Hi Lenny, I have already discussed this scenario in one of my earlier video. Here's the link to that video 'Are personal income taxes different in Canada compared to USA?': ua-cam.com/video/raorGDWeitU/v-deo.html Thanks for watching!
Hi Mukesh, does Person A who only has a Canadian permanent residency and not a Canadian passport, But is married to Person B a Canadian citizen who is getting H1B for the first time to work in America, can Person A apply for work authorization without waiting for an approved i-140 form for person b? I'm asking you because you seem to be very knowledgeable with the Canadian PR process in American H1B process.
Hi Maninder, Canadian PR doesn't give you any special benefits to work in the US. You will have to apply for H1B visa until you get a Canadian citizenship and then be eligible for TN visa.
Hi Mukesh, I was wondering if I could move to canada on a PR and still work in the US on a H1B visa. (travel to and fro to work from canada to michigan on a daily basis). Is that possible? what if I have an i-140 petition approved? Any idea if things would be different in that case? Thank you
Why does the TN visa not recognize barely any business management / logistics management / international freight careers? or anything in administration
We are canadian citizens and my husband is thinking to get TN visa as he is a software engineer. Can I continue working with my Canadian employer while on TD visa? How the taxes in US and Canada will work?
There are cases of family separation. Husband works in US via TN visa; he files US taxes. Wife and children remained in Canada; they file Canadian taxes.
Your spouse cannot work under your TN visa; your spouse will need to apply for his/her own TN visa if qualified. Your children can study in US public schools (elementary, mid, and high school) without paying; public schools are funded by rent and property taxes.
Hello. I'm applying for jobs in the US, and when I'm asked for "Are you legally authorized to work in the United States?", should I put yes or no? I know it's easy for Canadian citizens to get TN visa.
Say YES or else they might throw your application to the side without even looking at it. Many don't wanna sponsor. But they are mistaken in thinking they need to sponsor a TN visa.
Hi, Yes, it is reciprocal in nature. So, US citizens do get the same privilege in Canada through TN status. You would have to apply it through the Canadian agency, obviously. Thanks for watching!
Hi there very informative video, but i have one doubt suppose i lost my job and the TN visa ended so will i have to return back to canada find a job and then again apply for TN visa or can i stay in USA and search for job?? Since Canadian citizens can live 6 months visa free? Please reply
Hello Mukesh, I’ve bachelors degree in computer science from a canadian university and I’m a canadian citizen. I looked up for the profession that are eligible for TN-1 visa, but it just shows Computer Systems Analyst. So,just wanted to know your opinion am I eligible for it? Thanks
Hi Mukesh. I just received my ITA in today's draw. Could you please share the procedure for obtaining indian PCC while in usa. Any idea if we need to apply for a medical exam for an infant less than 6 months of age?
Hi Kula Sekhar, Congratulations on getting your ITA! I will post a video about getting a PCC tomorrow evening (Aug 7th). Regarding medical exam for an infant, I couldn't find anything on IRCC website but many of the other PR candidates have stated that a medical exam is needed even for an infant. Although, it is only a general physical check-up. You can also find answer to this question from the panel physician when you call for an appointment. I hope this helps..
@@kuriousminds2019 Thank you. Awesome! Eagerly waiting for the new video. I Just called the Physician in Michigan and was told that the infant needs the medical exam too but he doesnt need the x-ray and blood tests (phew!).
Hi Mukesh thanks for the great video 👍 I am a Canadian citizen and looking to move to US. I am looking for Analytics positions. I only saw computer system analyst or management consultant in the link. so how does that work? my education is not computer engineering but I have MBA. any help will be appreciated. thanks.
What are the advantages of having an employer file an I-129 and are there any advantages or risks in using premium processing when you are already in the USA on an I-20.
Hi Sudor Kaesong, Thank you for your kind words! All you need is a job offer from a US company. I don’t know any companies that could assist you at this time. I would suggest you to start a search on job portal sites such as Indeed, Monster or LinkedIn. That would be the best way I think!
Recommend getting an immigration lawyer to do it. The first obstacle is getting Labor Cert. Then you have to wait in line for a green card based on your country of birth. Thus, if you are Indian Canadian, you will wait in line under India which has a long queue.
Excellent video and very clear. Ty
Hi Mukesh, thank you for informative and thorough video.
