33 Sailing to Africa: Tunisia: Bizerte via Sardinia

We left Mahón, Menorca on June 10, 2023 headed for Bizerte, Tunisia!
It took us 48 hours to cross the Sea of Sardinia and reach the Island of San Pietro on the southwest tip of Sardinia. We rested, enjoyed the clear turquoise water, and prepared for the second part of our passage to Tunisia. In Bizerte, we “practiced” our French, enjoyed the local cuisine (the peach in the video is our new favorite type of peach). We also learned about the architecture of an old/rebuilt Church from a lovely new friend and had a casual stroll on the waterfront of the ancient Medina. We hope to return to Tunisia in the winter!
