    Hi Kristine, thank you for the informative video. Did you find the first employer by yourself at the first or did you used the agency to get it. How easy was it to find the second employer and is it possible to find a employer for applying visa while living in Canada.

      Hello, for my first employer, I did use an agency. However, Once I started working in agency, I began looking for employers myself. At first, it was challenging because not all employers are aware of TN visa. But I think since the pandemic and increase need of nurses, most employers are hiring Canadian nurses now.

    Thank you so much for the comprehensive video!! I have a few questions that I was hoping you could help me with.
    1) I am wondering if I need an official license verification or if I can just print out my QuickConfirm report?
    2) Did you need to provide a high school transcript in addition to the university transcript? Or is a university transcript adequate?
    3) If you had an employer in Canada, do you know if the old employer needs to provide a proof of employment letter?
    4) I have my CGFNS certificate. Do I still need to provide proof that I passed the NCLEX? If so, how do I prove that?
    Thank you once again!! :)

      Hello Emily, 1. I usually bring the license verification that is provided to me by Washington State everytime I renew my license and I also print the one for Nursys. 2. Are you talking about diploma? I did nit proovide HS transcript but they do require your HS diploma. 3. For TN visa, they do not ask for any proof of employment. They will only ask for the Offer letter. 4. CGFNS certificate is enough. But make sure that if your education done outside canada and US, to have your education equivalence. Thanks

    Hi Kristine, thank you for this video need ko din kasi ng TN Visa. May mga questions lang ako. Paano ka nag pa-book ng appointment sa border for interview? Do you have the link? Next question, need ko pa ba ng CGFNS visa screening kahit NCLEX passer na ako? Need ko pa hintayin yung maintransfer yung license ko sa State Of Washington kasi my license is in New York bago ako mag apply for interview? I appreciate it if you can do a vlog on how to fill up the Form I-129 Petition for Non-immigrant worker as a guide. Thank you so so much. ❤

    • @smwk2017
      @smwk2017 2 роки тому

      If you work for the same US employer, you need to renew your TN visa every 3 years at the border. Some companies do the visa renewal with their corporate lawyers instead because they don't want to take chances.

May I ask if you can be able to apply for a TN Visa working under Per Diem or it has to be strictly part-time? As far as the USCIS website goes, it only states, full or part-time jobs. Just for clarification Thanks!

    Hi kristine..i am an internationally educated nurse from India.i recently cleared my usnclex and transferred my license to cno.I didn't start working as an rn yet since I finished my safe practice period .i am a pr holder and I would like to move to us.whether us employer will ask for recent experience? And also would like to know what is the ielts score is required to work as an rn in us? If i work in canada for some time can i waive the language requirement.waiting for your reply.thank you

    • @smwk2017
      @smwk2017 2 роки тому

      You need to be Canadian and RN. They did not ask for language test results. They ask for actual university diploma. The experience thing is between you and your US employer; otherwise, you won't get a job offer in the first place.
