    Dr J is the great NBA forgotten superstar. When they talk about Michael, Magic, Lebron, he rarely gets mentioned. J invented playing above the hoop - he was magical before Magic.

      @@abenathan959he’s simply saying that although Dr. J didn’t win at an all time great level, he’s still one of the more popular players of all time, quite similar to AI.
      AI was in a league with Kobe, Shaq, Bron, etc. but if you look who was #1 in jersey sales and who was right behind Jordan in shoe sales, it was AI. Just like how Kareem/Magic/Bird/Zeke won more in the 70s/80s, up until MJ came out, Dr. J was still one of the more popular players in the league.

When AI played, we had seen high level basketball for decades.. Also, AI WAS top 5 in the NBA during his prime. Steals, handling and Scoring!! The comparison’s are trash.

    I met Dr J. at the Bryant Gumbel Celebrity golf tournament in '96. He sat ant chatted with me for about 10 minutes like we were old friends. He's a real one 👍🏾
