently discerns that to show-his-cards prematurely could block further communication with a good source. Just good judgment and responsibility on Ian Hislop's part, as an adult. It is interesting trying to read someone I'll never meet, especially when the media and "acting" are involved.
