Thanks! One thing I´ve come to think of with this backpack from a security standpoint is that it has a desgin that does not scream camera backpack. For what it is worth, I fell a bit secure traveling with this instead of something with the label WANDRD, Peak Design or Lowepor. That beeing said all those are great, and particularly the Peak Design Travel backpack and the PRVK 31.
Tanks! I can measure it later, but what I can say is that it might get a little bit tight with a Sony A7SIII AND both laptop and tablet. You will most likely not have problem with a rangefinder camera though.
@@hmuller thank you :) please when you have time will be nice to have the external and internal dimensions as I’m planing to put a S1H and some primes but no tablet just laptop.
@@estebanamon Actually a colegue of mine has the S1H so I can try emulate that setup and give you feedback during next week. Send me an email, and I´ll send you some images of it as well.
I usually use a brush and a very wet cloth, and just let it dry up overnight. Bike dirt is the most difficult and can take days with several rounds of cleaning.
@@minhdang03 Funny you ask about that! I will very soon release my two year follow up review of that backpack! But it is really no magic trick here, just a simple household brush, you can even use a dishwashing brush, then switch over to a wet cloth ;)
I really hesitate between this one and the 24l. At the airport, the 24 passes for sure as cabin luggage. This one might but definitely not always. This one has definitely more room and fits my 15.6 laptop. The 24 will carry less and I don't know if ma Pc enters. The 32 is a bit heavier empty than the 24... the 24 can be a super everyday backpack as well (although I have a good one, not as good as ths Thule but lighter) , whereas the 32 cannot
Yeah, in my experiance with the Norwegian companies sush as SAS and Norwegian, they are pretty laud back about it. In terms of how well it fits under the seat I did travel by plane last weekend and much of the pack fit under the seat. For everyday, i honestkyy think it is a bit cumbersome if you are not bringing cameragear. I always chooae my subterra 34 over the covert 32l if i am not bringing camera gear. It is a alot more convenient and accessable. It cmes in a 25 liter version. Stay tuned for a 4 year review if the subterra 34.
What can say is that this backpack is a bit of hit and miss depending on what kind of user you are. I think this is a sturdy and interesting backpack, but it can learn from both lowepro and Wandrd in order to improve the eventual next versin. I almost never use the camera side straps for an actual tripod. It is nice to lock in my water bottle though. I really miss having a deeper and the side access zippers to be stiffer. By the latter I mean that they tend to follow the shape of the backpack and is nowere near as easy to open as on both my lowepro protactic 450 aw and the 450 aw II. I also miss heafter zippers for the clamshell opening. If i pack a tablet, laptop and camera with a top viewfinder (like my a7siii it gets uncomfortably tight, and I have experienced the zippers failing and I have to zip it back and tight it by bushing it furter down. The best part from a security point of view is that it really does not look like a camera backpack. I feel a lot safer bringing 7000 dollars +worth of equipment arround with this than with the lowepro protactic 450 aw II. I miss having a buildt in raincover on the Covert 32l and have bought a third party one that sits in one of the sidepockets. I do not use the front bottom pocket that much, and would really like to trade in that for a deeper backpack. I think if you are considering this, consider how much you really needs its spesific features rather than something more streamlined. The Thule landmark 40 and the Subterra 34 is much better companions for travel and every day carry if you are not all that into those exterior pockets. All in all I really like the look of this this backpack. I often bring a camera and if you bring a rangefinder camera, the depth of this backpack would not be an great issue. And the leftover space of the camerabag can serve as an extra tech compartment. Nice review. I need a backpack I can use when my roller bag doesn't work. I'm not sure this is the one but it's on the list.

Thanks for the review! I'm interested in this primarily as a travel bag without the camera pod. Do you know how much the backpack weighs without it?
Thanks! i`ll check that tonight.
I checked now, and it weighs 1530 grams without the camera bag. The bag weighs 610 grams.
@@hmuller Thank you! Seems pretty similar to the Wandrd Prvke, which I really like. Definitely need to check this one out in a store or something.
@@2bccbb yeah, they are very much similar. I wish the Thule could be deeper though. And have bigger zippers for the clamshell opening.
Nice review. I'm curios about the camera pod, what are its dimensions?

Great review!

Not a lot of content here regarding 6 months experience. Plus didn't need all the camera discussion
Thanks for your reply! I have used it more or less a daily driver for almost a year now. Anything you would like to know?
