Having watched 40-50 Morgan James recordings and knowing her immense talent, I'd didn't think I could be surprised anymore...yet, here it is... wow - so moving 👏👏
I'm a professional gigging musician, conductor, and worship pastor and there's no question you are the finest vocalist I've heard in the last ten years.
I live half a world away and just adore you.. there isnt a night that goes by that I search for your music ."Dream On" is still the standout performance. Thank you Morgan
I love Morgan James's voice. Her version of this song equals that of Sinead O'Connor, another great female vocalist. I also love her cover of Dream On.

No, sorry...it isn't. I love Morgan James, but the best version of this Prince song, without a doubt, is by Sinead O'Connor. The passion, pain and longing evoked by Sinead is just unmatched. Morgan does a good version, but it doesn't match Sinead
Great show, so fortunate the sound guy gave me this file from the board. He plugged my Zoom into the board, but that audio was distorted. I'm beginning to think my Zoom is faulty, out of the few times I've been plugged into the board w/ my Zoom, only once has it recorded good audio, and that was in Idyllwild.
@@morganjameslive8650 I tested my Zoom by recording music played thru my best speakers. Then I play it back thru those speakers and compare to the “original.” You can hear exactly what the zoom is doing to the sound. When I first did this I was disappointed how crappy my H1n recordings sound, but I don’t use it enough to upgrade.
Damn Morgan James. I was happy hating the song "Shake It Off" as more Swift crap and then she sang it (there are a couple YT versions and in one she holds a note for about 23 seconds, mind boggling). I think it took me about 10 minutes to pick up my jaw and the song is nailed into my playlists. I hope I am back in Edmonton when she visits next. I do miss the long hair though.
I move from Spain to Chicago just to listen Her With this one i can hardly keep my tears She was so nice . She talks to us and sign a póster that’s my treasure I’m in love with this woman Really
Love Morgan, will see her for the 3rd time this summer. Now, Sinead O'Connor - I paid big money to see her live, halfway through the 1st song, she walked off-stage in a hissy fit and never returned. No respect.
Morgan is vocal and educated enough, but she doesn't seem to be using the microphone to her best advantage. Maybe she should see how soul's primate, the vocal Yolanda Adams, sings and uses the microphone.
Having watched 40-50 Morgan James recordings and knowing her immense talent, I'd didn't think I could be surprised anymore...yet, here it is... wow - so moving 👏👏
Why isn't she a bigger star- she has the presence, the look and the most amazing voice. She can make any song her own. Beautiful rendition.
She is
One of the reasons is she has full control of her own carreer. She's not dependent of the big record labels. She is a wonderful artist.
In a better world she'd be more known than Taylor Swift. The breadth and depth is hardly compared against ❣️🐢🐇
I'm a professional gigging musician, conductor, and worship pastor and there's no question you are the finest vocalist I've heard in the last ten years.
Amen, Brother!! 👍👍
Check out Hailey Reinhart too, both amazing with their own regard. Equally beautiful with their own abilities
I love this song and I love Morgan James but I can never hear this song without thinking about Sinéad O'Connor
Classical voice for many genres.Brilliant,Morgan James.
I live half a world away and just adore you.. there isnt a night that goes by that I search for your music ."Dream On" is still the standout performance. Thank you Morgan
Agree. It's better than Aerosmith's version, which is a standard.
Agree.

Morgan, you're so gifted... you just gotta get some coaching to write your own material, so the REAL you can POP out! 😉
Are you joking? She wrote four albums of original music.
How many songs did Frank Sinatra write?
I've been following you for such a longtime . Who has told you to sing song like ridiculous
OMG cut that beautfull hair, no wonder you sing this depreesing song.
I like Morgan she has a great talent however I don’t like this version .

I like Morgan James, but Sinehead O'Connor IS this song, Morgan James is only singing it. Big difference 🤷
