She needs a damn award for largest understatement on UA-cam for the artist's own work. "kind of ok". This is my first video of hers, I am now going to go through the rest to find something she considers "good".
You guys never cease to amaze me with your skills and the way you make us all feel we can actually create these wounderful items, your explanations on each stage are clear and inspire me more each and every video. Love you guys .
ASTONISHING!! It's just absolutely beautiful, and in the very moment right before you sprayed it black, it looks cleaner than it did on the computer's CAD illustration. During the test fit, it seemed maybe a little of the back of your upper neck was visible, but that could be resolved by adding some sort of collar that would skirt around the back part. It looks like a perfect fit, and so very authentic. To think, that you went the whole way through this project start to finish, and ONLY used the foam!?! Seriously, you've shown me that with desire and motivation, possibilities are limitless, and a 3-D printer is never a necessity. THANKS FOR SHARING!
Well done !it’s much appreciated the fact you are not using fancy equipment and you show people how they can get things done within a budget without to have to spend thousands of dollars on fancy and expensive equipment. thank you once againKeep up the good foaming work
I’ve been looking at foam working tutorials and getting bored with them... then I came across this! Nice and upbeat and energetic. Brilliant. Thank you
Fantastic storyline, Beautiful and Brilliant Actors. Imagine a story potrayed like a circle, revolving around until it gets to the end point. Not everyone we tell our secret is Happy with us. A lot of lessons in this movie. I give it 100 percent. Kudos to Mr Abiodun Bukola, Bukola ikuomola, Adufewa and Kikelomo... Weldone to all cast and crew...
I came for the informative and interesting tutorial stayed for the process and loved the energy and enthusiasm you had the whole time. Thank you cosplay crafterlady
I've thought about doing a stormtrooper helmet out of foam before but didn't think it could be done well with all the complex curves it has (especially in the mouth area). Once again proving how little I know about foam work...brilliant stuff!
I've no idea how this made it into my UA-cam recommendations as I can't say I've ever really been into dressing up in cosplay, but I LOVE the energy and enthusiasm that I now want to make something.
This feels so much more lively than most of the 501st approved costumes. Im wodnering why? Is it the way its painted? You really did a great job. your costumes are one of the best ive seen on the net in general.
Thats amazing! Ive been using a different metho for years, that takes me about a month to do withs, with lots of sanding, and resin. Im definitely using this method from now on.
Very impressed with what you managed to do with foam, curves and shapes like what you had to work with are very difficult to do well and you to handled them great.
I can’t believe she says “it turned out kind of okay” at the end. This helmet is one of the most impressive helmets I’ve seen a tutorial for. The stormtrooper helmet shape doesn’t transfer easily to foam, and she got it spot on! “Kind of okay” is an understatement!
I have only just started watching you guys and wow I am so impressed with what I see keep up the good work and I don't think I have seen two people get excited with their work.
You're simply Amazing !! Thanks so much for your work ! You're my motivation and inspiration number one for my cosplays !! I'm so excited to see your other futur projetcs !
You guys are just so adorable!! your books ive gotten and videos have helped so much!! I would love to see a video of your method of making pepakura into foam friendly pieces :)
I made a Darth Vader helmet right after the movie came out with an flight helmet & cardboard but it didn’t survive the years & moving so appreciate the work here, thank you
I’m not a cosplayer or cosplay “follower” but a Star Wars fan and somehow your build pics ended up in my twitter stream. Now I found this video by chance and I’m even more blown away. And on top of that you’re compatriots! :) Good job all around!
I love your videos! congratulations! you really sent me the desire to start !!!! I have always seen the construction of these costumes as something unreachable but now you have opened my eyes !!! thank you!
I'm looking to start making masks and this was exactly what I was looking for! Love Svetlana's personality, I'm gonna have to subscribe and watch all of your other videos now. You guys did a great job, thank you!
What a great job you guys ! Ive been searching for a video the gives a well detailed breakdown of a smooth finish on a foam piece. Double thumbs up and thank you for filling in the questions I had... Im very creative BUT have never worked with EVA foam. Keep up the great work :)
You're adorable, you both have Mad Skillz, and it wouldn't be a KamuiCosplay video without the shameless plug for your books in the beginning. Thanks for such fabulous videos. I love them, and learned a LOT.
Sería genial que tus videos estuvieran en español!!! Espera un segundo!!!! mi canal es de tutoriales cosplay en español!!! ... 😱 así o más Spam jajajaja 😆 Kamui for a moment I felt the helmet a little big on your instagram until I saw the original reference! Excelent job! (by the way sorry for the self promoting above... 😁 )
I knew it!!!! LOL!!! 😂 When I finish my Cosplay video guide I'm going to share it with you! It's in spanish but I'm going to add subtitles so you can understand it easily and if you want to point me how to improve it!!! Thanks a lot!!! 😃
this is absolutely outstanding work. I am fascinated by cosplay weapons and armor and just found your videos today. I need a hobby and i think maybe i found it, thanks!!!
All you need is a bit of foam and creativity... and a few different colors and types of sprays, an airbrush and a good area for you to use it, a dremel, preferably a 3D program and a printer, glue, contact cement, a heat gun, a good knife and a mat to cut on, a tool for cutting round shapes in foam, quick seal and some sticky foil! I'm not being completely serious here of course but it is quite an investment to start to get into this stuff I guess ^^ Really great video though, I think the helmet turned out great! Thanks for taking the time to teach us your craft :)
And a house to live in, some air to breath, food to eat while working, water too of course, some clothes to wear so you're not naked crafting... the list just goes ON AND ON! xD
I’m making a helmet for an upcoming cosplay and I never even heard of pepakura!! I’m downloading immediately! Thank you so much for making this video!!!
I got two videos like this in my recommended. First one I watched was 3D printed - looked really poor. This.....this was amazing. You are a craftswoman! Really enjoyed the video and the result. Excellent!
I have no idea how this made it to my recommendations, but I watched it anyway, cute girl, 11 minutes ok I'm in, boy was I glad I decided to give this a go. Your work on this post (for the video, editing, as well as the helmet) is amusing, entertaining, not to mention amazing. I am so totally impressed with the efforts you both put in, I think I shall subscribe and check out your other posts. You're both very creative and make it fun!
It's amazing what this woman can do with cloth and foam.
You can say that again!

Hands down, what craftsmanship? I am a big Star Wars fan with my Vader suite, in which I invested quite a bit. My son now wants me to try this build.
"It turned out kind of okay..."
IT'S F'N PERFECT! Great work.

All we need is cheap materials, Svetlana's skills, Benni's experience and a couple of Corgis. ❤️
Thank you for inspiring us every day! 😍
"kind of OK" - no, it's really good. Nice one.
You are a true artiste and engineer at the same time! MOST IMPRESSIVE!
I absolutely love your energy, it puts a smile on my face and makes me laugh, thank you for these amazing videos

Wow. You’re amazing. I just found your channel yesterday and have been binge watching since. So many inspirations for me.
Woah! The helmet looks just totally amazing! It just looks real, incredible that it was all hand-crafted!
I'd say normally I would go straight past a video like this but yours caught me. It's awesome and your perky nature makes it really good.
I love your energy and humor. It’s a joy watching you work and very inspiring!
I’ve been looking at foam working tutorials and getting bored with them... then I came across this! Nice and upbeat and energetic. Brilliant. Thank you

Awesome - as usual! Incredible how solid the final product looks... Great build and paintwork!
Absolutely amazing, thank you for providing such detailed instructions.
As expected, you guys did a great job with this helmet. Confused doggo at the end, lol.

I've thought about doing a stormtrooper helmet out of foam before but didn't think it could be done well with all the complex curves it has (especially in the mouth area). Once again proving how little I know about foam work...brilliant stuff!
Thanks! :) You can do pretty much everything with foam if you want to.
You are so creative, guys! Thank you so much for sharing this with as. It is really inspiring!

not sure how you miss that. Super easy to see.
I did! hahaha

This feels so much more lively than most of the 501st approved costumes. Im wodnering why? Is it the way its painted? You really did a great job. your costumes are one of the best ive seen on the net in general.
Thank you. Maybe because it's all hand made to fit me and not a one size fits all vacuum formed piece. :)
Thats amazing! Ive been using a different metho for years, that takes me about a month to do withs, with lots of sanding, and resin. Im definitely using this method from now on.
I love how Benny appeared at the end hahaha That was super cute
