@indianchipmunk2 Its about the same as the original UCA200, but it has the optical and headphone out as well ,essential if your using it for pod casting or something. In fact the original 200 has the same circuit board, just some of the components are not present. so the UCA 200 was kind of a beta test on Behringers part. they are good though, and for the money you pay for them its very good value and with good sound quality and good low latency performance nice one!!!
i saw this in maplin in beckton this saturday when i went to buy a nikkai 5m 3.5mm cable. after i put the box into my hands, i thought i would might aswell have a little look around the dj and computer area and i saw this soundcard and it made me think of your video and i told my dad that this is a cheap and good product, a professional told me about it.
@wasssuppp08 I'm just quoting the maximum output of a USB port. If something tries to draw more than 500 mA from the port, the computer will shut it off.
@MaplinTV no problem, its a good device and I have found it to be very useful. I like cheap things that despite the price work well, it's one of the few things I have come across that is cheap and works well. like the video I did on one of your laptop stands, it was a bargain and it's pukka, works great in my set up. thanks for your comment. nice one!!!
@indianchipmunk2 I will say the Behringer UCA interfaces are good value for money, and I have noticed the latency is very low on them. and you will notice that they work really well with ASIO4ALL. thanks for your comment. nice one!!!
@lezbriddon you have to ware safety gloves, a hard hat, safety goggles and ear protection just encase the cardboard popping open damages your hearing. you also have to take a heath and safety course to know how to pick it up without hurting your back. and not to mention you have to call a qualified electrician to plug it all in. lol so funny but in this day and age would it surprise you. thanks for your comment. nice one!!!
@indianchipmunk2 Hi. I wondered the same thing, but unfortunately I haven't been able to get them to work simultaneously, there is an option to select MIC or Line in, in the drivers. so it seems like its one or the other, not both at the same time. sorry. thanks for your comment. nice one!!!
@drumkiter thank you, I try to do serious but I always manage to be silly at some point in the video lol. I am glad you like the video and thanks for your comment. nice one!!!
@indianchipmunk2 I used the line input, and the line input on the on-board sound card, but I used both outputs from the UB-003. thanks for your comment. nice one!!!
@vwestlife yeah I know, its funny that in this modern society company's fell like they have a legal obligation to cover there ass just in case some actually manages to get a shock off it. the thing that's even more funny is that some one out there is stupid enough to lick it and than sue them for it shocking there tongue, and the company would probably have to pay compensation... tragic. thanks for your comment. nice one!!!
Mate I so agree with you, I got the same card and thought what a load of crap at first and shelved it, but ive since killed 2 soundblaster cards and started using this and its excellent, cost me £10, all this "ooh must get an M audiophile mega bucks unit" is rubbish, ive chucked everything at this external card and its a little monster.
Thats pretty good. I am going to look for something like this for my netbook. I am going to use my netbook with a program called trueRTA and I need to have a soundcard that has a line input. The netbook doesnt. With something like this, I can use my Netbook as an RTA :)
@PhoneyThake yeah amongst advertising aftershave and coffee, well we all got to make money some how and if he wants to smell like a tart and get high on Caffeine than thats cool. thanks for your comment. nice one!!!
@DJJEFFCLIVEISATROLL I do think this channel is great because he knows his electronics and the vids are interesting and relevant. I'm not going to respond to you after this because its just messing up the comments area. If you respect for viperfrank, you wouldnt be posting nasty stuff and making comments that have nothing to do with the video.
@DJJEFFCLIVEISATROLL You mean my video response to smergheed which was a response to the two rude videos you had made directed at me where you were insulting me in the videos? That video?

Thanks for reviewing one of our products, we are currently talking with our manufacturers about the packaging for these devices.

"Risk of electric shock"? 5 volts at 500 mA isn't even enough to give you a tingle.

so this card would be good for time code and it wont have problems when you mix it?
Could you tell us how the noise level on the line in compares with the Numark one you tested?
can i use this instead of the behringer sound card for timecode?
External Sound-cards are great because you can use them on Laptops that have no line-in connection.

Risk of electric shock do not open, so how do you get it out the cardboard box in safety.....
he has a video called "Computer in your DJ set-up #3 time code on the cheap"
wont let me put a link but the video code is D1i7XSZjaV4
@DJJEFFCLIVEISATROLL You mean my video response to smergheed which was a response to the two rude videos you had made directed at me where you were insulting me in the videos? That video?
@DJJEFFCLIVEISATROLL Thank you for the insightful response :)
