Nice vid, any chance you can do a tutorial on the custom firmware upgrade? my ISP is going to force a new router in to the house for a fibre upgrade (that we do not want or need). It would be good to add a super secure access point to it and disable the wifi on the forced box as they are known for using crap sytems (but they are fast). At least then I would not have to buy a high spec wifi router to replace it to have decent wifi network control. I know the standard firmware would probably be ok but now i know there is much better and more secure available I would like to know more. TIA if you can. Keep up the good work, your video format is spot on :)
Nice job, I hope this is the HD camera with the black lighting sorted out, much better quality. The HD is working becuse you missed that spider going past at about 23:31 in :)
Hello. About Wi-Fi speed, just this comment - a Wi-Fi communication is half-duplex in contrast to Ethernet communication (full-duplex). So in general you will get 50% from the AP standard, N300 in your case I belive. O course that is a very short explanation...
Can't wait for the video on the aftermarket firmware!
Always enjoy watching your videos James, very informative. I am looking forward to your aftermarket firmware video too :-) Keep up the awesome videos.
Your a clever chap Frank. Looking forward to seeing how you make them cat5 leads.

another great vid. subscribed
But are they managed Wi-Fi with 802.1X Radius based roaming? I am using the Draytek VigorAP AP-902 with a Vigor 2860 router.

Nice one... Waiting for the after market firmware upgrade video.
What 3rd party firmware do you use? I usually go with DD-WRT.
Anyone see the spider crawling by at 23:45? Great vid btw!

thank you for your comment.
