Our 130-Mile Fly Fishing & Bikepacking Trip through Idaho

- Just a few weeks ago, I didn’t even own a bike. But here we were, climbing up an old service road in the middle of nowhere Idaho and I was starting to feel the reality of my inexperience. We were here to fish, but truthfully it was hard to even think about fishing with what was ahead of us. We were deep in bear country with no cell service, no support vehicle, and no option of turning around. It was just us, our bikes, and hopefully everything we needed to survive for the next six days.
This is the full story of that trip.

I bad a personal limit moment In NC on a little trib off Hwy 80. Had to do a bit of rock climbing, almost fell 40 feet. Had to fire my pistol so my buddy knew where I was, Bushwhacked 1/2 mile to the car. Beer tasted real good that day.
Great trip video. The bugs were so loud sometimes. Two years ago in Wyoming, I felt the same bug pain.
